I saw him in SF 1975...he came on smoking cigarettes and was the epitome of cool...I was high when I came in and then...he and his magnificent band (with Mick Ronson) took me higher
Of all the "celebrity" deaths, one hurt deep to my soul. Mr. David Bowie. Just a Detroit punk that jumped the silent cars sleeping at the traffic lights.
He is the only artist, musician, performer that never looked past it. He changed his style to suit his age. A genius in all respects. I love him as much now as I did 45 years ago
Same here! This song along with "Under The God" sang by him in the band Tin Machine have been stuck in my head the last 3 days of stress! Having been blessed to meet him, makes me miss him so much. A great man gone too soon.
I was 14 when i saw this concert. My first and last time seeing Bowie live. I went absolutely WILD when he came on.....one of the best moments of my life! ....i'll miss his sexy self....*sniff*
David Bowie arrived 1/8/1947 - BlackStar arrived 1/10/2016 Isn't it strange hoe mentioned how strange it is that when there is someone you've never met before passes, you can still feel such a loss. ….David stayed up with me many a lonely night over the last 45 years - making my bad days better - my nights brighter, all while making me a better musician. ...What a talent. - What a career. - What a loss. - What a soul and thank you for sharing it and thanks for touching mine. -J.D.Gragg We all know there is a footprint on the Moon - now we know there is one on Mars, David Bowie's.
Just watching this whole concert on UK TV . He was 56 here, (my age now) he looks early 40's, slim, cool and hot at the same time, gorgeous, fit as a fiddle. I'm not going to comment on the music, no need, adored him and his music for 46 years.
He looks like he's having so much fun here, shame this was his last tour, and would retire from performing after his heart attack. We miss you still David!!
this evening I listen again to this song that I know by heart and once again I realize that I miss him so much... him and his unique talent... I discovered him when I was 13 (I I'm 57) at the time of Ashes to Ashes and I haven't stopped loving him since. records books bootlegs compilations and the rest...it's crazy how an artist can mark you forever.
I love how in every song he ever sings, he always isn't scared to be who he wants to be, and he is unique, and that's what makes each of his songs special.
This is from before I was born and I still love it years after discovering it for myself. So I don’t think it’s nostalgia that makes people say, “music used to be so much better!”. I think they are legitimately right. After some point in the 2000s you just stopped getting groundbreaking music. I wonder what happened
It's fantastic the way Bowie reinvented this song. I've seen this reinvented version a number of times, but this particular video is the best I reckon.
My 3-yr-old told me this is his favorite song. Not Baby Shark, not any nursery song, but this one, Rebel Rebel. And each time I played this song in my car or in the living room, he would ask me to play it again when the song ended. He just can't stop dancing when the melody is banging. I'm very proud of his taste of music.
I’m 13, I have a huge passion for “old” music. David Bowie will always and forever be the best glam rocker out there. Rest in piece man! Would’ve loved to see you on stage rockin out.

+Kyyro Incorrect. Obviously you don't know much at all about Bowie. You do seem really interested in making someone an atheist, even if they're not. Bowie was too smart to call himself an atheist.
