I have no clue how I never found you (your channel) before today. You are an incredible crafter and I am so stoked to watch all of your videos to learn more from you so I can up my craft game!!! Thank you for sharing with all of us!!!!
I watched this video about a month ago and I’m finally getting around to trying it. I am so frustrated. I watch this video I don’t know how many times but I cannot get the vinyl to stick. I’m using the heat gun. I use little heat. I tried keeping it further away so I wouldn’t melt it and that wasn’t working so I brought it closer still not working. Then I put it a little bit closer again and then it melted the letters. I was sweeping it back and forth not directly but it melted. 🤦🏻♀️ Sally, you make it look so easy that’s why I love your videos. I guess I should just stick to the easier stuff 😂
WOW! This was awesome! I’ve made doormats before and they weren’t as crisp and didn’t last. This was AMAZING tips for making it crisp and last! Thank you! :)
Can't wait to try the heat gun! I've had trouble and gotten frustrated with getting the vinyl to stay down when removing transfer tape. Thanks for sharing!
fontbundles.net/ka-designs/998050-holiday-wishes-handwritten-script-font?ref=5riGLR this is it! It's also included in bundles she has as well. I love it. Thanks for watching!
Oh my gosh, I thought you had some new magic that allowed my last name (Shaw is my new last name!) to auto show up on your video like it does in some of the advertisements I get haha. This looks great! I can't wait to try it.
This way be a odd question. But do you have any reocmmendations on a good "indoor rug" that I could do this to? I have someone who like my rugs in making like this, but wants a indoor one instead of outdoor!
It is a little costly (around 14 for the big can) but I have made 3 mats so far and there seems to still be a ton left. For the quality, I think it's worth it!
I loveeeee this!!! I have a question, for those you don’t have a star craft machine ( I think that’s what’s it’s called 😂) could you do this in Cricuit design (although Cricuit you can’t cut pass a certain length) or maybe photoshop? Or do you have to have the machine in order to use the software? I love this, you did such an amazing job!!
Hi Deanna! So yes you can do this in cricut, you'll just have to piece parts together. Several other crafters use their cricut, like Mr crafty pants and Amy makes that. They also have a video on making these mats 😊 you can purchase this software but not sure that you can use it with the cricut. Thanks for watching and for the support!!
Fabulous job. Amazingly clear tuition, thank you very much.
LOVE IT!! It doesn't matter what you try your hand at, you always do such a FANTASTIC job! God has blessed you with amazing talent!!!
Aww thanks so much Kendra. That was so sweet of you to say 🥺❤

Omg. Love it. I can do that. Love the flex seal idea.
Thank you! It feels really durable and is sure to last for many years to come 😊
That turned out great! Thanks for sharing the process.
Thanks for watching!!

🤣 wouldn't that be funny! We are last name twins though! Thanks for watching 😊
How does it hold up?
I have a mat I purchased at home depot and they are expensive. I might just do the next one. Lol
And cheaper too. This is such a great idea. Thanks.
Yes they are expensive! At least this way you can personalize it however you want, which is a plus! Thanks for watching 😊
How did you make the border around

Great video!! Please tell me how you decided on flex seal?? Is it cost effective? Thank you 😊

@@SimplySallie Excellent! Thanks
Idk if you’ve seen but there been like a “doormat party” going around. If I supply the doormat, paint & stencils how much should I price everything?
Looks good, but maybe a little off center. I would have cut the vinyl a little more proportionate to the mat size.
Ive made 3 mats so far, never put the rustoleum down they didnt last more than a few months before fading. How long has yours lasted?
Mine is definitely faded- but I still have the original on my porch from when I made this video!
Just had to drop a like for my last name.Shaw❤😂🎉

How long did it last?
It’s still looking great!
Will you make me one?????? 😁
Someone putting his legs and dirt on your name doesn't hurts?
You talk to much about stuff that’s has nothing to do with the project 😮
