A bit too slab sided but it's balanced and looks good on. The blue they have chosen is awesome.
Thanks for yet another installment of your excellent reviews, John. With regard to the Chronograph model, it is stunning that they included a lumed ceramic bezel insert, but a little confusing that there is no lume on the pointer of the chrono seconds hand, which would render its functionality as a chronograph in low light conditions crippled to non-existent. Nonetheless, for the price, it would be difficult to find a better finished watch.
Keep 'em coming, John, and before you know it, you'll be knocking on the door of 20,000 subscribers! 😃
Thanks Daniel. I wish that was the case. The algorithm has dropped the channel for the last couple of months. Went from 40 plus subs a day to just a handful but I have a long holiday coming up and it's time to change things up a bit ;)

Watchdives is making some super watches at the moment. I just received the 79090 with the snowflake dial an I'm very happy with it. I also bought the Fifty Fathoms homage which is also great value. I'm also thinking of picking up the Sharkmaster which wil make a nice trifecta of homages - FF, Sub & Seamaster 300 😃

I have that diver, same dial, people said the midcase is too thick and perhaps it is too thick being almost 14 mm in total, but on wrist? All fine!
Dark blue sunburst Daytona? Why does no one make that version? SMH!

Hi buddy. For the money the diver is excellent and it's balanced. Just a hair off the blockiness and it would be in my top ten. The Chrono is not my style but is also a budget belter 🤗😺
A beautifully filmed review, if I was running Watch Dives, I would put a link on their site, you made the chronograph look fantastic in the sun 😁. I've never been keen on these Rolex models and completely agree with your comment about the slab sides, but Molly kept me watching even though she is a very naughty girl!

Thank you for helping us make informed decisions. I already had the WD16500 in my cart since the choice sale, but renewed with your Ali affiliate link to get it during the soccer sale. I'm not really that interested in mechanical chronos, so for me it's mainly the look that attracts and why I will chose this one instead of getting a Sugess S418-2 that perhaps look a little prettier but cost lots more.

I bought the Watch Dives 5512 at a bargain prices of 50 dollars and to be honest I wasnt that impressed. Yep, the bezel is smooth and its well worth 50 bucks but i also got a sea koss mont blanc geosphere homage on the same day and the compass bezel is much nicer and its my daily wear right now..... the watch dives is going back tomorrow, it doesnt have anything that makes it worthy to keep in my collection of Heimdaller, Sugess and Sea Koss homages.
