Today we are looking at my AliExpress Haul Video from purchases made towards the end of April 2024.
Most who are new to AliExpress are always asking:

These watches are from brands that are trusted to bring you quality at prices starting from as little as $70 in this instance... though there are a couple of big hitters too!

Since I discovered AliExpress and RUclips reviews, Reddit - I've not looked at buying from Swiss, German or Japanese mainstream brands (except Casios). And JWJ channel is one of my favourites.

Thanks as always John. I think I’ve said this before, but Chinese Watches today are like Japanese cars during the 70’s and 80’s. No one really took them seriously, but look at them now... All great choices and looking forward to the full reviews! And nothing is better than getting something better than the photos! Thanks!

@@edwardfletcher7790 Are you talking about Chinese Watches or Japanese Cars? I definitely agree Chinese Watches has a long ways to go, but they are certainly getting there.
One thing to keep in mind. They manufacture for the Asian market, thus the brand names. They are now recognising the importance of the western market and are starting to adjust i.e Proxima :)

That’s like saying that you’re overpaying for clothes because you can buy $1 tshirts.
@nikchris69 those $1.00 t-shirts aren't giving you better cotton than the $40.00 shirts though. These brands can give sapphire crystal for how cheap they are, but seiko, citizen, bulova can't give you a sapphire crystal on $400.00 watches.
You gave a really piss poor example.
I've been searching for a watch that gives me that special feeling wearing it.... I found that watch in the SM lapus lazuli dial 😮
It's stunning, and I feel like a champion wearing it. That's my recommendation for any sale.

The Ixdao is more a black Pelagos than BB homage. Suits me as I much prefer that design. All 2824 clones are “legal” as that movement is LONG out of any sort of patent or copyright. Would love to see Thorn offer their Pelagos in black like this…

Aliexpress is a blessing. We get to try out so many watch styles that in such a short amount of time I’ve developed a taste for specific looks and sizes that suite me the best.

Unfortunately all of these will get moved on. I sold my whole collection to buy 5 choice pieces. I have 2 with 3 on the way. I had a small collection before starting the channel but reviewing watches exploded it out of control and it had to stop!

I often struggle with supplied straps on AE, would be nice if they offered a larger option....the san martin is the pick of the bunch or would be if it was the white dial....overall a cracking wee selection....🏴⌚🏴⌚

I'm thinking of getting a Black Bay 58 but would like to try one on what do you think is the best Homage that you've seen ? I might get one to see how i like it before buying the real thing.
If you look back at my content I've done many a review on BB58 and Pelagos homages. There are a lot of good ones on AliExpress. Really you just have to find out for yourself what feels most comfortable on your wrist. Everyone is different and my view is just that. Good luck 😉...For me it was probably the San Martin SN004 6200 retro V2 but the Thorn was cheaper and I also liked it...but they wear differently and not like the original :)

Depending on when the video was released there will be differences daily.
If only I hadn't bought my first Kickstarter watch in which I get it until July hopefully I'd be certainly buy another Chinese watch.

Hi there. I reviewed it recently and I was surprised...and very unimpressed. It's not a patch on the previous T2576MS. Personally I would avoid it. I had to return mine. Very poor Lume, terrible printing and squint text on the dial :(

Oooh that is very subjective. For me it would still be with the San Martin SN0136-G GMT in green or the San Martin / Watchdives collaboration which is the SN0113W-V2 but there are some bloody good cheap divers too and the Seestern 62mas is still a stunner at around £100 ;)

Chinese watches are projected to di 19.2 billion dollars this year. Ever Ali Express over 12 dozen all arrived to Canada and nothing but minor problems in QC ever occured, nothing that requires a return. I've had good luck with Addiesdive Cadison and Pagani moonwatch homage for example .
My limit is $200 Canadian.

You talked about 5 watches, not really about AliExpress. What is buying from that site like, have you ever been scammed from it, do you recommend it, how to apot genuine sellers and reviews?
If you look back across my channel reviews you will see that AliExpress is not the scam-pot it's claimed to be. The truth as it were was that there are five watches here that represent excellent value for money. I have purchased over 200 watches on the platform and have not once lost out. There are a few good reviewers out there ( including me) who tell it like it is . Not all watches are created equal.

Just make sure you purchase from stores that have good reviews and it's always good if the store has a free return policy. You may pay a fraction more but that will alleviate any issues. The links I provide are from sellers I have bought from and can recommend 🙂
