If you buy the flex seal clear and spray any type of mat like this, it will never get discolored from water/snow and keeps them looking nice. I was previously throwing mine out after every season.

Well I bought this mat from The Range (UK Store) last summer to make a front door mat for MIL's Christmas present last year. Well, Christmas came and went and no mat. Then Mother's Day came and went, so did her Birthday and still no mat! Well, I came across your video last night (don't ask me how) and after watching it I said 'self? How easy is this? We are going to make this for MIL's Christmas this year (2020)'. Well today...me, myself and I made it! So proud of myself and MIL had better love it as much as I do. Thank you for your tutorial. I've seen other videos using freezer paper here (UK) and we can't get that unless we pay extortionate prices on Amazon, so glad to use vinyl and splitting the design an added bonus! I've hit the subscribe button and joined your Facebook group ...(pending by the way!) Thanks again!

I’m a Cameo gal, but wanted to see what Cricut could cut through…such as wood. Got sidetracked here and glad I did. You’re smart, thorough, and definitely crafty. I’ll watch more and hopefully find where you cut thicker materials as wood. Might have to get me a Cricut Maker. I abandoned Cricut in the very beginning of their products. Hmmm. What a change.

What an excellent video. You are a wonderful teacher. You explain well, give good details, the close-ups of the computer screen are easily visible, and you give great tips (like using a board beneath the mat to keep things level and not bend). And, your clear and easy speaking voice helps overall. And you are very honest about not knowing whether the final protective spray product actually worked, so I appreciate that. If you are not a teacher, you SHOULD be. We need good teachers! I know the amount of time it takes to make and edit a video, so I appreciate the quality and content all the more. Really great job!

Just gotta say, I bought my cricut maker last week (my first Cricut! I figured I should save up and get the best one! lol so that's what I did!!), and it doesn't get here until this Friday (2/12/2021) but, while I've seen plenty of videos on hacks etc - so far you have been the best "outside of the box" person so far as far as what I can use this thing for. I would have never thought I can use it to make a stencil for a rugmat, a steel cup, or a wooden cutting board.
I look forward to going through the backlog to get ideas. Thank you.

Your video was excellent! Directions were very precise and easy to follow. I just made a mat for my mother and it turned out great! I just need to put a sealant on it.

I am so excited to follow you so much. I just ordered my cricket and I cannot wait to use it. I think I might’ve gone overboard with ordering everything but it’s OK I’ll use it. I love watching your tutorials and I cannot wait to use the things that you have taughtt me. Thank you.

BY FAR the best done tutorial. You speak clearly and succinctly. I love the fact that you give such a close close ups of the screen to show the buttons to click on design space... very very very well done . Thank you for sharing.... love and peace from Canada and me, Catherine BIG HUGS

Thank you for speaking so clearly, concisely and directly. Even my husband, who usually tunes out my craft videos, noticed it right away and I caught him watching one himself (and he knows nothing about Cricut. Hahaha) I really enjoy your tutorials and the way you show us how to make things. Cyber*hugs*

I bookmarked this video several months ago and just getting around to watching. Great video. I am not a beginner with the Cricut and found this video the best for creating a personalized door mat perfect. I'm going to try this in the next week or two, hopefully, in time to give as a Christmas gift. I did successfully make a door mat using freezer paper, but this looks so much easier. Thanks, Mr. Crafty Pants. Your video was easy. to follow and not full of a lot of extra talking and repetitiveness. You are a great instructor!!
