I would love an entertainment-centric cookbook. Cocktails, appetizers, desserts. Which is how I would eat all the time if I could get away with it.

Hi John, would love to buy your cookbook! I think doing only desserts would be nice, and having all of the tips that are featured in your videos on paper would be super helpful! Maybe you could have a section dedicated to recipes (like the eclairs, cookies, etc) and another section specifically for cake decorating (technique, frostings, etc). Love your videos!
I would buy that cook book in a heart beat! A back to basics cookbook is a good idea because you don’t want to put all your recipes out there all at once but instead over the period of a couple of books. Let me just say I grew up without a mother figure to teach me recipes and watching your videos has helped me to make things from scratch and to be the best mom I can be to my daughter. You’re an inspiration! ❤️
I bet you'd have great success with a quasi cookbook filled with amusing stories of failures, kid interruptions, drunk cooking, and beautiful photos...life in the kitchen stuff, perhaps with sketches and illustrations etc. You're welcome.

Would love to see the cookbook be desserts specifically, but including pastries and cookies (rather than just cakes). I would buy it in an instant. I made your chocolate eclair recipe and they were amazing on my first try!
Edit: a drinks section could fit nicely in a dessert cookbook too.

Summer is coming and I plan to visit home (Vancouver) for my vacation. I absolutely love sangria and sangria blanc. Could you perhaps do a video on your take on them PLUS some food/desserts that pair well with sangria? Thanks again! Great vids!
I'd love a section on cakes, especially several pages on common pitfalls in cake baking and cake decorating. The best part of your macaron video was seeing you lay out all of the common mistakes so no one else has to make them. If you have something like that for cakes (and everything else), that would be incredibly helpful. Also, thank you for posting so many wonderful videos! They are so incredibly relaxing and wholesome.
Excited for the pav btw. One of many things Aussie's/Nz disagree about origin. It's named after a Russian ballerina Anna..pavlova.
Kiwi fruit and passion fruit pulp is my fav toppings.
Then strawberry/berry and choc mint crisp shards. N fresh cream... Delightful.

I think a Preppy Kitchen cookbook with hosting tips, savory appetizers, sweet, and drinks would be a cute idea. I would buy it.
You are an amazing cook/baker/teacher and just all around great young man. I finally tried your vanilla cupcakes and they were so simple and so delicious! My hubs ate all of them (dieting right now) so he was happy to have them all to himself. As other posters have commented perhaps a cookbook? I know there is a lot of work/money/time which goes into it, but I can only assume we would gladly wait for it to become a reality! I love to bake, so would love, love to see a cookbook on all your amazing pastries! Thanks so much for taking your time and sharing your knowledge with all of us.

Just ONE cookbook? I think you should do a dessert cookbook, an appetizer and cocktail cookbook, and a main dish cookbook! You could ask your Mom for help too! She is lots of fun.

If we're voting, I like the idea of a focused cake cookbook. But that's where I'm at in my culinary journey. I like your macaron video immensely. I haven't tried it yet, but I've had three less than stellar macaron experiences and I think your video will do the trick. Also, I purchased those macaron molds you used. That was a new one for me. I think those will help, too. I had been relying on just parchment with traced circles--old school!

Just discovered your channel while on maternity leave with my second kiddo and I love it so much! Currently am making your chipotle orange carnitas recipe for dinner tonight and have tried a few cake recipes. I would happily buy any cook book you published, with all recipes or just baking! Hello! I got to tell you ...I wake up and look forward to watching your channel!! I am not a baker, but whatever I make turns out good...it surprises me .....I found your Channel about 2 weeks ago...subscribed immediately ! And I have been binge watching 😍 excellent content . Excellent instructions, you're refreshing to watch and I can't believe you taught math and science and you are so creative. I have never seen that combination before .
You being self taught gives me the inspiration that I might have a Chance of becoming better at baking. How on earth , you don't sell these cakes ? Why not ? My sister pays over $120 for cakes that looks like yours !
You're the best dad any child can have ! Your love for them is very evident . Enjoy them while they are young cause they are at the best ages ,in spite of the tantrums.
When you said their snacks are "nana " ( bananas ) ... Straight away I know you're excellent dad. You're teaching them snack means fruit , not chips and cookies .

Cook Book! Are you kidding? Everything of course, especially your mixology tips and tricks. Wish that one was already done as summer is upon us here in the Great State of Texas. Mango Margaritas, Pineapple-colada's, muddlin' some Mojito's, along with a "light repast", (read: Ceviche' please).
Please answer my questions too.They are :
1.Is American buttercream good for buttercream roses or flower?
2.How can we make the same delicious cake without eggs?

I will buy your cookbook no mater what is in it. I hope there are lots of {new} cakes and dessert recipes with a few of them being diabetic friendly. Lots of photos in it please. A tools of the trade section please. Also a substitution section (if you don’t have xx use xx) that would also include how to use substitute sugars in your recipes. Hosting tips and tablescaping would be a fantastic bonus. But no matter what is in it...it will be in my kitchen. Bake on John! 250k! 😀

For the cookbook: Hosting and all the rest (recipes of all kinds, cake decorating tips) would be fabulous.
Cookbook suggestion: Desserts primarily, but maybe a few appetizers and entrees, but I think your desserts are so wonderful and should be the focus of the book. I have never heard of the band you like, and I can't find them online. Can you please tell me how their name is spelled? Thanks!!
Hello John, my son and I are fans of your channel - thanks for all the hard work! Quick question for you: what frosting do you make for a kid who (claims he) likes frosting, but doesn't like buttercream (any kind), cream cheese frosting, italian meringue or whipped cream? I mean, push comes to shove, he'll be getting italian lemon cake for his birthday, but any suggestions welcomed at this point! :) PS: We want the cookbook; we vote for an all encompassing ouvrage. :)

I just want to say I love love your videos! I am a self taught baker and decorator too :) i used to burn everything lol but i overcame my baking fear to make my daughter the cake she wanted (panda cake) amd have been ever since. :) im upgrading my baking materials do you have any brand of baking pans you recommend?
