Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania ends with two end-credit scenes that give us major setups for Avengers Kang Dynasty and Loki Season 2. We meet several Kangs in the Dynasty including Immortus, Pharaoh Rama Tut, and Victor Timely, and finally learn their relationship with the Sacred Timeline and the coming Incursions. Erik Voss breaks down these scenes to explain how they connect to the past Multiversal War, He Who Remains and the TVA, even who currently owns Avengers Tower in the MCU!

It's amazing how Loki has ended up being the anchor character for both of the big bads in the MCU! Loki was the first to encounter Thanos and now the first to interact with a form of Kang.

Kang is not the same person. Oscar Issac portrayed Multiple Characters because of Dissociative Identity Disorder just like Kevin Wendell Crumb in Split and Glass. Kang are Variants that look like He Who Remains from the Loki Season 1 Finale.

Jonathan Majors has highjacked the character, Kang, and has made it his own. He has secured his role in the Marvel Universe and will be irreplaceable. Has has such presence that he rarely needs to speak at all and when he does, you know it's important. Totally awesome and I cannot wait to see where he takes this character next.

Kang the Conqueror was an absolute menace I really hope he comes back. The one scene where he just went crazy on the quantumrealm people was sick
Was he? Like people hyped him up like he was Thanos … and he isn’t. I was truly worried for characters everytime Thanos was on screen. I don’t see Kang the same way.

He got exiled to the there for a reason he really can’t use his powers there he can’t control the time that’s why he wants to leave it’s a prison for him
I honestly like the Idea of each Avenger fight a Variant of Kang, not realizing there's multiple Kangs, Each Avenger fights, and beats their Kang, Loki shows up, explains that "Hey there's an Army of Kang's and their all set on War" but I feel like nobody would believe him, especially since Thor witnesses Thanos kill him, Everyone would just think that Loki is being Loki, but then 1 kang shows up, and each Avenger is like, well, we all beat a Kang, whats another one, but this Kang beats the Avengers Senseless

The Kang from Antman went to the probability realm. There he’ll multiply, they’ll work together, and he’ll create the true “Kang Dynasty” with all versions of himself.

But the "duplicate" Kangs can't be materialized. They're just probabilities of the original Kang. The least he could do is brainstorm with the other probability clones and that's about it.

I think the scene with the three Kangs was about them finding out that Loki/Sylvie killed He Who Remains. The shot of the multiversal mess that was made looks like the same shot from the ending of Loki.
No they clearly stated the Exiled one was killed meaning Kang who was not in Loki.

I am calling it now. By the time the Multiverse Saga comes to a close; I think Jonathan Majors will be the REAL star of this entire saga. I expect he will even possibly get a standing ovation like RDJ and Chris Evans at the end of Endgame.

I did not expect Quantumania to be this good. The early news of low ratings really helped to elevate my experience watching this fantastic movie.
The most underrated marvel movie if you ask me, I loved every second of it and it absolutely did not deserve the mixed reviews.

Jonathan Majors acting skills remind me of Oscar Isaac and how well they're able to portray different versions of the same characters so uniquely. If Oscar wasn't cast as Moon Knight, he would've been a great and very intimidating Kang.

Oscar wouldn’t haven’t been as intimidating or great as Majors playing Kang. We woulda excepted it if that’s all we knew but now that we’ve seen both. Oscar just don’t fit the Kang mold.

It's definitely marvel by the numbers, but they have an esthetic that you like or you don't. Majors chews up every scene he's in and Rudd was awesome as usual. MODOK got laughs in the theatre, and was fun to see in live action
I loved Jonathan majors and thought he was extremely menacing . That variant probably isn’t dead. The comedy worked for me and Janet kinda being a neutral figure as opposed to a hero was interesting as well. Only part I didn’t care for was modoks heel turn.

