Exactly. As a daughter of a 2-year old angel, that scene was the best one for me. It shows how Lang is in every universe and probability, a heart-felt father who places the safety of his daughter above anything else 😭
imagine what kang is about to do in the probability storm by the end of kang dynasty he might even build his multiple versions of himself to take on the kang dynasty by end of that saga when he comes back
Kang told Janet twice that her daughter would open a portal, and she would be there. I forget the exact words, but it shows how his way of seeing time made him at least aware that those events would occur at some point. He asked her twice what she saw when she touched his mind, which makes me think that he has seen glimpses of what happens, but doesn't know every step of the way, otherwise he would have known her future answer. That makes his frustration with "losing" add up even though he knows he's going to accomplish his ultimate goal in the end, to "win"
Kang isn’t looking into the future. He is looking at it all at once. So he probably sees those events always happening. He just doesn’t know the context is all the time. It could be happening a few different ways. But what Janet saw was his memories of what he had already done. He had already erased timelines and universes. But seeing all potential events all at once must make things blurry.
Kang can see his winning but can't see the direct path to get there. His curse is being able to see all time, all realities. It's like being able to see yourself becoming like the greatest president ever but having no idea how to get there. Infinite choices is alot to narrow down to one correct choice.
Personally loved this movie. Can't wait to see where ,and when Nathaniel Richard variants continues to appear in phase 5/ 6. Jonathan majors is a great actor.
Really?! But he died in a very stupid way and never really fought. Not to mention the fact that he was supposed to be the big bad guy and he was just a guy that talked and tried to run away.
@@jasonrodriguez8569 I read comic books but not so deeply. Didnt read anything about Kang and very little about Ant-man. Albeit, this movie was super fun. It fares triumphantly compared to the monstrosity that is phase 4.
I think Kang is actually the one who becomes He who remains. You can see his motives is to save the multiverse but he’s going about it the wrong way for now. I like the complexity of his character.
This whole thread is hilarious and shows ppl still don’t get the concept of kang lol. They don’t mean this kang is literally he who remains. It’s just like he says there will always be a he who remains rather there’s a stripe on his ass or his back 😂
Also the fact that Janet helped Kang fix his core explains her advanced knowledge when she came out of the QR the first time and might be important in later fights against him
Michelle P was acting her face off at the start of the movie. From the moment she hears the others were sending a signal to the QR, she is visibly terrified and literally trembling I thought she did a good job of portraying genuine fear of Kang. She's a literal ex-superhero, and still Kang is causing her that much fear. That really helps set up the idea that Kang's ruthlessness and what he has the ability to do must be really really bad for her to react like that
Also you make post like a child like you make post just come off so fake like dude this is real life not everything needs to be praised for attention your comment is like a post you want to get pinned
That scene was so good because Hank and Hope were both like Janet calm down, but Scott see the look of terror on her face and was like what Am I missing, than the movie basically starts
Feige should make a marvel special of 1 hour with Luis telling the entire infinity saga from iron man 1 all the way to endgame. That way for new fans to catch up. Come on Kevin Do IT!!!
I thought the reason the probabilities disappeared in the storm was because Scott and Hope interacted with each other, collapsing the waveform. I like your reasoning for it too though.
Well I might be wrong … But the Kang from this movie is the only one who has those face markings… So in the comics he’s the one who’s usually the Big Bad so he’ll be back… Also I’m not 100% sure but I think He was sucked into the probability Storm ⛈️ so with that many versions of himself working on a couple of problems he should be back worst or maybe better than ever 😉
The thing is there are MULTIPLE Kangs so whatever Kang reference you think you've noticed could originated from any Kang while the one in the movie is probably still dead
I noticed this little Easter Egg while watching the movie. The corridors or hallways of Kangs Tower in the Quantum Realm looks similar if not identical to the corridors/hallways of the TVA. I liked that little detail coz it shows that Kang and He Who Remains (who created the TVA) are more or less one in the same. I loved this film. Kang was amazing.
Call me crazy, but I think Ant-Man is one of the most dangerous characters in the MCU. As Giant-Man, he one-punched space whales and stomped Hulk-tier beings like Cull Obsidian into the ground. But with Pym Particles, Ant-Man can destroy enemies at the subatomic level. He's mind-bogglingly dangerous, and the only reason he's not S-tier is he's played by the kindhearted Paul Rudd. Wait that does make him S-tier.
