Just a little tidbit of info in case you don't know. Bowie said to Annie, "go see Antony Price to design a frock for the show". So she went to see Antony and they came up with the quick design for the dress together as she said it was all moving so fast to get everyone together.
Still don't understand why some want to compare vocal skills, trying to decide who gets closer to Freddie Mercury, who is more appropriate to sing his repertoire, etc. Is it really worth it? This performance was amazing back then (I watched it when it first aired)and still is today! The way Annie dressed, the drama, the intensity between them is the real tribute. This is not a talent show and Annie and David were perfect