I was extremely impressed with how Jonathan Majors differentiated his portrayals of all the different Kang variants. It’s hard enough to play one or two characters, but doing that many, doing them all differently, and doing it well takes a lot of work. Mad respect
Victor Timely is HWR (He who remains) before he set up the tva. Loki and mobius are looking for the variant who would later become hwr, as the tva timeline has been reset with the death of hwr. This concurrently means that hwr is also resurrected as the multiversal war will happen all over again in which all kang variants including victor timely before he was hwr will participate in. That’s why hwr said “you kill me here, and an infinite amount of me start another multiversal war and I end up back here again anyways.” No matter how many multiversal wars happen it will always be victor timely/hwr who will end it through alioth and prune all the timelines and establish the tva, as he is the only kang variant who saw that the only way to stop the war was to conquer all of the timelines. He had a certain wisdom over the other kang variants, and even though hwr had been killed, an infinite amount of Nathaniel richards still exist in the sacred timeline who later become their respective variants, including victor timely/ hwr. That’s why Loki and mobius are looking for him so that they can find and guide victor timely to become hwr and stop the multiversal war. The tva timeline is reset so all the memories of everyone have been wiped that’s why mobius didn’t recognise Loki at the end of season 1. Keep in mind that when the tva was first formed, hwr kidnapped and brainwashed variants to be his investigators, to actively establish the tva. Once it was up and self sustainable, all he had to do was prune all the timeline into one sacred timeline and reset everyone’s memories again and replace the kang statue of himself with the timekeeper statues and hide away as hwr. The exact same will happen again if Loki and mobius don’t make victor timely set up the tva the right way, that is preventing incursions and multiversal wars while allowing free will

I hope kang isn't actually dead. Kang was exiled because the others feared him. For him to lose that easy was pretty disappointing.
yh a bit of inconsistency in the plot, its like they purposely nerfed kang just to ‘balance’ the fight like how was kang literally vaporising people out of thin air and is supposedly doesnt work on the main characters, they even said he ‘deletes’ universes so how does it make sense, marvel needs to honestly pick it up

I wondered how the Kang variants would look relative to how they do in the comics, gotta say I'm impressed with all of them. Particularly love Rama-Tut.
Literally the first scene with Kang had me sold. Majors is so good and this is definitely a top 2 post endgame movie for me. Can’t wait to see more of Kang!
Jonathan Majors DEFINITELY carried this movie but all in all, I had a really fun time watching and it got me excited for phase 5
I thought this was a great film that really set up what’s to come. That’s what it is meant to do. Everyone griped about phase 4 not setting anything up but now they fuss that a film set up the future!!!!

@@nickc9070 yes he's one of many Kang, and the reason why he created TVA because to exile them from timeline, thats why he created one timeline, his own timeline so other Kangs cannot escape. any timeline branch can makes kangs come out, since they come different timeline.
he didn't defeat all of them, he just stopping his other self born from different timeline, remember creating different choice can create different timelines. thats why TVA exist to stope them 'making their own choice", He Who Remains decided universe choice so different timeline didn't exist.

When he talked of other Kangs, he's referring to their inevitable, perpetual chaos and destruction compared to his (eventual) single peaceful timeline control after defeating them. Eventual. After he weaponized Aliath to conquer them, take over the citadel, possibly betray 3 others, then settle down after his own destructive reign getting there, and continuing to kill to prune.
Hungry implies a Conquerer. Lokis want to conquer. Takes two of the hungriest best Loki's to fill He Who Remains shoes.
Kang in Quantum Realm seems the hungriest. That makes me think he is who remains.
Victor doesn't seem hungry enough. He'd also need to have a certain type of character to say.. no more free will for people and keep killing to prune.
My bet would be on Victor maybe being crucial to invent or understand TVA, but Kang Conquer takes control.
But why would Morbius not recognize Victor Timely as the giant statue at the TVA?

Maybe the TVA was broken apart as a result of killing Him Who Remains? I’ve been wondering about Loki’s S1 ending all this time. I still don’t understand what it meant… because as far as I had understood, there was only one TVA for the entire multiverse. So my guess is that it was split? Otherwise it wouldn’t make sense, considering how time works in the MCU. So my only guess is that the TVA where Mobius works for, doesn’t have the giant Kang statue

The 3 kangs are talking about the beyonders when saying they. I think Kang will become even more powerful through the probability storm, I hope to see a lot of the origin of Kang to make it clear exactly who he is and where he's from originally.
Just watched Quantumania few hours ago, I'm really hyped for Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars when they face off with the Kang variants, it's gonna be crazy!
I'm really hoping that in kang dynasty all the avengers will split off into separate times and moonknight and a couple of others will go back to the Egyptian Times to face rama Tut while others will go to fight others
Secret Wars variant must be The Beyonder as one of the Kangs and doing a mix of the Original saga and Doom's job in the recent one
So you think the Beyonder is disguised as a kang? Hard to tell if they will implement the beyonder into the mcu. But secret wars(both versions) was always about beyonders. So they can’t really tell secret wars with out the Beyonders, as they need his omnipotent power for the main villain (which should be doctor doom) to be able to create battleworld and rule as a god.