Ofcourse he is! He’s way underutilized in the mcu. I’m glad we got to see giant man more in the movie. The avengers cartoons ant man always kicks ass and puts hulk in his place. I love ant man !
There's also the option for antman to get inside a villain and grow to giant man like termite from the boys. Prolly never gonna happen on the mcu but its funny and very powerful
Also the way their suits are designed now are a subtle nod to Iron Man on how they’re activated on their chests - I guess Hank got inspired in the quantum heist suits Tony did in Endgame to upgrade them.
We never see Hope and Scott actually go back through the time portal Cassie opened. How do we know they went back to the correct timeline? Maybe that's why Scott feels off?
@@simicbranislav4473 i think that was upper quantum realm .. the one at the end of antman 2... but here it is a civilized quantum realm and somehow matches with earth's time
One thing nobody has pointed out was The Void from Loki got a shoutout that might be a big Easter egg - when Hank asked Janet why he able to detect the civilization part of the quantum realm, she says he wasn’t looking deep enough, and had to go beyond The Void and some other place. The Void being where Alioth was in Loki. ITS ALL CONNECTED
The Quantum Void is the outermost layer of the Quantum Realm; We've seen it in the first Ant-Man and Doctor Strange films. It's an empty void full of ever changing geometric shapes. The layer further beyond the Void is the Wasteland, and that's the part of the Quantum Realm we heavily saw in the second Ant-Man film. The "Void" from Loki is something else entirely, that's at the end of time.
There was also an important Kang variant connecting to Loki. Mr Gryphon was seen in business attire in the Council of Kangs scene. This of course connects to the Qeng Industries tower in episode 4 of Loki
Hate how all the critics almost made me not watch the movie I honestly liked it I give it a 7/10 wish they didn’t just kill off MODOK and used him as a more serious villain he could have not been added to the movie and it wouldn’t have mattered
Yeah it seemed like the reviewers all had a meeting and decided they were going to hate the movie, rather than just be objective. What I watched was amazing. Part of the experience of marvel for me is loving the movie, then going online to see other people loving it too. I just loved the feeling of being a community in it. Then with Dr strange multiverse of madness it just ended. I loved the movie, then everyone hated it. I could see why they hated it, but I didn't go in with giga bazillion expectations, pretty much guaranteeing that it would disappoint. I went in excited to see a Sam Raimi marvel movie and was not disappointed. But this movie? I loved this movie and the reviewers just seem like they think they're too damn cool now. What a shame.
@@Hussemo same experience for me. Multiverse of madness was a huge disappointment, then Love and Thunder was nail on the coffin. I gave up on Marvel after that. Wakanda forever was a bit promising but at the end it didnt do much for me but with Quantumania, it feels like MCU is back with a bang. Hope they continue servicing their fandom this way rather than crapping on them like how She-hulk did.
@@keerthichandra376 exactly. You and I agree on all of that except Dr strange. But I've always been a huge fan of Raimi's style. So yes, to me, this movie brought the MCU back. And hopefully it continues. Like the jumping off point that winter soldier was for the infinity saga.
We really liked this movie, it had so many great visuals & ideas. Kang was portrayed so well by Jonathan, like he already did with He Who Remains. The interconnections are great. We also enjoyed Multiverse of Madness. But there are so many people nowadays who like to put everything down that's not exactly as they imagined. Everyone thinks he is the perfect director/writer/cinematographer and knows best. This constant whining is so annoying, and you have it everywhere, in every franchise. These people aren't fans, they are just freaks who should get a life and stop watching.
Absolutely no one is talking about the group of crystal looking people in the freedom fighters. They looked a lot like the infinity stones that Thanos “reduced to atoms”
I think that this movie could have been better if Scott or one in the party could have been severely damaged somehow to highlight how dangerous and how lucky there were to escape Kang.
Kangs main reason why he is so powerful is because of his use of time travel, he does not have that ability while in the quantum realm. If Antman we’re to fight him outside on earth he wouldn’t stand a chance
@@leighhall3521 yes but it does not make us hold our nerve in a thought of avengers has to fight kang like it did to us before and after watching infinity war and before going to watch endgame , it makes us feel like if super powerful heroes like scarlet witch , dr.strange , cpt marvel , thor , adam warlick , hulk and powerful eternals fights together they could easily beat kang the conqueror , their is no sense of threat that we feel for heroes like we did against thanos even before watching infinity war even ant man doesn't and will be super confidence and will not be scared of kang , he alone with hank , hope his daughter gave kang tough time , he will surely be super confident if he is standing side to said with every avengers plus other powerful heroes, if this movie was setting up kang for avengers dynasty and trying to make our nerves hold in a thought that our heroes have to face kang then it did very bad job of doing that , we only imagine kang will be more powerful but based on this movie our heroes can easily defeat the kang .
