I’m making a doormat just with black paint but the design is bigger than the mats so I am using two mats. I tried THREE times last night: twice with freezer paper (the cricut ripped it) and once with matte white vinyl (couldn’t get the transfer sheet off. I LOVE your tip of using press n seal. I just ordered some to try again tomorrow!

Hi! You can and I’ve done this before, however, the doormat will fade quicker over time. This is due to acrylic paint being water based. I highly suggest using the paint in this tutorial (linked in the video description) if you want your doormats to last and if you’re selling doormats in your craft business.
Hi. In the description of the supplies it says that you used Black Oil-Based Paint, Spray Sealant and Clear Liquid Flex Seal. When did you use them? I only saw that you used Liquid Flex Seal black, white, green and pink.
At 9:38 I explain why I used only the black flex seal and not the black oil-based paint. As for the sealant, this is explained at 13:30! I normally use clear liquid flex seal and have shown this process on my other platforms on IG, RUclips shorts and TikTok.

Can you use acrylic paints? Having a craft party for christmas but was going to use acrylic pain and use clear flex seal afterwards. Will that work?
