If I'm ever n ur area tyka,I wud luv 2 meet u ...I'm a 100% prince supporter..I remember he said he didn't like the term "fan" bc it's short 4 "fanatic"..i 1st heard of prince through a friend n high school (around 1981)..he kept talkin bout "do me,baby" he wud even try & sing it but he couldn't hit those falsetto notes..lmbo...its amazing bc that same day I heard "do me,baby" on the radio but b4 the dj played it he said,"I can't play all of it bc prince "cums" n the song....tyka,wen I heard the little bit he did play,it was like wen I heard "the show" by "doug e fresh"..I frkn lost my mind...I did find my mind on the floor after losing it...lol...& frm that day on,I been a supporter.."sign o the times" is my favorite. ."it's gonna b a beautiful night" is my jam!!!then "1999,p-rain,unda the cherry moon,4-u,emancipation(friend lover sister mutha wife is my favorite off that cd),& the list goes on & on till the brk of dawn...GENIUS!!!& the song "GOD!!!"mymymy..his voice range was incredibly incredible...erotic city is the bomb...& I think my favorite b-sides "it's gonna b a beautiful night" is "she's always in my hair"..wish I could hav met him like millions of other ppl..."P.I.R." Wow i can't imagine Prince getting into fights growing up,😁 loved how he was practicing his signature at a young age preparing for his fame one day that came t true, he already knew and claimed it! Lovely stories, really appreciate Tyka sharing them. God bless Tykaand hope Prince is resting in sweet heavenly peace. miss that beautiful man.

You notice that at age 7 he said he was GOING to be famous. She said she WANTED to be. The same way Oprah says when she was a little girl she KNEW she was going to have a better, and different life than her poor upbringing.

Really enjoyed listening to Tyka talk about their earlier years. She has received so many nasty comments since Prince's death and listening to some of her interviews I personally think she comes across very genuine and that she really loved her brother.

Dana - Prince's speaking VOICE was intoxicating.....LOL...and his singing voice, of course, is the best of all time. So, it stands to reason that his sister has a nice voice, too. I just glaze over when I watch him in interviews; his deep voice; I could listen to it on repeat mode for the rest of my life. :-)

I was always under the impression that Prince and Tyka weren't very close. Just before he died there was some media hype asking the public should he pay for Tyka's rehab after doing it previously before. We never saw Tyka in pictures with Prince, bonding, I wonder if she has some?
Hector Adams Tyka was close to Prince. She was at the Piano and Microphone concert in Jan.months before he passed. He given her plenty of shout outs when he was in concert.
@@kiasky1 he referred to her as “estranged” in the memoir he was working on around the time he died. that should settle that debate. her being at one of his last shows - does not indicate they were close.

Prince was able to get his sister through drug abuse but could not face his own. He was an incredibly strong person mentally and his unwillingness to get help will puzzle me until the day I die.

Prince was struggling with addiction. I doesn't change our love for him. Nothing else was wrong I don't believe. If he told her he was going to die it was probably under the influence and not to be taken seriously. When he gave her that call or when had cardiac arrest and had to be revive d. A good sister would have went there and beat down the doors and made sure he was safe. If he was sick with an illness same thing. There is a big disconnect / lies being told to cover up what you and Londell Mcmillian cooked up. Just like he positioned himself to get the million dollars for the phone license. He wanted it to be a museum and he knew it would take money to do that so there was a will just what did you do with it. I know he didn't hate you. You jus was not apart of his life. If you worked for him why did he have an assistant. Truth reveals everything. Prince was a business man and would never let this happen. When the will eventually surfaces all y'all will have egg on your faces. Go shopping now you could use some new clothes. Take your husband along he could use a few new suits. I hope none of you see a dime. Cus none of y'all had been there for him when desperately needed the love of family

She's so silly, she acts like the interviewer was making a claim about the kitchen table when she only said she could "imagine" that it was the kitchen table. Boy, bitterness can sure make rude and unhappy.
