I know some out in the RUclipsr watch community decry these sorts of "I'm watching these watches" videos as deceptive, saying that the video creators are doing a disservice when they highlight watches they haven't actually handled, but I disagree. I love these videos, as I don't always have the budget for a purchase, but I like to keep up on what's out there. These videos at least let me know what's available, and once I identify possible watches for purchase, I can then search for comprehensive reviews. Thanks for producing these, and keep them coming!
Thanks buddy. I have handled and reviewed the first six and one of the last three is incoming so technically only two were in that category but I also know Hruodland make excellent watches. A lot of the comments I've gotten have been trying to undermine it, saying the glass is mineral and it's average. The way they asked me to please say the specifications right was heartwarming. It's a pretty neat small watch from a kind brand... And their first watch too 🤯

@@johnswatchjoint You compared an Octopus Kraken and a Baltany watch side by side and highlighted the quality standard of both. My point is that it's no wonder as I believe they are sister brands which means both could come from the same factory. Sorry for the confusion 😅
I think watches of all sizes can be worn by any one. I prefer 36 to 38 mm on my wrist as they are more comfortable but now and again you get watches that are much larger but still don't feel large ..like the Wayfarer chronograph I just reviewed. My daughter is slim and wears a 40mm watch...that's her preference. Each to their own I say 🤗
It's a newer movement than the NH35 and well known brands such as Orient use it. The movement on the fume dialed Zezame is spot on timed over two days on the wrist.
No probs...I have more watches than I can throw a stick at just now....since I came back from my break suppliers are asking for reviews in numbers...even had to turn some down as I don't have enough hours! Not complaining, I just need Mols to pick up the pace haha 😆
Very nice. That’s a terrific start. All very excellent! I never thought there would come a day I would disagree with you. I actually like the SN0144 over the SN0129. Although I’m not a huge fan of the jade dials. I understand the heritage behind it, but I’m pretty boring so a nice gray or silver dial would be great. Haha...I can see a visit to A & E being a thing. The great thing about being individuals is that if we are honest and grown up...we can absolutely disagree. I really don't like the new San Martin at all. When it was announced but hadn't seen any pics I was intrigued but when I saw it I just thought eeeeurgh. There's always the next one haha 😂
Retro watches and sizes are now the in thing and I'm happy about that. For too long we've been stuck with very large watches. Roll on flared jeans haha!

Hi buddy, unfortunately I won't get it. I just don't like it at all and the male end links don't make sense. Why make it thin and then kill it for smaller waisted guys? They asked us in the Chinese Watches forum on Reddit for our thoughts. We all said female end links....we were ignored 😒

I've taken the plunge and bought the San Martin in deep blue and have taken a bit of a risk with the burgundy faced Baltany (might be a bit too blingy for me, but we'll see). I do like the Octopus Kraken as though so it may be a good alternative to the Baltany. Cheers mate

Baltany have been pressured into putting a logo on their crowns for a long time. Perhaps they want to identify a more premium line with a logo as well. You have to test things in the market to see how consumers react

Great advice! Usually do all of my own research in any case as none of the reviewers on RUclips seem to feature watches over 40mm. I appreciate 36-39 is the trend atm but I much prefer the look of a 41/42 on my wrist. It just means I can’t support channels by using affiliate links. Hey ho!

My sister and daughter wear 36mm, this choices will make great gifts for the females in my life.

The Baltany look better than the Octopus Kraken on account of the J-style 5 link bracelet. Just look classier on a dressed style watch.

Why did Baltany but the “B” at 12 o’clock? You already put your names on the dial, leave the index at 12. Idk why some companies do things like that.

I do a mix but unfortunately my wrist is small and I tend to wear 36 to 40mm watches. Bigger than that is just silly on my wrist ,😒