You guys forget the time difference. In the few seconds lived by Scott and hope at the end before the second door opens, would have been weeks for Cassie to have time to fix her invention and open a new door. This explains why she is in different clothing.
if a few seconds is weeks then how does anyone in the quantum realm remember janet and how is janet still alive ( or rather how is anyone else still alive ) if a few seconds in quantum realm is weeks on earth and janet was there for 30 years then DAMN
Well they don't add up anyway. Scott says 5 hours equalled 5 years during the blip... That's why they did what they did in endgame remember. So we know there is time dialation. The figures I just was using as an example
You guys have to pay attention to what was said in the movie. Janet was in quantum realm where time (apparently) passes the same as how it does on Earth. At the end of Antman 2, scott was stuck in a time vortex where (apparently) he spent 5 hourd which equalled 5 years on Earth. When Cassie opens the portal, Hope and Scott were in quantum realm so it didn't take days or weeks back on Earth. All of that happened around the same timw
I think two of my fave easter eggs were i) the fact that all the Scotts in the probability storm had to create a bridge using their own bodies (like ants) to reach the core; and ii) that the original company that became Atlas and later Marvel Comics was "Timely Comics"
Loved the movie. One thing I'm left wondering is since Kang (and he who remains) speaks of his existence running in a circle and not linear, could him getting sucked in the probability storm actually contributed to the formation of all of the various Kangs?
I’ve been watching your videos for years and just realized Doug is not only a stand in for the audience asking questions but also provides the pause in between explanations like when movies pause in fight scenes to give your brain a break.
Here's a theory: When Kang emerges into the MCU in Kang Dynasty, he wins because (as Ryan pointed out) the heroes are not a functioning team of Avengers and too disassociated to unite against him. This prompts the kids (Speed, Wiccan, Patriot, Hawkeye, etc) to come together as the Young Avengers to win the Secret Wars. Wasn't the Young Avengers' 1st opponent Kang in the comics?
I really enjoyed this video and looking forward to more of the theory videos. I think you are one of the only reviewer RUclipsrs that seems to not only enjoy this movie but actually gets what was going on.
Peyton Reed has talked about how he did the making-of documentaries for Back to The Future II and III, and that the moment in Quantumania where Hank enlarges the pizza was a nod to Part II's pizza scene.
I LOVE how HUMAN Kang appeared. It was the moment RIGHT before he went down to kill everyone… he had tears in his eyes. This was like the moment Thanos had tears in his eyes before killing his Daughter. Kang didn’t want to kill everyone but it was like he knew he had to, so he can save whatever was left of his plan.
I heard a rumor Loki would be looking for He Who Remains in Season 2. Although that would be a change from last season. It does seem like the TVA will soon learn "free will" leads to multiversal war. But there must be some better compromise than "only one timeline" (what makes it sacred to he who remains? ravonna?) and "no timelines or else there is war (kang in this movie). Shouldn't there be a variant of Kang (Immortus maybe?) who would monitor several timelines with the TVA but try to keep them from having incursions? (Isn't that also supposed to be what the Sorcerer Supreme's job is? To protect this reality? He should help too.) Then you could have several teams--either Avengers or Fantastic Four or whatever--running at the same time? Parallel realities, no un-supervised cutting across. Not a crazy Council of Kangs like we see in this. More like an Avengers team made of Kangs? (Maybe he needs to be part of a team? Like in Young Avengers? Or experienced family with the Fantastic Four? Something sappy like that?) He Who Remains had the idea of passing the gig on. Couldn't he give it to the Fantastic Four or something? Also, do we know what timeline the Loki show is in now? But they were saying Mobius was in "Deadpool" so is it possible it's in the X-Men timeline now as branched as it is? As odd as it is, I feel like Kang and Loki represent order versus chaos in the universe, and I think these two need to hash it out.
Hey there Ryan, hope you and Doug doing good ! Thanks so much for all the work and effort for all your vids, I’m hyped for phase 5 🥳 And in case you read comments, keep going ! ✌️
The ooze is similar to the microbes in "High on Life" which was created by Justin Roiland. the microbes have to be absorbed to gain universal language comprehension.
Not sure if there are any Antz (1998) fans in the comments, but the scene with the ant tower and Hope extending her arm to help Scott is VERY reminiscent of a scene from Antz towards the end as the ants try to escape their flooded ant hill. Too appropriate and clever to be just a coincidence. I’m surprised RUclipsrs did not make this connection. 👌🏾
