Something I'm surprised no other reactors have thought about after the season was over since my friend pointed it out to me: In the 5th episode Teen/Billy was asked about was on the back of the directions for the Ouiji board and Billy/Teen replies "For ages 3 and up." In another reactor channel we watch, they had said the packaging of Ouiji boards is 7+. The reference of "for 3 and up" might be because Billy Maximoff has only been around for 3 years, this is including when he was created by Wanda and after being transferred to William Kaplan head lived a full 3 years old. The rules were modified to include him by making it for those 3 years and up.
I just rewatched episode 4, Rio’s entrance… where she crawled out of Sharon’s grave. I just caught that Billy said “Oh my God, did we turn Mrs. Hart into a zombie?” and Rio responds with “Heard you guys were having a party”… because Sharon would have told her she was “invited to a party” by Agatha. I love the finer details. They did not actually summon her. As Rio said, she was “in the neighborhood”. Can’t believe I didn’t hear this before.
This is a WONDERFUL video - love that for someone who wasn't able to watch it all until a few weeks after it came out, I can just watch this video rather than having to soft through the playlist and watch each individual one. Plus the idea that it has more from you all rewatching is amazing THANK YOU
Not gonna lie, I didn't particularly care for it at first, but stuck around because I was enjoying Katherine Hahn's and Patti LuPone's performances. Episode 7 was where it finally clicked for me and I realized how good the whole series was. I'm glad I stuck with it.
I only want a season 2 or Wiccan spinoff if Jac Schaeffer sticks around. She obviously is the only one who knows how to handle these characters with love and care. The fact Agatha is a VILLAIN (not an anti hero) and I could still generate some kinda of sympathy and emotion for her speaks volumes. The way Ryan Coogler over sees the Wakanda/Black Panther corner, Jac Schaefer needs to over see the Witches/Magic corner.
It was really well done and I'm glad Marvel did this. It actually helps the entire MCU make a little more sense. And bring new questions to the story ... We want more!
The Wiccan spinoff will happen. Probably a full movie given the hype since the show. Now if we can somehow turn that dumb Scar character into hulkling then we're good to go

I LOVED Season 1. Can’t wait for VisionQuest which is basically part 3 of the story of Wanda and her family. This show is peak. Great soundtrack. Obviously the show runners and cast were enjoying making the project. Their passion shines through in the quality of the content. Great writing. Inspired overall. Marvel firing on all cylinders. If Marvel just keeps doing stuff with this level of passion and creativity, everything they do is going to hit hard. If Captain America or Thunderbolts are anywhere near the quality of this or Deadpool & Wolverine, we are in for a treat. Fingers crossed that the end of phase 5 and all of phase 6 is this good.

And knowing what we know now, it's more likely that she was humming the version that she made with Nicky. This means that subconciously, without the Darkhold influencing her mindstate and in a state of Wanda-induced hypnosis, she returned to the version of her that's filled with motherly love for her child, before she lost it all when she succumbed to hatred after losing Nicky. Perhaps in her mind as a detective/her head-cannon, she also created this song with Nicky when he was still living/alive in Westview with her.

