@@dicedrinksanddadjokes :) Don't expect it to be on this level! what would you suggest if you did not have one of the table based hot wire cutters? I don't really have the space sadly but love how much it enables you to do.
@@BattleCamperHome For cutting circles you mean? If you have a hand held hot wire cutter you'd either have to free hand it I guess or possibly find a way to clamp it to your table? When there's a will there's a way mate 😆

I must confess that I was getting a little nervous over how you were going to create that “solid” connection to the stone stairs and also keep the surface of the floating island perfectly level. I don’t know how you made it all come together perfectly, but you did!
I really love the effect of the washes. Do you apply a “surfactant” to the homemade washes, like a drop of Jetdry or dishwasher detergent?
Thanks man! I was pretty darn nervous myself haha! Nah no detergent or flow agent of any kind. Just black paint well mixed with lots of water 😊

This isn’t original but could you make a ruin or building to match the Skaventide terrain.
Next challenge: Create an ACTUAL floating island. (It CAN BE DONE!!! But, you have to figure it out, yourself. 😜🤪😝 Seriously, it can be done!)
