I’ve just had that addiesdive 38mm delivered today along with a new clasp, great watch for the price. Would have liked the crown to be a little larger but not much to complain about.

Great choice. I have a couple of Addiesdive watches and I love them all. I still haven't pulled the trigger on the Addiesdive Explore but as far as a go anywhere do anything watch, that one is almost impossible to beat. I mean, it really boils down to an opinion at the end of the day because it's such a beautiful watch.

Thanks for these suggestions. I already have a white dial "field" with 24 hour inner marking plus day/date at 6 so looking more at the Berny titanium with minutes at the longer minute hand and hours at the shorter hour hand; hopefully also on sale. No doubt lume on the Addiesdive explorer is much better, but the "Air King" dial available on the Pagani feels to me like a must have...

I'm genuinely shocked at how different some of these watches appear in the marketing photos when compared to your own footage. Underwhelming was the word that came to mind the first time I saw the SN0113W. In your video its a different watch. Stunning. Maybe SM should be paying you to do all their marketing photos and videos.1

Good vid and good list. I really like all of them except the Proximas and and the last San Martin. Basically not a fan of the last four. LOVE the SN0113. It is in my most-worn over the last six months or so. I also have the GMT and both Addiesdives and another version of the automatic Addiesdive that is more like a Seiko SARB. I could happily live with any of those as my only watch. All very much GADAs. I also really like those Baltanys but I don't own any of them. The only Ali Express watch I really have my eye on is Corgeut Railmaster homage. Not a fan of the Corgeut brand in general but I'm really liking that one.
Can't convince myself to buy a watch with a lumed bezel, a bit overkill but the Proximas are beautiful especially with the PT5000. May have to make an exception for the white dialled version, handsome piece.

Hi Albert. Yeah this is the fun part. I enjoy it because I like looking for new watches and I was a buyer. The only thing is dealing with the trolls. I have been coping but I need a wee break because it's starting to get to me and I haven't taken a proper holiday since starting the channel 😐

Yeah. For every troll I get 6 good comments but when you are weary sometimes you don't see clearly. My wife and daughter do though and they recognise the signs :). Thx buddy 🙏
I have they San Martin “gada 1” as you called it in blue( which they’ve currently run out of) . It’s stunning and looks waay more expensive than it cost- £166 with no import duty ! 😊👍. Quality and a must buy gents.
I’m 🤞the addiesdive 2038 drops down a piece. Only c £60 though has crept up , it’s a smart looking distinctive watch that no one talks about = one YT reviewer.

Been keeping my eye on the Proxima PX1697 and was floating around £195. Seems like they increased to £215 just before the sale. Hoping with the coupons it is still a good deal!

Hi Anthony. I have had a couple on for unboxing. They are decent but the font is a bit of a let down. It's like a kids spy movie font! A real shame as they could be contenders with decent quality on show :).
Never got past un-boxings as there seemed to be no interest.

I just bought a watch from watching your review for the thorn 39mm pelegose homage with the Titanium bracelet and watch case. Nice and lightweight and my wrist is only a fraction of an inch different than yours. I am in the USA and appreciate you converting the prices from pounds to USD. I think these Chinese watches keep getting better and better. I actually like the PT5000. Maybe it is hit or miss. Hard to know about these Chinese movements that they clone from an ETA 2824

Oh hallelujah SM is finally using color matched date wheels. Ok, one more step to the big time - partner with Seagull for a bespoke, calibrated, decorated st2130 and then, well, swiss who? Also i have the px1703, being a Univ of Tn alum it gets a lot of weekend wrist time, great watch and crazy good lume and the 1697 in green fume, great folks to work with.

Always good reviews and a good selection but "Sales Fatigue" is a real risk couple of stand outs. the militado just for a nice looking field watch for the price of a dinner out and the Promixa is good enough to break through to the heart of the the most Jaded watch collector. Onwards to the next round!

I have the Pagani design y5005 Nh35. Theres a version 2 with the Nh35a ? I like it. It came in last sale at $74 Canadian so it had to be about $50US.

Which is the better watch in your opinion the San Martin SN0113W V2 or Ixdao engineer? Struggling to decide between the two.
Both are excellent. Two of the best watches you can buy on AliExpress. It comes down to your personal taste. Go with your gut 🙂
Went for San Martin in Blue after Ali express codes etc picked it up for £157 seemed a good price. Could have got the ixdao for £177 which was a great price too. Ultimately the small crown of the ixdao pushed me to the San Martin. Enjoy you reviews keep up the excellent work.

Oh btw I bought from diver watch factory store and got them to send a video of actual watch and check for accuracy? They sent timegrapher video of it running at plus 3 to 4 seconds per day. Hopefully takes the randomness out of what I receive.
You can never get fed up with GMTs, especially with snowflake hands etc. lol

Tandorio make nice looking watches, especially to modify bit they have very poor water resistance and cheaper crystals. Addiesdive have more experience and make better quality watches overall :)
I love the Addiesdive AD2112 especially being automatic at that price but following your link it's telling me that it can't be shipped to my country (uk!) 😔
All the other listing's are almost double the price. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

I got a Tandorio, the strap is questionable, the little strap holders don’t last long at all, very thin.
First lesson in watch collecting. Use your own heavy duty springbars. Usually the supplied springbars are sufficient only :)
You haven't even mentioned the best feature of that last San Martin watch mate. The milanese straps come with an excellent clasp. On-the-fly adjustment but still very compact.

No apologies necessary Alex. This one's on me. The comments I made last week were pretty spot on. This year has been an absolute ****. I haven't had such a run. A deliberate eBay takedown attempt and then Ali deducting 10 percent of my hard earned income was just the nail in it. I know I have to take a break when my wife and daughter are saying I should. They are right :)
It truly is a shame that no one reviews watches that are over 40mm anymore. I guess phases are phases and this tiny watch phase will soon pass like the ginormous watch phase did a few years back....
I do go bigger sometimes but I am restricted with my wrist shape and size. Sorry you don't enjoy the content 😞
@johnswatchjoint I do enjoy the content, it's just that all the watch reviewers seem to be trending this way and the reviews should be able to include watches of all sizes. Like us guys come in all sizes.
I'm glad you like the content but RUclips being RUclips you find that if you review watches outside your wrist size it draws pretty awful comments from people who just want to instigate. I did so in the past and it just gets in the way. I remember doing a pilot watch review and the trolls were out in numbers so I am sorry I will stick pretty much to what I know I can pull off :)
