Why is no one talking about how the prisoner that Red Guardian broke the arm of is Ursa Major!? Powers realised or not he is the Bear Mutant! Mutants are official MCU canon guys! (not including Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver ofc)
2016 is the biggest year in the MCU: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Homecoming, Black Widow and Black Panther. Biggest as in most movies for chronological order.
Another interesting thing i noticed. While working for the red room, melina and yelena both keep their hairs braided which means that they are not completely under their free will. But at last when they fight with natasha against dreykoy they fight with free hair meaning that they are now under the control of their life and not an object of somebody.
I honestly really liked this movie. The opening credits were haunting and the rest of the movie I had a big smile on my face watching Yelena and Natasha and everyone interact and fight. So glad Marvel is back at the movies!!
Another thing is we saw that when they got separated and anesthetized in Cuba , Yelena and Natasha were laying down as same way as when they got collected by the Red Room force in their jets.
I want to consider that they never specifically named Antonia as Taskmaster in any dialogue, therefore I think someone will adapt the taskmaster mantle.
A really cheap way to come back with a better Taskmaster if you introduce the absolute worst possible interpretation first. Even putting a clown nose on the Black Widow interpretation would be a significant improvement.
I figured that Alexei was talking about Isaiah Bradley. Or perhaps another secret Captain America that the government had tried out. I dont think we ever hear him say "Steve Rogers" tbf.
It can't be Isaiah because he was only active as a supersoldier in the 50's. After that he spent 30 years in prison and after he escaped he spent the rest of his life in hiding.
Rogers is the first Captain America... nobody wore the suite or went by title until we saw Falcon inherit it... Isiah was not given any respectable title or even acknowledged... he was a super soldier that was made to do America's bidding in a racist era without the ppl ever knowing about him..
Did anyone catch that the whole 3rd act is basically the same as winter soldier, trying to save a some what robotic brain washed person fighting the protagonist on a falling ship
An easter egg: what the red guardian has been trying to tell to the inmates is that the captain america he fought in the 80's is the Black Captain America.
I actually liked the movie. I guess people set high expectations due to the exposure to some amazing Disney plus shows and felt that the film fell short to their expectations
@@herloss448 I was a film student, even went to USC film school for a short while, and have been reading comics since the '50s. I rate the film 9/10 (a film like Amelie gets a 10). It was a supremely enjoyable comic based action film.
I thought it was interesting at various points when people were posed in a similar position to Natasha on vormir with a similar shot overhead. The black widow in Budapest, and melina disguised as Natasha in the red room towards the end are ones that come to mind. Obviously foreshadowing endgame.
In the end of the main battle Nat says here comes the cavalry which could be a reference to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's Agent May who has killed a child in Bahrain just like Nat.
14:12 I like to think its referring to Age of Ultron, when Clint keeps talking about how he wants to renovate his house by getting rid of the east wall in his dining room

Just another reference: The Drakov flashback is a reference to a scene in Spielberg’s Munich, where spies have planted a bomb in someone’s office however they decide to NOT detonate the bomb after the targets daughter returns from a privately driven car. The blocking and cinematography being reminiscent of that scene
Dreykov vs black widow felt like Harvey Weinstein auditioning a actress.
Can you explain cause i dont get it
@@pixelstormpl1200 Harvey Weinstein is a notorious producer for assaulting and harassing women during auditions and filming.
Rewatching this scene is a whole lot funnier because of your comment XD

I wish the Taskmaster reveal was more surprising. The movie was like, "Bad guy's daughter was killed by hero a long time ago and is now Taskmaster" That's what it felt like anyways
Yeah I was like okay who is this person?
They kinda ruined task master
I wish taskmaster was Greg Davies
Taskmaster is a protocol in this movie so someone else (tony masters) could become it in the future
Fr now it's a wasted character cause I don't see anyway that they can bring him back
Dominic Toretto: I Have Family
NATASHA: Well I have two families
Vin Diesel : on your left
Why is no one talking about how the prisoner that Red Guardian broke the arm of is Ursa Major!? Powers realised or not he is the Bear Mutant! Mutants are official MCU canon guys! (not including Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver ofc)
Did you look to see if this actor pops up in any other coming films?
@@matthewminton4378 nothing appears to be confirmed, but it's always best to keep a keen eye out!
I was thinking about the same thing.
Guardian even calls him bear too! Definitely foreshadowing something.
@@blakemcmillan5680 100%!
As Taskmaster is more based on the suit in the MCU I guess someone else is going to wear the suit in future maybe some past S.H.I.E.L.D agent.
Yes
And the movie calls Taskmaster a protocol. So another person can use this protocol and return as Taskmaster

lmao same!
lmao same!
The vest Nat wears in Infinity War really hits different now. Lots of pockets 😔✋
I want to consider that they never specifically named Antonia as Taskmaster in any dialogue, therefore I think someone will adapt the taskmaster mantle.
It was said very early in the film. Can’t remember exactly who said it, but it was something like “Should we activate Taskmaster Protocol”
A really cheap way to come back with a better Taskmaster if you introduce the absolute worst possible interpretation first. Even putting a clown nose on the Black Widow interpretation would be a significant improvement.
@@brettdiving2744 well It sorta sounded like a Special Project, kinda like the Winter Soldier and the Widows where there could be multiple.
I don't think they ever called him Taskmaster either in the movie

I really liked how the location title cards were presented in the same font and the same style as in Civil War.
Jeremy Renner actually renovates and flips houses. I think it's a nod to him.
True
Doesn't Anthony Mackie do the same thing?