Hank mentions he was with someone named Linda and Janet asked how was it. Hank says that it wasn't her. Indiana Jones said the same thing about Marion in the Crystal Skulls movie.
In the fight versus Kang at the end Kang comments how Scott wasn’t supposed to do a move indicating that Kang‘s ability to read time was somehow not working perfectly.
just got done watching Antman 3. Not to spoil but it does not state the time line the movie is at. so its hard to tell. Its a spoil but not really. as far as time line they do not state it in the movie. so for all we know this could happen before doctor strange and the universe of madiness.
@@anthonygordon9483 I'm pretty sure it was more than one universe. They just teased the multiverse to us coz later they would have to show it grand scale in Avengers Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars
When Kang arrived in the QR, it’s shot from the same angle as when Loki used the tesseract in his show. Both were shot from afar from the top left and landed in the opposite corner, kind of linking them together. Could be a reach but I thought it was interesting
My son and I enjoyed this movie a lot! It was fun, and the creatures in the Quantum Realm looked awesome. Kang was awesome! His suit looked so awesome. I was surprised by the ending though, I expected Scott and Hope were going to be trapped in the Quantum Realm. I did like how paranoid Scott was at the end though. He knows something bad is coming
To be honest, this channel is great on its own, but having Doug included just makes it straight *amazing*! Like, how often do you get something as dorky as easter egg breakdowns combined with something as cute as a little pup in a shirt?!
I NEED the full version of Doug singing, “We Built This City.” There will be bgv’s, harmony and if at all possible a full orchestra. Make. This. Happen. :-)
I think Ant-Man didn't get tired from turning giant. Not only cuz he's getting used to it but because they're tiny so they're not really getting bigger than their original size. I don't know. Makes sense to me
If Janet had the pym particles to grow with her when she entered the quantum realm, why didn’t she use them just like ant man did in the original movie to get out? That’s what confuses me.
Bc they were never truly in the quantum realm, if you see it again. Listen to Janet describe how they never seen it the first time. They breeched, the quantum bubble? Or something lol
*I think the citadel at the end of time is all that is left of the place where the Kangs were meeting after the multiversal war tore it apart. I also think the 3 kangs were the statues in said citadel and the broken statue we saw on the floor was the 4th kang they threw down the outcast conqueror. Who is the very same he who remains after winning, the broken statues visage returned victorious over all the rest. Now eternally watching the perfect sacred timeline pruning any errant branches which lead to challenges to his power. Set on a specific precarious path which stops other Kangs from existing but leaves the universe exactly where it needed to be for the first Kang to be born again if control was ever lost. Like a ball at the top of a hill, easy to hold up but with so much potential to go downward and without the effort will fall down inevitably. Loki and Slyvie were his chance at true freedom, a chance to finally die while maintaining the balance preventing him from returning but with a safety mechanism that if ever things got out of control he would arise again to make sure he, or other beings who would eventually make his same mistake from destroying everything. He was warning them they were playing with fire and now he is suffering the worst penance for a man who wanted to rule everything...Eternal watch of that thing over and over the same boring loop to protect the universe from himself as punishment for his own desire to rule it all. Like red skull set to watch over the very stone he sought damned to never have it. The MCU is so good.
There's also a council of reeds and kang is related to Reed Richards. I feel like there's something there when Reed rebuilds the multiverse in one arc also.
Other things to note: (1) When Kang's faceplate pulls back to reveal his skin, the last part of him to have the blue color fade is his eyes. That, and the subtle finger-waving, indicates that his technological prowess is controlled directly by his mind. (2) When Cassie says "Don't be a dick", she's referring to Wheaton's Law, which honors Wil Wheaton. (3) In one scene, while Kang is viewing the Multiverse, we can see Incursions ON the timeline as small sparks or fireworks.
I don’t know if it just me, but the plot in this movie reminds me of the plot of Tron Legacy. Another version of some character who is in another world of the other and needs an object to conquer that world.
James E Woo and Scott Lang is actually one of my all times bromances to ever exist just had to say it I would watch the shittiest sitcom ever made as long as they were the stars of the show 😂😂😂😭❤️❤️❤️
I didn't notice until you froze the frame with Imortus, Rama Tut & whoever that Rama Tut only has a human torso. His arms and below the waist are mechanical. Very very interesting. When I first saw this scene I thought the third one was Iron Lad, maybe with the helmet off, but the Scarlett Centurion does make more sense. Boy howdy I love these vids!