Hi Screen Crush…I’ve notice something that nobody has talked about…regarding the statement that Agatha made stating that in a 3 mile radius, you will find witches, William/Billy has inadvertently been in the presence of 3 of the witches. William meet Lilia at his bar mitzvah, Alice was present as a EMT worker, when William’s parents crashed the car, and Billy was a fan of Jennifer’s through social media.
So now that’s three non truths Jenn is walking (flying) away with: Agatha traded Nicky for the Book of the Damned, the Witches Road is real and she survived it.
I just thought how Agatha said she didn't want to see Rios face when she comes for her maybe that means after the show she will appear with the skull face like in the comics
I wonder if Having the body appear as if it was Wanda is a Symbol that the Scarlet Witch is Dead, but Wanda still lives on. Like she purged the Darkness from herself.
That was my take away. That when we see her again, she'll be trying to remember her truest self, so Agatha and Billy help, and Billy accepts her as a bonus mom when he sees how much she still cares. He wasn't abandoned, nor was she selfishly hiding (like Agatha)
Thank you so much for bringing nuance to Agatha. I hate how people have been saying she's a horrible person, a villain from begging to end. I completely disagreee. You can see how trauma played a lot into her decisions. She's a witch and, like you said, powerful witches will end up hurting people they love. It's not that different from what Wanda did. Billy, too.
Hmm...the main difference between Wanda and Agatha seems to me that Wanda undid/tried to undo/stopped the pain and damage she was inflicting (which she wasn't even aware of in WV). Agatha didn't really stop with her absorption shtick (which she seemed to revel in and, after the first time, consciously caused to happen), even when she stopped absorbing Billy she said afterwards that this was a "calculated" risk. Not to contradict you, mind, but Agatha, while she is sympathetic and does have traumatic reasons, is closer to a villan than an anti-hero to me.
I think Lilia’s reference at the beach house to a friend’s oven and nice house was a callback to Tales From the Darkside: The Movie, where Debby Harry is a witch who meets her demise in an oven, large enough to cook children.
Lilia listed the fifth member of the coven as a drawing of a black heart. Billy's boyfriend, Eddie, texted him "You're my 🖤" before he went inside Agatha's house. As the Lilia's sigil is still in effect when Agatha and Billy visited to recruit her, she couldn't name the 5th member of the coven.
"It is possible to break out of a spell when the caster is dead". I think it's the opposite. Strange said trying to break a dead man's spell is "troublesome". Meaning it's hard/er to do than when they are alive (as you can torture them enough so they break it themselves, which are the only ones able to do that). So, the magic doesn't suddenly dissipate. And it takes someone of the same or greater power AND that has a similar magic as the one who cast the spell (Billy is Wanda's son after all) to break that spell. Agatha and Rio wouldn't have been able to break it, at least not for a long time.
Yeah at this point I realized that they just edited together what they already said in order in one video and didn't go back and reanalyze the whole series.

So, here's my interpretation... Jen was freaking out at the idea that she was the one who bound herself, due to the trauma of the event in her past. She absolutely could not accept that. So, Agatha decided to give her a villain to fight against. She came up with a quick lie that allowed Jen to target her, to give her a focus to reclaim her mental control of her own life and power, and thereby unbind herself. After all, it's so much easier to fight an external enemy than to realize you are your own enemy. In short, I think Jen's entire binding was psychosomatic, and Agatha used a psychological trick to help her out of it. And, perhaps most importantly, this fits better with the theme. After all, if Agatha bound Jen, then the theme is that women are the enemy of women. But if Jen bound herself, then the theme is that women hide their own power due to trauma inflicted on them by evil men in positions of power.
I 100% agree with this!! So well said. I also think it fits better with Agatha's journey/personality. She understands how people view her and what evils they believe she is capable of. Rightly so or not, no matter what she does, she will remain the bad guy to them. So she barely had to say a word for Jen to believe that it was Agatha's fault. No specifics. Nothing. I absolutely believe that, knowing that Jen wouldn't question whether Agatha was capable of such a thing, she made herself the bad guy that everyone sees her as. And, as you said, became that external force for Jen to conquer inorder to break her own bounds. Which is kind of badass of them both honestly.

Hindsight theory for episode 5: Agatha has planned for someone from the coven to attack her and steal their power. Agatha knows that the road is being created by Billy because she invented it as a scam. (I don't know if this is normal or just in the MCU to start a session or incantation with that “maiden, mother, crone...” phrase, but in the first Ouija round, Agatha spins it around to “mother, maiden, crone...” so it wouldn't trigger a real session!?) She pretends it's Sharon Davis by spelling out Mrs. Hart on the board. If it were Sharon, she would spell her real name. But this is just Agatha turning Billy's “Witches‘ Road” against her by taunting the spirits so that a ghost that would be summoned would haunt her. Then, when someone tries to save her by attacking the ghost, Agatha is given the opportunity to steal their power. Also: The Ouija was for ages 3 and up - in fact, Billy is actually only alive for 3 years.
I just realized, agatha asked Rio not to take Billy. Rio struggs her shoulder. She obviously knew he was billy maximoff and did not want to take him because he would have just jumped into another body. They probably knew the road would disappear if Billy dies because they both know the road is false
It is SO much better on a rewatch. You will be laughing out loud how obvious it all is, the clues were clueing. Especially once Rio shows up. "Why are you here?" "I'm doing my job." "Do you even remember why you hate me?"

What I just realized is when Agatha faked being Mrs. Davis, Rio new immediately that she was faking because Rio had just ferried Sharon into death. This is also why Rio was "in the neighborhood" after the group tried to summon a new green witch. I can't believe I didn't see that sooner.

Hoping for another season to hash out some things that didn't really get addressed like how did Agathario meet, why is Evanora so hateful toward here own daughter, how did Agatha get the Darkhold and what exactly did she do with it, and most importantly, who is watching Señor Scratchy?!?!?

