I'd never use it to instead of a real singer, but I have seen it used by someone commissioned to write a song for project. They used it to create a work vocal track while building up the rest of the tune. So for a work vocal be real handy to get idea of what finish project will sound like while working.

Great content! Question, when I use the option key and hold it just turns my pointer into the marquee and instead of allowing me to drag. Any ideas? I'm sure there is a setting I'm missing.

I followed your instruction and tried to connect a electric piano with MIDI ports to my Logic Pro on Macbook. However, I don't see choices like 'Audio input 1+2' when I try to select audio input. There's only 'none' and 'surround'. I did see 'Audio Output 1+2' and I selected it. When I select the electric piano as midi destination and start recording on Logic Pro, I can see that the track is being recorded but when I play it, sound only comes out from the electric piano, not from my computer. How can I fix this? I've tried two types of MIDI cables (MIDI in-out and MIDI-USB) and things didn't change,

what if i only have 2 or 4 processing threads ? i don’t see 16

As soon as I switch over to the multi channel device on my daw, I get the playback audio from my daw captured but then I have no inputs working on my interface(komplete audio 1). Totally defeats the purpose of using my daw for the effects on the mic.

I'm doing exactly as you are doing but when I switch the vocoder to "voc" for the signal i don't hear anything at all (yes it is side-chained to my vocal bus) :(

That guy's voice sounds like the dude from The Flaming Lips sometimes when he's ending a phrase. I like it .. That lyric reminds me of a Ben's Fold Five tune where he says something like "I loved you before I met you .. yada yada" .. I like the human playing better .. It's simpler and less fiddly .. It's always been a problem I had with Logic's Drummer .. The fills , no matter how simple you managed the settings .. It was still doing fills like some Jazz trained drummer would do. You'd use a drummer like the 'Punk' guy .. and he'd be doing all kinds of flipplity flappity complicated patterns. I bought a set of e drums just so I didn't have to fight with that plugin anymore. I think this stuff is great for getting started and inspired on some ideas and what not .. but as far as finished arrangements .. Na .. still sounds canned to me. It's still awesome software and it's getting more convincing though. I like this indie kinda country fused rock stuff .. reminds me of stuff from the 70s like Bread or something chill like that. Bread gets lumped into that soft rock AM radio genre, but really those guys were astounding musicians and song writers. Bread rocked.

Studio One can import any chords from audio or use chordpad. This solution is better thany other DAW's chord tracks.

I have multiple tracks, each having multiple takes. How to I set all the tracks to the same take. There is 5 drums takes and 10 tracks Kicki, snare, high hat etc. I can do them individually, but how to set all at the same time?
