A great free hack to keep vinyls from unrolling is to use the cardboard inserts from bathroom or kitchen roll. Simply cut along one side and hey presto!
Wow! I stopped watching Cricut hacks because they were always the same hacks. Yours was refreshingly new and useful. Joining your site right now. Thanks for the useful tips!
I have a cricut that I still feel very intimidated with so I really don't use it. Your video has me excited to pull it out and create using your hacks!! I'd love to see a pt 2.
Snap 😂 I’ve done some vinyl transfers but that’s about it. Maybe I should’ve got the joy instead of all that money for a maker 😞 I don’t know where to start tbh and all the houses cost money again x
If you start with small projects, then the intimidation will go away. Try doing some cardstock projects. And cricut's website does offer free learning plans. There's also a few youtubers that offer free tutorials. Find one or two that fit your way of learning. Don't get overwhelmed by over-subscribing as you'll end up getting confused.
I too was intimidated. It took me over a year to open it. On FB and Instagram I've seen these ads for the free workshops and summits. DO THEM!! I have been to enough of them that I'm at total ease now. Especially in Design Space. I've gone from some vinyl on Christmas ornaments too layered paper cards and shadow boxes, and now, I'm waiting for my 11 in 1 heat press. I can't wait!! Do the workshops. They're free and can be rewatched for 24hrs. I just wait for evening and skip the ones I'm not interested in.
I have a Cricket Joy and I have a file box I use to organize my vinyl. I usually get all my vinyl from Amazon because it's cheaper and I already have consistent vendors I buy from. I precut my vinyl to the 4.5 by 12 and organize them by color. I'm actually thinking about getting a four-drawer filling cabinet to store my vinyl in because it will be me more space. Love these hacks :)
Try stretch pony tail holders for your rolls. While I like the slap bracelet idea they can be expensive. Just found this video in my feed. Love the tips. Definitely subscribing.
ok, stumbled onto your channel as i went down the rabbit hole. i am pretty fluent with my cricut, but you actually taught me something new, so i subscribed!! thanks
I feel the same as you, I'm pretty good with my machine and thought I knew a lot, I just posted a comment about blades, I have never liked Cricut blaze and always use Amazon aftermarket blades but she had some other hacks that were very useful.
Same here! I actually found her video VERY HELPFUL, and not irritating to watch! There are some.that are just mind numbing to listen to and watch, and others that make me want to ch......well, nevermind that!! Lol! Does super glad that I found this channel and I am definitely among the 100K+ subscribers now!! 🎉CONGRATS!
I love the wrist slaps idea, I've just ordered some. It’s great you can write on them too, as I get my permanent vinyl mixed up with the removable vinyl. I wish the suppliers would print it on the backing paper.
Love your videos! I’m new to cricut and wanted to know if you could make a video on how you made the black vinyl leaves and show which settings to use to get that kind of outline? Thanks!!
Thank you for you video's so helpful. Do you have a link for the foil card stock you used in this video to make the butterfly? Or tell me what weight the stock is so it holds up to the bend. Thank you looking forward to your next video.
It is one of the best videos I have watched about the cricut machines. I am definitely visiting your page to learn more since I am so new at this that my cricut is still in the box.

Omg you make such cute designs. I have a few questions lol. How do you know what blade to use for what material? When changing the pressure in the machine will it go back to default after that cut or will I have to go in and change the pressure, also how will I know when to change the pressure?
I watch a lot of Cricut videos but you had some new tips I hadn’t seen. I enjoyed your video. I don’t subscribe to many channels, but I did yours. Great job!
I am thinking on purchasing a cricut but have hesitated for fear of being knowledgeable to utilize it to its potential. Any ideas for a newbie on cricut? Yes I think you should do more videos on the hacks
Is there anything you can create with the scraps that you weed after you do a project with a cricut? Not the pieces that haven’t been separated but the pieces that you take away from your image! Thanks love your channel! Also how do you know which vinyl is which is you now have a huge collection of rolled up tubes but you never labeled anything?!😮

I’m wondering which brand you are using that doesn’t have the vinyl type on the backing paper? All of mine is labeled.
