Today I make an announcement.
After 2 years of building the channel, its time to take a break.
It will be longer than you might expect but 3 weeks will be taken up with a family holiday and the rest is for me to get fit and reflect before moving the channel further forward
............so I will be back :)
I wish to thank all of you for your continued support and I hope you are still here when I return.
Without you this channel would not be possible and this great community would not exist.
I am truly grateful and humbled :)

Enjoy your break John. The trouble with us oldies is we still think we are 18. But the brain and body know the score and soon let us know when it's time to take a break before something gives. Says me who has been for the past week ripping up an old lawn and prepping to start again. Nah we will never learn. 8 months to go and its pension time , yes I'm for sure a bloody oldie. I’m sorry for all the difficulty you have had to deal with. People will always be people. Some good, some bad. Although it seems the bad side is winning lately. Take care of yourself and your family, and we will all be here when you return. I’m not sure if this will work, but I’ve always had lower back issues (since I was in high school), and I use this little device called the Low Bak Trax. For me it actually works. It’s only around $50, and if you order through Amazon, you can just return it if it doesn’t work. Anyway, take care Brother! Thanks for all the great content!

Didn’t know all the troubles you had been facing (heard about the back problems and such, but seems you really deserve the break, really!).
I confess that when you showed your face I was a little surprised because I did think that you where younger, but never thought of unsubscribing or stop watching your content. I’m “around” your age and think that it’s fenomenal that blokes like us can have a crack at producing and getting YT content out there, no matter if younger or older people might enjoy it.

enjoy your family holiday John. I started this "hobby" a few months ago and found your channel. Try to ignore the negative and ignorant people, your channel and content are both great. Plus you're Scottish which is huge! .... I went to Dundee University and lived in Perth for 5 years after before coming back to Ireland.