It has always been Kang the Conqueror all along. How can they ever be truly sure that Kang will be truly defeated when there are so many of them. I hope they will have Oscar Isaacs return as the Moon Knight as he has always been a classic foil to Kang the Conqueror.

"Future Kang" is more likely to be Kang Prime.
Rama Tut told the ancient Egyptians to worshop him as a god and turn away from the old gods and to build statues and monuments to him. So, naturally that would piss off Khonshu and he sent his avatar and champion, the Moon knight, to take him down.

I think that the "Future Kang" variant is a version of Iron Lad. Especially considering the animosity they hinted at for Kang Prime, the fact that he has no face scars, and he seems younger than the other variants.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe aged up a little though. Jonathan Majors is amazing as all these different versions of Kang but I don't think he even he is capable of passing for a 16 year old Iron Lad. Surely they'll cast younger when they introduce the young version of Iron Lad. Which one assumes they will at some point. If everything is heading towards Kang Dynasty maybe during Rhodey's journey trying to make sure there isn't any Stark tech flying around out there he bumps into Iron Lad which is what brings him back into the main storyline headed for Secret Wars.

This movie actually made me pretty excited for future MCU films which so far Phase 4 films have failed to do mostly. It's amazing that 2026 will end the multiverse saga. It's so close yet so far.

Kang is super calculated, Scott and Hope beat him but if hes stuck in a probability field I bet it doesn't effect him the way it did Scott.
I like how Kang aim straight to Scott's helmet so he won't be able to shrink during the fight
The Temporal Marvel machine's shape reminded me of the Project Pegasus machine that held the Tesseract at the beginning of Avengers 1, the one Loki entered Earth from.

Nobody ever talks about this but in all honesty it seems like he who remained was Iron Lad. It kinda fits after all he is trying to prevent his variants from emerging. The version we saw in season 1 of Loki seemed much more like Iron Lad wanting to avoid becoming like his adult self.

The end credits for Kang Dynasty should be a variant of Kang watching the movie and leaving the theater.
I'm telling you, Kang has always been in the MCU, setting things up so that his birth and becoming Kang will be set in stone! It's what he did in the comics, and it'll be amazing if they did it in the MCU!

okay i dont think loki season two is gonna be the story of the TVA but a play on the "time to kill" storyline where loki and mobius decide which variant of kang to kill first (since they have free reign through the multiverse). i think it's gonna set up an unannounced movie bc I don't see a disney plus series setting up an avengers movie.

Basically. They killed the only Kang who would be on the avengers side. But at the same time his death triggered the kang war. So.. yeah they done messed up. But if it gets me andrew tom and toby again. I can take that sacrifice.

This movie was pretty good, pretty sure everyone's just trashing it because they want justification for not liking Marvel films lol like they did with Eternals.

Every Jonathan Majors movie going forward is just him playing a Kang variant to me. Starting with Creed 3
It felt like a preview to Creed III when he gave Scott the three piece combo with a biscuit! I’m definitely rooting for him when I see Creed III!!! 😂

I hope that the Kangs stay after the Multiversal Saga, because Kang is *NOT* a "one-and-done" villain, and it would be great to have an enemy who can come back and it would make sense.
Majors has it easy for an Oscar, they gonna ask for his resume of works he’s gonna be like “I’ve played every possible character: me as a conqueror, pharaoh, scientist, robot etc ”

I give the movie a 6 or 7 out of 10. It was fun…i just never reached peak enjoyment
They needed a script doctor to punctuate some of the scenes with more or better humor. And not having Luis was criminal.

What if? The three Kangs weren’t referring to Kang the conquerors death but He who remains! They where very vague about about who killed who.
jonathan majors is such an amazing actor to pull off so many different characters and personalities. it is just insane to me that he can actually do this.

I curious to see if the Kang we meet in Quantumania will end up as Victor Timely. And as Voss theorizes he could be hiding out in the early 1900, building a army of TVA Agents preparing to make a return in Kang Dynasty.
