    #AntMan3 #Quantumania #EndingExplained
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania just kicked off phase 5 in the best way possible.
We just witnessed the craziest MCU credits scenes with the introduction of the council of Kangs.
There are so many Kangs to explain.
The stakes for the multiversal saga are clear now, the Kangs are assembling a multiversal army against the Avengers.
There’s also that shocking ending with Kang the conqueror, who may or may not be dead.
But who are we kidding, he will probably return, and we have an idea on how Kang is still alive.
And finally, we got to talk about that Loki season 2 tease, and who is the mustache Kang variant.
And of course, how does all of this set up Avengers Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.
Alright, let’s get straight into it, and break down that insane mid-credit scene.
And it’s insane because I never would have imagined that Marvel will full-on recreate this panel from Avengers #292. And somehow pull it off.
So we see what looks like a giant colosseum filled with countless versions of Kang. There are Kangs of all shapes and sizes. Some are human, others are alien. There’s so much stuff for us to go over in our easter eggs video.
Doug: But what’s the deal with all of these Kangs.
So this is the council of Kangs from the comics.
They are a multiversal alliance of many versions of Kangs from different universes.
This is also the case in the MCU. The council is filled with countless Kang variants.
    [script]
And these Kangs are the ones who are pulling the multiversal strings.
So there are many variants in this scene, but three of them stand out.
They seem to be the leaders of the council.
There’s an older-looking variant, and he looks like Immortus from the comics.
Immortus is a version of Kang from the far future who’s always manipulating everyone.
He’s always fighting with his younger self, which is Kang the conquer.
Also, Immortus was secretly behind the council of Kangs in the comics.
He manipulated Prime Kang to form the council to wipe out all of his variants.
Doug: Prime Kang? Optimus Prime is in the MCU too?
No….haha, by Prime Kang I mean the original Kang the conquer.
Anyways, then there’s the Pharaoh-looking variant, this one is Rama-Tut.
In the comics, he was the first persona Kang adopted.
Before becoming Kang, he was Nathaniel Richards, a scientist from the 30th who discovered time travel technology.
He traveled back to ancient Egypt and became the Pharaoh Rama-Tut.
This isn’t the first time we saw Rama-Tut in the MCU. He was teased in Moon Knight.
The third variant seems to be the Scarlet Centurion.
Though he doesn’t actually look like him that much.
He seems to have silver armor instead of red one.
But I assume that he’s meant to be a slightly different version of the Scarlet Centurion.
It makes sense since Kang has three other major personas in the comics: Immortus, Rama-Tut and the Scarlet Centurion.
So it will mean that the three leaders of the council are these 3 variants.
In the comics, Kang became Scarlet Centurion after he was defeated by the fantastic 4 as Rama-Tut.
And hold up, could this mean that the Fantastic 4 will fight Rama-Tut in their movie? Now that could be wild.
Anyways, the Fantastic 4 kicked Rama-Tut out of ancient Egypt and he ended up in the present day. There he met Doctor Doom. The best villain in the comics made an impression on Rama-Tut, so he ditched the Pharaoh persona and got a new one, inspired by, becoming the Scarlet Centurion.
I should also mention that Kang’s son Marcus became the Scarlet Centurion in the Kang Dynasty storyline.
Now there are two other important Kang variants who are missing from this scene, the one that appears in the post-credit scene - that one is Victor Timely.
And He Who Remains, the Kang variant that appeared in Loki.

