I'm so happy that I saw him at MSG on 12/28/12,it was a concert I'll never forget.He brought Cyndi Lauper and Janelle Monet on stage with him,the show started around 7:30 and we didn''t get out until after 1 am

i know! it still seems unreal to me because it was like one mi. her was on stage performing and the next her is gone. i have been a prince fan since i was very little and when i heard the news i was just in plain shock and disbelief.
tp3457 ...I love Prince, we thought he was going to live forever because he always looked good. I love that man. A lot of choices I made in life Was because of his music and words. Whenever I felt down, sad, and lonely? I would always listen to his music. I have had a lot of death in my life to deal with. But I will always turn to prince's music.
I think with MJ, unfortunately, you could kind of see it coming. He wasn't active musically, was not performing, and people inside his camp saying he had been struggling for years with painkillers, and physically, was breaking down. Worse, mentally, he was pressured, lawsuits, Sony wanting that Catalog, and by any means necessary, they got it. Prince on the other Hand, was constantly making music, performing, and mentoring so many young Artists. Looking back now, He didn't look right those last couple of months, and Prince was so private until the very end. However, ironic that his music catelog, also now belongs in the hands of his former music label.
Took me 3 whole days before I even watched the news. My heart and mind would not allow me to face the truth

I can't think of a better way for his family, friends and fans around the world to remember him than to visit his home studios in Chanhausen, then to do it with that over riding purpose. To learn and appreciate the music, and the craft. He even once said that possibly, with out funding, learning music and playing music as a career would slowly slip away and be out of reach for so many young ones coming up. So what you suggested would be the ultimate way to pay homage to one of the world's greatest entertainers and musicians.

Prince looked like he was still in his early 30`s for the most part even though he was not a young man . Sheila and all the rest have aged and look their ages and they look decades older than Prince.... He must have really taken good care of himself or he actually found the fountain of youth.

i hope they do turn paisley park into a museum... i've been saying that for years about neverland ranch... i went to graceland once and it is really cool but also very respectful, right down to the gift shop. it's all about celebrating elvis' amazing legacy, and i'd love to see something similar done with prince's beautiful home and all his pop history artifacts.
i hope any musical tribute decides to tour, i'd love to come see it, share our grief.
Plus it's just a waste to tear down these beautiful, unique sanctuaries to out up a Starbucks or whatever. All those amazing one-of-a-kind instruments, artworks, awards, costumes, etc. Better to keep then together.

Shiela has stabbed Prince in the back. She wrote a excerpt into that book Mayte sold. She had a butterfly added onto Princes famous unpronounceable glyph . Prince had that glyph patented and copyrighted so no one could mass produce it for sales except himself. When she added the butterfly that got her around the legal issues. Now she sales T Shirts and hats with the glyph on them. She's been on to many talk shows , gets paid for speaking , telling everyone he once ask her to marry. Yep! Old friends for sale.! Shiela smiling all the way to the bank. I'm pissed that she hustled his personal glyph. .

She has pretty much stole that glyph , by having a butterfly added to it , that gets her around princes copy rights and patent he had put on it. You can tell she wasnt herself in this video from how the way she was speaking. You hear the brokenness in her voice she really did love him even when they broke up in the late 80s they always had that love for each other no matter what happened. And in my opinion i think his death hit her the most out of everybody she been there since day one lets be real now...

Sheila Syms It's now 3 days before Maytes book comes out & just before the 1st anniversary of his death. I read a small excerpt in People magazine and immediately had to close it because the detail she gave in that little bit were so graphic that I felt really offended for Prince and I would never buy her book. As for his second wife she was a gold digger and I remember when she divorced him sued him and tried to take him for everything he had and just recently she tried to fight their divorce documents being unsealed but the judge did anyway and they show their lavish lifestyle and princes response to her filing when they got divorced that that was their life of then and that he had earned all of that but since they were getting divorced he was willing to make a settlement with her but not give her half of everything so in my book she's dirt. in addition I remember on The Ex-wives show with Mayte that she and Manuela are friends (she came on the show). Mayte stated that only someone else who was married to Prince would understand all about him. Manuela got a lot in the divorce & Mayte did not. like I said that in hindsight she thinks Prince was on drugs and tried to hide it from her during the time they were married that years later someone from Paisley told her that he asked them to burn everything that had to do with her and the baby made it seem like Prince was being hateful when in truth I firmly believe that he was something in pain and never got over it. any person that knows anything about Prince of specially those that really loved him and his music knows that he was a very private person and what might he opened up his whole life to the world and showed it everything and then to have the tragedy of their son dying and then their marriage falling apart I'm sure was beyond difficult because after that he was never that open again about his personal life. for the record Sheilas book was out before Prince died. Miayte also is not being fair at all because she knew him in the nineties she never got to know the man that he evolved into being after what I guess I call his spiritual awakening and his search for the truth about God and the man he became the better man that he clearly became that's so many people genuinely loved well beyond his music before the person that he was the goodness of his heart and his generosity and not wanting credit for anything so I think it's unfair for her to only focus on that and make it seem like there was something wrong with him.