i felt like when scott ate the cake with the ant on it its like when Rick and Morty came back from their "quantum universe" (rick's battery) and there was spiders in the ice cream. toooootally a nod tyo the show lol
I think the big sizing of the pizza was also a reference to Pym’s kitchen in Disney’s California Adventure where the food is enlarged through Pym technology.
Always disagree that Scott Lang is not a smart guy (~6:40ish). He is a degreed MIT engineer who could hack a major corporation's internal systems. It is that he consistently is paired against Hank Pym, or Tony Stark, or Bruce Banner when it comes to intellectual dialog.
Holy shit. This is a long video! I thought I had time to watch a quick little fifteen minute one before I had to leave, but I'll have to get back to this. Haha thanks Ryan! Love your work.
I'm actually looking forward to more Kangs. Jonathan Majors is awesome. I haven't been this exciting about seeing a villain since Rogue One A Star Wars Story.
YYYYOOOOOO after rewatching loki before watching this i think noticed an easter egg from loki that ties to the counsel of kang's, because there is 3 main kangs running the counsel now, i believe there was originally 4, the 4th being the exiled kang, and in the citadel at the end of time there was 4 statues and 1 was broken leaving 3. i believe the councle did that at a point in time after exiling him when they ruled from that citadel, before he who remains weaponized aliath and won the miltiversal war
Honestly it was money and time I'll never get back. Something told me to to wait and watch on Disney +. I wish I would've, at home I could've turned it off and did more productive stuff.
I like when Scott was walking in the begin of the movie and he pass a ally and on the wall nothing but at the end of the movie the ally had a heart shape with his picture in it.
I love your breakdowns. I can watch your videos all day. Love it and the way the context is described and iterated. Well done very easy to understand. My man. Keep it up !!
Just a quick Easter Egg within the Easter Egg. In addition to being a reference to his time-travel abilities, Victor Timely is named for Timely Comics, which was the original name of the company that became Marvel Comics (after a brief foray as Atlas).
Since the door closes before re opening. The time dialation would have taken place in the few seconds between door openings. That few seconds in the QR for Scott and hope would have been minimally weeks for Cassie, Hank and Janet to find a way to open another door.
Nice analysis. Doug should give you a raise. One of the potential details I saw was early on when the family first arrives in the Quantum Realm, there was a skyborne land-mass that looked very much like the mass which holds the Citadel at the End of Time. I am unsure if it is the same, similar, or merely a variant. I am sure there is a cat somewhere that says it is all three.
Best theory I could think of that makes Eternals borderline watchable. A variant of Kang created the Celestials of 616 and programmed them to create eternals on different planets, in search of a planet that would produce another Kang variant. If the algorithm determined the planet became powerful and advanced (i.e. heavily populated/super humans and nanotech) and a Kang variant had not been produced, that planet would be pruned, and another Celestial would continue until a Kang was created. If the Eternals wouldn’t have interfered with Earth’s destruction, Kang would not have been created. That’s why Arisham takes the Eternals to some unknown place for judgement. He’s taking them to Kang to dictate whether or not Earth was the intended birthplace of 616 Kang. Pls like this so it doesn’t get buried and Ryan can see it 😭❤️🙏
Loved your video Ryan. The effort is amazing. After my second viewing a noticed this: The end fight is about Scott becoming the hero he will be moving forward. Scott can no longer “look the other way.” He learned this from Cap, who moves when he “sees a situation pointed south.” He also knows that “he doesn’t have to win, they both just have to lose.” He learned this from Tony and his sacrifice. (I found the influences deep)
I feel so proud of myself for predicting that Darren Cross would become MODOK and that Scott wouldn't die. I seriously feel like I was one of 10 people on earth who knew Marvel wouldn't kill him off in his third film.
Darren's ultimate work of villainy was turning a man to a shrunken goo pile and flushing said goo pile man down a toilet. That's unredeemable. And you don't redeem M.O.D.O.K.. Ever. Period.
I also like the stroll down the sidewalk with narration at the end for how it resembled Dr. Strange's walk at the end of MoM and not everything being quite right. I'm curious if we'll see another.
Most movies have a higher audience score than critic score. The only times that the critic scores are higher are usually in niche movies or movies pushing a political message.
When Hopes heads back to the quantum realm to get Scott I believe it was a call back to the second movie when she was upset at Scott. In the Second movie she told Scott that if she was would have been fighting with him, he would have never been caught. So by Hope coming back to help Scott solidifies that that with them two together can ether accomplish anything or if not not the end, together get out of a jam.

