They were too intense about their own work to be besties, but there was a lot of mutual appreciation between them. Also, Freddie's boyfriend/husband Jim was a hairstylist, and was the reason that David Bowie's hair was so magnificent at Live Aid. (He did Freddie's perfect hair that day too, and their good friend Elton John's. Jim had serious skills.)
Almost 35 years ago to the day, I had the historic honour to watch this legend live with Queen at Madrid, Spain. A 15 yo girl, with a couple of my best friends, without our parents knowing. Bowie himself said he didn't know how to follow Mercury and just what he did to emphasize Mercury voice.

Here it is 2021 and I’m watching these magnificent artist who have both left us. Saddens me. Thanks for the memories guys! Takes me back to high school and those outrageously awesome years past. What a life
What they are trying to say is these people are still alive. Out of witness protection. Prince, Bowie, Mecury, Elvis, Marley, Jackson, Joplin on and on and on. Due to turning in the Illuminati for their fame to secrecy of worship to Satan. Praise God. I wouldn't doubt Lennon and Harrison. We'll see!
If you had to decide on the best rock song ever, you could pick this one. Two geniuses with incredible voices, a song that forever sounds amazing! I wish I could go back in time to witness this.
@@lwh7301 ok opera. Both these two could sing opera if they wanted to. Heck, Bohemian Rhapsody is a sorta musical and David Bowie had a voice for it. Let alone Mercury who already proved it.
I shed tears at the end. The harmonies were so beautiful. The life that was shared in this moment cannot be properly expressed. I am so blessed to have listened to this version.
A scientific study explained why their vocal range is almost inimitable. What are the singularities that return to your unique voice? To prove his vocal genius, there is nothing more convincing than listening to one of his songs. Why would their voices be silenced? OMG this is such a great duet!!! I miss them both so much! Bowie was indeed my idol since youth. At 62 now I am still priviledged to be able to watch them over and over again! THANK YOU!
I'm still crying 😭 I loved both Freddie Mercury and David Bowie, and now they are gone! Listening to this Music and watching the Videos helps me remember them. Thanks, guys! for the great Music.
Same 😢
Yes, watching this and crying...it is such a great talent they had. I still remember the day I heard the news about ...How many more songs they could came up with...
Don't cry because they're gone. Smile because you got to be there for their music.
Pure magic! These two together. WOW! Never be music like this again!!!
Não me canso de esculta-lo! Cresci ouvindo essa banda maravilhosa! E sempre que posso escuto novamente!!!!
@@alinesantana9938 what you said, I think!
Love this song! One of my favorites with Queen. Freddie and David are amazing together!
60's, 70's, 80's were the time for true music. True legends 😢😢😢😢😢😢 I can't imagine how much we miss those time and legends today. Tired of today's fake auto tune artists 😏😒😏😒😏
True true
Yesterday's music was fantastic, it was for us, those who were part of yesterday, today's music is for the youth of today and they like it, so how about we don't shitcan the music they want, as the older generation shitcaned our music of yesterday.
Not a big fan of Bruno mars but I gotta respect him cause he actually has a real voice.
Im 24 and I like this old music way better. Didnt talk about sex drugs or violence in every single song. Todays music is shit but we have no better stuff to listen to because holywood controls who becomes famous. @itsamemario8014
Nothing comes close true genius 💗
Used to listen to this in the car with my dad when I was small 😔
Какая сила и мощь! Жаль, ушёл рано! Такого нет и не будет! Душу рвёт от тоски!
This song is GOLD
O ano é 2023 e cá estamos, ouvindo esse clássico imortal❤
On ne pourra jamais les oubliée ils sont dans nos cœurs 💕
2024
Nice mix Anna
Thank you very much 🎶☺️
Two classics that are dearly missed. I grew up with them both and listening makes me cry. The greats are always taken soon.
2024 and we still here💙
...and they are still here!!!! Fredie and Davis are/were star who never dies!
손가락을 튕기면 그가 다시 살아 날것 같아요....
And now April 2024 the world is under so much pressure
Oh yea we aer
Try 2024...
We'll see!
Joe u are so right
Two angels i hope they are in a better place
If you had to decide on the best rock song ever, you could pick this one. Two geniuses with incredible voices, a song that forever sounds amazing! I wish I could go back in time to witness this.
Not even close, even if you consider this to be a rock song. (It's not.)
Imagine being there..
@@lwh7301 ok opera. Both these two could sing opera if they wanted to. Heck, Bohemian Rhapsody is a sorta musical and David Bowie had a voice for it. Let alone Mercury who already proved it.
@@christystewart4567 Opera!?! You need to expand your horizons! This is a pop song!
You can find a comment like this on every music video
These two musicians together were and still are incredible… one of my favourite songs, Brilliantly preformed
I shed tears at the end. The harmonies were so beautiful. The life that was shared in this moment cannot be properly expressed. I am so blessed to have listened to this version.
