He did look good, he aged very well and his energy never failed.
He looked so much better as he aged than when he was young. He cleaned himself up by then and had a stable marriage to Iman and a daughter to live for.

i'm currently 19 and i had and still have a huge crush on him and his unbelievably unique voice and style. but, to be honest, he looked the most handsome during this time, both his looks and as a person. and it makes me so happy that he lasted so long. he's not only a legend but definitely some kind of extraterrestrial being that just happened to pit-stop on earth to enchant us with his beautiful voice. i'm sure he moved on to the next planet, that starman… truly a hero.
Bowie was definitely a supreme specimen, though as a straight guy I am more interested in that bassist there next to him.

This man was a musical genius inside and out. I can remember growing up in the 70's, listening to him, getting every album that ever came out, and following his career my whole life. Such a sad loss, geez! They are leaving us one by one. Really makes me think. His music will certainly live on, and so will he in our hearts

I love you David Bowie, may you rest in peace. I played Let's Dance and Rebel Rebel with tears in my eyes today, on my Strat and Les Paul, and both sounded so good I just cried. I did see the thin white Duke back in the 80's in Chicago for support of the album Let's Dance, and I thank God for it. He is only 7yrs older than me. He is one of my many Heroes of music. I had too many good times while listening to his music in the '70's, and it continues.

I've been listening to Bowie straight for a month now. Still mourning!
I am so fortunate that I have seen him three times in his last 2003 tour. His music was, is and will be always in my life.
I have see Bowie live three times over the years and this is probably one of the best versions of 'Heroes' I have seen him perform. I would love to see him again if he ever decides to tour at least one more time.
I saw this Reality Tour in Manchester, NH. I love & miss David Bowie.
I wonder how often, at these moments when he and his band were nailing it, the crowd was wild, and everyone was on top of the world, that it occurred to him that one day he would be doing this for the very last time.

David Bowie, was an Artist, singer, I heard he had his own art, a very talented, smart, loving husband and dad. Very sad.. especially for his family... I know that David Bowie will always be a part of who I am.. he was funny as well, I have been listening to him since early high school, I sit and think about the time, and wow time goes so fast.. Watching this great performance makes me remember what my Dad said when Sinatra passed away. My Dad has now passed on as well, but he said that when Sinatra passed it was odd as Sinatra had always been around, for what seemed like, all of his life and that it was it strange that was the end of Sinatra. I got the principle at the time but I now get exactly what he meant. Throughout my life there were always new Bowie albums, where he used his Chameleon persona to surprise us, but that is no more. RIP David and I love Heroes......Thank you....