Really?! But he died in a very stupid way and never really fought. Not to mention the fact that he was supposed to be the big bad guy and he was just a guy that talked and tried to run away.

I think Kang is actually the one who becomes He who remains. You can see his motives is to save the multiverse but he’s going about it the wrong way for now. I like the complexity of his character.

I thought the variant from Loki was he who remains

This whole thread is hilarious and shows ppl still don’t get the concept of kang lol. They don’t mean this kang is literally he who remains. It’s just like he says there will always be a he who remains rather there’s a stripe on his ass or his back 😂
Also the fact that Janet helped Kang fix his core explains her advanced knowledge when she came out of the QR the first time and might be important in later fights against him
Which is also why in Kang Dynasty, Kang will go after the Ant-Man crew immediately.
That really helps set up the idea that Kang's ruthlessness and what he has the ability to do must be really really bad for her to react like that
No she wasn't good she was honestly very bad if that's good acting I'm glad you don't give away awards

That way for new fans to catch up. Come on Kevin Do IT!!!
I thought the reason the probabilities disappeared in the storm was because Scott and Hope interacted with each other, collapsing the waveform. I like your reasoning for it too though.
Kang is def still alive ,he's probably the reason for Shang Chi post credit scene 100% gonna have the beyonders powers from dying by the power source.
That version of Kang died l, he has plenty of other variants to pick up his slack
@@IAmMightyMike Wrong Michael.
He was confirmed dead by the other Kang variants himself. Do you think those beings are wrong?
I totally said the same-thing during the movie. I said it reminded me so much of TVA hallways/rooms.
In _What If_ Hank Pym murdered the Avengers by himself 🤷♂️
Tru dat. They had to have Scott funny & cute. Otherwise dark Antman wud b tremendous 😰
Ant man could have easily killed Thanos by stepping on him as giant man
Also the way their suits are designed now are a subtle nod to Iron Man on how they’re activated on their chests - I guess Hank got inspired in the quantum heist suits Tony did in Endgame to upgrade them.
I’m sure during Endgame that Tony showed Scott a few things and Scott also learned a few things. We just didn’t see those scenes.
We never see Hope and Scott actually go back through the time portal Cassie opened. How do we know they went back to the correct timeline? Maybe that's why Scott feels off?
Maybe Hope's new highlighted hairdo is a clue...?

I was thinking that.
Glad you pointed this out! Soon as Janet said the Void, Loki episode 5 popped in my head!

Seriously. This guy is supposed to be the next thanos but gets beaten by the comedic relief avenger lmao
Kangs main reason why he is so powerful is because of his use of time travel, he does not have that ability while in the quantum realm. If Antman we’re to fight him outside on earth he wouldn’t stand a chance
this kang was little bit kind and good so....
@@leighhall3521 yes but it does not make us hold our nerve in a thought of avengers has to fight kang like it did to us before and after watching infinity war and before going to watch endgame , it makes us feel like if super powerful heroes like scarlet witch , dr.strange , cpt marvel , thor , adam warlick , hulk and powerful eternals fights together they could easily beat kang the conqueror ,
their is no sense of threat that we feel for heroes like we did against thanos even before watching infinity war even ant man doesn't and will be super confidence and will not be scared of kang , he alone with hank , hope his daughter gave kang tough time , he will surely be super confident if he is standing side to said with every avengers plus other powerful heroes,