I think the Point Reyes poster is a reference to the movie The Fog. Point Reyes is a real place and the Fog was filmed there. The poster is of the light house that is out there, where the radio station is in the movie. I've spent a lot of time there. My favorite place in California!

Nope. The reason witches appear as 3 in Macbeth is because Shakespeare took inspiration from Holinshed's Chronicles (1587), where three witches appear. Then, Shakespeare's work made the three witches trope become extremely popular, influencing pop culture to this day. However, the idea of three women was probably drawn from The Fates, from Greek Mythology. In fact, many cultures see the number 3 as sacred or mystical, witch many goddesses being represented in 3. Brigid, celtic goddess, was seen as three sisters. The triple goddess was never supposed to represent a woman's stage of life. They were often 3 young sisters. When not, as with Hekate, the goddess became triple, but again, all the same age. Summarizing, the number 3 has always been seen as a mystical number, in many different cultures. But not because of "Maiden, Mother, Crone" The Wiccan Triple Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone) is a very modern concept. It's beautiful and productive. But... It's a modern retelling and interpretation. And that's just as valid. But it's not historically accurate.

Hindsight theory for episode 5: Agatha has planned for someone from the coven to attack her and steal their power.
Agatha knows that the road is being created by Billy because she invented it as a scam. (I don't know if this is normal or just in the MCU to start a session or incantation with that “maiden, mother, crone...” phrase, but in the first Ouija round, Agatha spins it around to “mother, maiden, crone...” so it wouldn't trigger a real session!?) She pretends it's Sharon Davis by spelling out Mrs. Hart on the board. If it were Sharon, she would spell her real name. But this is just Agatha turning Billy's “Witches‘ Road” against her by taunting the spirits so that a ghost that would be summoned would haunt her. Then, when someone tries to save her by attacking the ghost, Agatha is given the opportunity to steal their power.
Also: The Ouija was for ages 3 and up - in fact, Billy is actually only alive for 3 years.

I just realized, agatha asked Rio not to take Billy. Rio struggs her shoulder. She obviously knew he was billy maximoff and did not want to take him because he would have just jumped into another body. They probably knew the road would disappear if Billy dies because they both know the road is false

I can’t wait to rewatch the whole series after knowing the ending. Really puts how Agatha acts into perspective
It is SO much better on a rewatch. You will be laughing out loud how obvious it all is, the clues were clueing. Especially once Rio shows up. "Why are you here?" "I'm doing my job."

Did anyone notice these small details too. When Alive starts playing the piano after seeing the curse her magic sparks for a moment? And is it just me or ine Agatha through time in the second coven scene is the second witch a man or just so blurry that the person seems like one?🤔
Don’t think they fully stuck the landing with the series but still one of the best thing marvel has done in phase 4

What I just realized is when Agatha faked being Mrs. Davis, Rio new immediately that she was faking because Rio had just ferried Sharon into death. This is also why Rio was "in the neighborhood" after the group tried to summon a new green witch. I can't believe I didn't see that sooner.

I think the Point Reyes poster is a reference to the movie The Fog. Point Reyes is a real place and the Fog was filmed there. The poster is of the light house that is out there, where the radio station is in the movie. I've spent a lot of time there. My favorite place in California!

I have not seen anyone post this. At 1:27:05, the yellow sticky note has 2MWN in the corners and makes up the lines in the sigil. If you cross them 2N = Twin and WM = Wanda Maximoff. Also ironic that the sticky note is yellow/gold like the mind stone in Vision's forehead.

Nope. The reason witches appear as 3 in Macbeth is because Shakespeare took inspiration from Holinshed's Chronicles (1587), where three witches appear. Then, Shakespeare's work made the three witches trope become extremely popular, influencing pop culture to this day. However, the idea of three women was probably drawn from The Fates, from Greek Mythology.
In fact, many cultures see the number 3 as sacred or mystical, witch many goddesses being represented in 3. Brigid, celtic goddess, was seen as three sisters. The triple goddess was never supposed to represent a woman's stage of life. They were often 3 young sisters. When not, as with Hekate, the goddess became triple, but again, all the same age.
Summarizing, the number 3 has always been seen as a mystical number, in many different cultures. But not because of "Maiden, Mother, Crone"
The Wiccan Triple Goddess (Maiden, Mother, Crone) is a very modern concept. It's beautiful and productive. But... It's a modern retelling and interpretation. And that's just as valid. But it's not historically accurate.