December 2024- will never get enough of either of these two!
Really good song
Freddy’s voice has to be one of the greatest . His level is higher than many opera singer !!
Have you heard him sing, Barcelona? Truly fabulous.
Yes I think he could of sung anything with anyone and matched them completely he was so talented what a voice!!
A scientific study explained why their vocal range is almost inimitable. What are the singularities that return to your unique voice?
To prove his vocal genius, there is nothing more convincing than listening to one of his songs. "Don't stop me now", one of Queen's anthems, in which Mercury shows off his unmatched variety of tones...
He was right up there with Minnie Ripperton on his vocal range. 3 or 4 people have in moden times been blessed with this vocal range talent.
He did study opera.
Гениальный,несомненно талантливый музыкант,певец,да просто добрый и хороший человек!! Тебя любит и знает все человечество!!Браво Фредди!!!Мы тебя любим фанаты России!!❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘
One of my favourite songs of Queen. Amazing duo!
this is beautiful two beautiful vocalists amazing harmonies together AMAZING love them both RIP
It's 2024 and so missing them amazing together ❤
Amazing...no matter where you are, what time of day it is or the situation....you hear those opening cords and you're spirit lights up. You know what's coming
can we applaud the BRILLIANT editor that cut this video together? Freddy + David never sang this song together live on stage and this video is nearly seamless
😮
@@latuavita5530IIRC they never did a studio recording together. But I believe they did this one performance together. B
@@NHPackerfan2 watch the video again carefully in slow motion where they appear together. Very masterfully stitched together not ever the same time of day between the cuts. Also this thing called Google. While they were at Live Aid at the same time they never performed this song together live because David never sang it live before and they had had never rehearsed it together. Also, the schedule didn’t allow for it.
I just ChatGPT’d it and wow, they never performed this song together ever on stage.
You're absolutely 💯 right!
Dois gigantes da música. Amoooo
Devem estar cantando no céu. Obrigada pelo legado deixado.
RIP Freddie Mercury (September 5, 1946 - November 24, 1991), aged 45
And
RIP David Bowie (January 8, 1947 - January 10, 2016), aged 69
You both will be remembered as legends.
69. Nice.
@@CarolBaughman🤡
My sentiments exactly.
Both broke my heart, but so very much love both of them, still!
So so young for Freddie, not too old for David either but I have the feeling that they probably lived as much as 3 lifetimes to our one while they were with us😉
Gives me chills listening to these 2 great men sing. Im sure they are still singing together in music heaven now!
God didn’t make Adam and Steve, something to think about. God doesn’t believe in sickness.
So men can't even sing together? Don't worry. I'm sure your god is an awesome god. He just can't make great music.
they probably fucking there
Hi Marie, how are you doing?
@@davidfinland00007 And yet, people get sick. Is your god for real? Then you better pray he likes trolls.
Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure
That burns a building down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming get me out
Tomorrow takes me higher
Pressure on people
People on streets
Day day day
Okay
Chippin' around
Kick my brains round the floor
These are the days
It never rains but it pours
People on streets
People on streets
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out
Tomorrow takes me high, high, higher
Pressure on people
People on streets
Turned away from it all
Like the blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love
But it's so slashed and torn
Why why why?
Love, love, love, love
Insanity laughs under pressure we're cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love give love give love?
Give love, give love, give love
Give love, give love, give love?
'Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care
For the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way
Of caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
Under pressure
Under pressure

You forgot all the “ba da dee dah” stuff 😂
Thank you for adding the lyrics to this masterpiece.
Thanks!! You’re awesome!❤

Nunca jamás habrá otra época en la música como lo fue en la que semejantes seres coexitieron larga vida al ROCK

One of my favourites - Bowie is superb and Freddie brought so much energy and joy to his performance. When I watch this I feel like I'm about to start levitating as my heart soars.
We are so lucky to live in a time so their voices are never silenced
Why would their voices be silenced? People didn't really believe Freddie Mercury was gay, until he was dying of AIDS, by then it would've been to late to silence him, David Bowie was married to a supermodel with Children, umm Freddie Mercury said when he was dying, that the only person he ever truly loved, was his wife, who took care of him while he was dying
Fredie was the best frontman in rock and roll.i was luck enough to se Queen twice before Fredie left us.God bless you Frdie Mucury You left your mark in this world for sure !🇨🇦👍❤️🇨🇦
