Excellent Knowledge thank you so much. I have struggled for years to get a good vocal mix so maybe with this and practice I can now do it.

Hey George, all of your videos are the clearest, and easiest to understand and put into place effectively that I've seen. Thank you so much for all the information.

Fantastic George - I now don’t go anywhere else for help with Logic. Do you have a vid on the very basics of the eq plug in which included how to select the various frequencies, control the bandwidth etc? I’m still at the fumbling stage on those very basics. Thank you.

Thanks Gary, I'm glad you've found the videos helpful. I don't have a dedicated video for the Channel EQ functions just yet, but that's a good idea. I'll post back here once I've created it. I'll to try and answer your questions here in the meantime though. There are two ways to change the parameters in the Channel EQ. At the bottom of the Channel EQ you'll see 3 sets of numbers for each EQ band. The top number is the frequency. You can click and drag up/down to increase or decrease that number which will then adjust the frequency selected. The middle number adjusts the gain. Click and drag up/down to boost or cut the selected frequency. And lastly, the bottom number controls the Q. This controls how wide of a cut or boost you're making. Again drag up/down to change how wide or narrow your boost or cut will be.
The other way of changing these 3 parameters is to click and drag on one of the coloured dots that corresponds to a particular frequency. Click and drag side to side to adjust the frequency. Up/down to adjust the gain. And you'll notice lines on the left and right of the coloured dots which allows you to widen or narrow the Q.
I hope that makes sense and helps clear some things up.
      Cheers!
      Georges