You guys forget the time difference. In the few seconds lived by Scott and hope at the end before the second door opens, would have been weeks for Cassie to have time to fix her invention and open a new door. This explains why she is in different clothing.
if a few seconds is weeks
then how does anyone in the quantum realm remember janet
and how is janet still alive ( or rather how is anyone else still alive )
if a few seconds in quantum realm is weeks on earth and janet was there for 30 years then DAMN
@@keerthichandra376 I need a diagram 🙈🙈

first thing i do when i leave a marvel movie is stalk your page for the easter egg video, you never disappoint.
Same!
I think two of my fave easter eggs were i) the fact that all the Scotts in the probability storm had to create a bridge using their own bodies (like ants) to reach the core; and ii) that the original company that became Atlas and later Marvel Comics was "Timely Comics"
I appreciate the Jimmy Woo card trick arc focus. Thank you, Ryan!
Loved the movie. One thing I'm left wondering is since Kang (and he who remains) speaks of his existence running in a circle and not linear, could him getting sucked in the probability storm actually contributed to the formation of all of the various Kangs?
Oooo yes, that part 🤔
Love this theory. Great observation.
No. When he got sucked inside the core, paralelly other Kang variants already existed. Probability storm doesnt create actual variants
Scott is stuck in a time loop... the song "welcome back " playing in the background as he's walking is very telling... like he's in a sitcom...
*WandaVision theme plays in the distance*
i thought the post credit scene was gonna be a reveal of this too.
It's actually a good throw back to "Staying Alive" strutting and won't be surprised if it's referenced later lol
Peyton Reed has talked about how he did the making-of documentaries for Back to The Future II and III, and that the moment in Quantumania where Hank enlarges the pizza was a nod to Part II's pizza scene.
My favorite bit in this movie is they almost down scott with that liquid, but Hank, Janet, and hope just take a shot of it.
My favorite bit was just after that. “He has seven holes” “……. Yeah that’s right”
i think it’s because they’re antes him to drink it so by putting so much in his mouth he would’ve had to swallow at least a bit of the ooze
I liked Quantumania before but this video helped me appreciate it a bit more...
Already looking to go for a rewatch

This the best review of the movie I've seen so far. It's clear how much thought and consideration went into it.
Did you spot any Easter Eggs we missed?

I was surprised by the ending though, I expected Scott and Hope were going to be trapped in the Quantum Realm. I did like how paranoid Scott was at the end though. He knows something bad is coming
I keep on thinking the “banished” Kang was actually He who Remains. We do see his death.
They way Kang reversed that torch head thing's light (not a comic book guy so idk his name) was similar how shang chi took control of the rings
Jonathan Majors saved the movie, because I felt really long. But your videos make everything better and I can't wait for the future to see Kang again.

The MCU is so good.
I know some did not like this movie but I enjoyed it. It was fun to see a movie and have a fun time.
There's also a council of reeds and kang is related to Reed Richards. I feel like there's something there when Reed rebuilds the multiverse in one arc also.
Other things to note:
(1) When Kang's faceplate pulls back to reveal his skin, the last part of him to have the blue color fade is his eyes.
Very very interesting. i felt like when scott ate the cake with the ant on it its like when Rick and Morty came back from their "quantum universe" (rick's battery) and there was spiders in the ice cream. toooootally a nod tyo the show lol
So basically, Loki already showed us how phases 5-6 ended? Nice.
This Kang is who becomes he who remains. He was even pruning timelines and got exiled for it
I think the big sizing of the pizza was also a reference to Pym’s kitchen in Disney’s California Adventure where the food is enlarged through Pym technology.
“He has no special skills” Scott is a thief. He has a ton of skills.

They are not in a time vortex for that to happen

After my second viewing a noticed this:
The end fight is about Scott becoming the hero he will be moving forward.
Probability storm reminded me of the probability drive of the ship in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Rotten Tomatoes now 48 to 85 for audiences, I think critics really just wanted to see marvel fall 😂

Quantum indigestion
When Hopes heads back to the quantum realm to get Scott I believe it was a call back to the second movie when she was upset at Scott. In the Second movie she told Scott that if she was would have been fighting with him, he would have never been caught. So by Hope coming back to help Scott solidifies that that with them two together can ether accomplish anything or if not not the end, together get out of a jam.
