Thanks for this review, John. I just got mine in the blue color way and I have to agree with everything you’ve said about this watch. Really special one from San Martin. This is my third San Martin and the best one yet (and I love my first two, both are still in regular rotation). But totally agree with your question as to why this watch isn’t getting more attention online as it’s simply fantastic and incredible value for money. Highly recommended. If you’re on the fences with this one, go for it!! So happy I did.

I bought the Seiko Land Tortoise SRPH15K1 - The Hulk as some call it. An absolutely cracking watch. The green dial and bezel is stunning, the size and thickness perfect and that cushion case…a sensational piece and great value for what I paid.

That's very thick. The thickness of the original Elgin A-11 was only 13mm.

Just got my original 1970 with the updated clasp and it is perfect QC and the bezel perfectly aligned - so happy with it for the price.

I have 3 steeldives and each one is perfect. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Nice review there John. I used your JWJ15 promo code and the final bill was £210 for the Wine Red option. My only concern was the 36mm case size, but we're similar wrist sizes and it looks great on wrist in the vid.

Very nice watch and I've been after a yellow/orange coloured watch for a while but I have been leaning toward an RZE. Tempted though.