The movie sucked. Save your money and time.
      Synopsis in three acts:
      Act 1
They get pulled into the quantum realm. When they get there kang had already being there and pulled them in. Scott and his kid land together and hope, her dad and mom land together somewhere else. Hope's mom explains she helped kang get his suit and some of his ability back and they are enemies. Kang sends MODOK (darren cross who he saved in the quantum realm after scott shrank him in the first movie) to capture scott and cassie. Kang puts them in a prison and threatens to kill cassie if scott doesn't help him get the engine for his ship which hope's mom destroyed (by enlarging it with pym particles). Scott agrees and becomes smaller to go shrink the core of the engine.
      Act 2
Scott arrives at the engine core. At the same time hope, her dad and mom arrive at the core location to steal it as well. Hope and scott meet while small near the core of the engine. They succeed in shrinking the core of the engine and kang is there waiting for them. He takes the engine from them, strands them there, takes hopes mom with him for revenge and goes to his palace to take everything he created with him to the real world.
      Act 3
Scott shows up to disrupt his plan and at the same time cassie escapes the prison with other prisoners and they begin disrupting kangs plan. There is a big fight and kang loses cause MODOK (who insists on being called MODOK throughout the movie) helps them and says the line thats about to spawn a thousand memes "My name is Darren and I am not a dick". MODOK dies after some seriously cringe mediocre attempt at comedy. Kang goes to finish the fight himself and a whole bunch of ants show up to help scott and the rest. Turns out when they got pulled into the quantum realm pyms ants also go pulled in and they experienced time dilation and created a technocratic socialist civilization during that time (the entire explanation takes about 15 seconds). They defeat kang again and he gets shrunk. Scott and the rest go to the real world. Scott feels a little uneasy about whether he made the right decision but decides not to over-think it.
      The End.
Post credit scene 1: A bunch of kangs (variants) gather in an arena led by 3 different kangs and they discuss whether the avengers are a threat to them. They decide they are and discuss how to deal with the avengers.
Post credit scene 2: A kang variant named victor timely is giving a science presentation on earth and loki and mobius are in the audience. The argue whether this is the variant they've been looking for. Loki thinks he is and he is a threat.
Note: Cassie is being setup to become the next ant-man. She has a suit and everything throughout the movie and apparently has been working with pym on science and stuff.
Verdict: Movie sucks ass and the MCU is officially dead. Long live the MCU.

I have a theory that the Kang we saw in Quantumania is the same one as the one from the end of Loki, and we are watching Kang’s story out of chronological order, because he doesn’t follow time linearly. Sort of like Eric Bana’s character in The Time Traveler’s Wife. Or Guy Pierce in Memento. And then when the Multiverse Saga ends, we can set up a different order in which to watch the movies, which will follow Kang’s pov of the sequence of events.
I also think the TVA is in that city of his, since it exists outside space and time (which is why the Infinity Stones don’t work there). My guess is that within the movies of these next phases he’ll show up again and again to gather the tools he needs to weaponize Alioth. But maybe in the next one he’ll be almost ready and then in the next still starting, since we may first see him further along and then later see him earlier (lol).

      to add somepoints
During the backstory we can see he is also destroying the branching timelines

so if he burn them out of time(as said in the movie ) he will ends up as he who remains (i think he is so egoistic that he will name himself that and this would add more significance to his name like the only kang that remains)

Also I agree with the theory that Kang the Conqueror isn't truly dead...(he's trapped in that probability storm..which will make him more deranged the longer he's in it with all his possibilities) also Kang the Conqueror is he who remains (the mental instability plus he states he was called a Conqueror..and that is what the freedom fighters call him in the movie).
Also movie revealed some Kang's weaknesses.. his reliance on technology and being alone. MARVEL WOULDN'T KILL HIM OFF IN HIS FIRST MOVIE ..NO WAY
Can't wait to see Avengers Kang Dynasty...
Kang was fearsome..I loved how the army retreated because of how powerful he was in battle....

I know they want to keep the characters unique but there is no actual reason everyone with a Pym-tech suit shouldn’t be able to do all the same things as it’s a force multiplayer. Paige should most definitely have them as they are already separating along gender lines. Just imagine the three of them giant sized in the last battle from the beginning with blasters. Kang has no chance. I mean they can still have their specialties within Pym-tech. Like Hope can’t get quite as big as Scott, Scott will never be a better fighter or flyer than Hope. But they should all have the best version of the suit, which includes flight and blasters. Sorry for rant

I think the one thing we learned from Loki is that time is happening at all times. There is no true present, except for maybe places outside time. This is how variants keep popping up throughout time. Because of this, it is possible to have a different outcome to the multiversal war than before. If it was predetermined that he who remains always wins he wouldn't need his gambit with Loki.

I think the end of time that Kang saw was the Great Multiversal War shown by Miss Minutes in Loki. Before the events of that show, He Who Remains was the only variant of Nathaniel Richards alive because the TVA pruned any timelines that could create another. After Sylvie killed him, the Kang that Scott fights and the whole council of Kangs are born across the multiverse. We're watching the events that He Who Remains managed to prevent for awhile: Kang the Conqueror, who was doing the same thing as the TVA except killing timelines himself instead of pruning, dying which allowing the counsel of Kangs to grow, eventually have serious internal conflicts, and go to war with eachother, destroying everything.

There is one possibility for the variant of Kang's fate from Quantumania: he did die, but we will still see an earlier version of him in later movies.