@@melissaharris3389 oh yeah weren’t Anthony Mackie and Jeremy Renner the main characters in The Hurt Locker (2009) too?
Doesn’t Red Guardian quote Loki, saying Nat’s ledger is dripping; it’s gushing red?
Yes! He's so proud of them lmao
I figured that Alexei was talking about Isaiah Bradley. Or perhaps another secret Captain America that the government had tried out. I dont think we ever hear him say "Steve Rogers" tbf.
He was probably lying about cap.
He asked Black Widow about Cap later in the movie and said he was his "Arch-Nemesis". He was prolly lying.
It can't be Isaiah because he was only active as a supersoldier in the 50's. After that he spent 30 years in prison and after he escaped he spent the rest of his life in hiding.
the fact that alexei asks natasha at the end, it's safe to assume that he was talking about steve rogers.
Rogers is the first Captain America... nobody wore the suite or went by title until we saw Falcon inherit it... Isiah was not given any respectable title or even acknowledged... he was a super soldier that was made to do America's bidding in a racist era without the ppl ever knowing about him..
The winter soldier knife flip was so cool cause taskmaster was mimicking the mind controlled assassin and Alexie was his comparison captain america
I want to see more of red guardian
I wish we could have a red guardian vs bucky face off
Test of strength
Did anyone catch that the whole 3rd act is basically the same as winter soldier, trying to save a some what robotic brain washed person fighting the protagonist on a falling ship
The whole movie felt like a somewhat cheap knock-off of the Winter Soldier
Yeah except BW's version of the winter soldier is also a bad knock off of alot of other villains with no interesting backstory
Yess
Erik missed the part where alexei called ursa “baby bear”😅
@you- tube ah still the reference tho
An easter egg: what the red guardian has been trying to tell to the inmates is that the captain america he fought in the 80's is the Black Captain America.
Woahhh thanks for that
or it could be steve after he went back to peggy in endgame
But then why would he ask Natasha what Cap said about him, Natasha never met Isaiah Bradley
@@mayapriljunee creates a different timeline
I actually liked the movie. I guess people set high expectations due to the exposure to some amazing Disney plus shows and felt that the film fell short to their expectations
i wasnt even hyped for the movie but it was 4/10
@@herloss448 I was a film student, even went to USC film school for a short while, and have been reading comics since the '50s. I rate the film 9/10 (a film like Amelie gets a 10). The only let down for me was the portrayal of Dreykov not being very menacing. The script was not great but very good, the action scenes some of the best I've seen. It was a supremely enjoyable comic based action film.
Ahh, the Black Widow movie. Also know as "Ray Winstone stands uncomfortably close to people"
His top gear sketch was incredible.
" Woah, this would be a great way to die!" Lol I loved Yelena!!!
I thought it was interesting at various points when people were posed in a similar position to Natasha on vormir with a similar shot overhead. The black widow in Budapest, and melina disguised as Natasha in the red room towards the end are ones that come to mind. Obviously foreshadowing endgame.
same thing happened in Scarface.
quite a few “butt shots” in the beginning

Maybe it was "Buttshots" not " "butterfly" as the answer to Clint and Natasha's unfinished hangman game lol
It's amazing the amount of detail they put into these movies, absolutely love it. Thanks for the awesome run down, love the channel :)
In the end of the main battle Nat says here comes the cavalry which could be a reference to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D's Agent May who has killed a child in Bahrain just like Nat.
That is a strange coincidence
I was seriously hoping for may to drop in from a helicopter
😭😭
Since u mention agents of shield, Taskmaster had a very similar theme to Sinara’s from season 5
It’s sad thinking that’s one of the last times we will ever here the avengers theme in a movie
why?

It’s surprising how there wasn’t many actual Easter eggs in this movie. It is full of details but not Easter eggs referencing the comics.
A very little detail I had noticed when i watched the “widows bite” When Nat wears them in this movie are red and every other instance they’re blue signalling the change in events.
I saw that too
Really loved the movie
Had not much thought about it while viewing all the MCU Disney+ series
But was really surprised by just the characters and their interactions
Such a well made fun movie
Made me wish we got this movie earlier
Based on the plot and tone, I’m surprised “Zombie” wasn’t used in the opening credits. That song actually hints at family, and is about someone being a drone to a violent cause which was meant to reflect much of the IRA at the time.
Anger's cover of Teen Spirit sounded like a Zombie mash up .
[15:00] What if Alexi was talking about Bradley... I believe that those timelines match up. Be it that Bradley could have been active during that time.
It was so cool to watch this movie and see some of the shots of my hometown, specifically the when they are driving away past the football field and the flag on the bridge.
