I was wondering: is there a way that you can time stretch in such a way that instead of it effecting the audio both to the right and the left of the time point, it instead pulls (or pushes) the end of the track along with the time point, so that the audio to the right remains unchanged? I hope this makes sense.
If I understand your question correctly, make sure you create flex markers before and after the area you want to change. This will stop everything else from shifting as well. I hope that makes sense. Cheers Georges

How to solve midi time out problem
Can you describe your issue a bit more? Are you trying to send MIDI out of Logic Pro to an external MIDI device?
Not once you mention about vocal , you went tru from monophonic ,polyphonic, Auto , srtipe slicing ! so where is the Vocal???
