    • @TinyLittles3D

Yes, the base is hollowed. If you don't want to hollow, try adding more supports or stronger supports. Increasing bottom layer exposure might help too

@@TinyLittles3D thanks for the reply. I am trying to understand LycheeSlicer better and I’m a little bit afraid of hollowing since I’ve never used it before and I’m afraid of resin staying inside or even the IPA staying in and not drying properly. I’ll add stronger supports.

Do you think you could give us an estimate on how much money would someone need to make something like this model from start to finish? Considering not just the printer but also the supplies, paints, brushes, other machines needed, etc? Around $1500? $2000? It would be nice to have a gross estimate in order to know if I would be able to financially recover someday from that purchase 😅

For myself, I started with an elegoo saturn 2. That was about 400$ USD at that time I believe. Plus the wash and cure station, I would say printing gear wise, it would be $700USD. Then a must have for me is airbrush, roughly $200. Paint supplies are not too expensive, so I would say you can most probably get everything to start within $1200.
