A shade cloth with no trees around? Interesting they must take a lot of high light most orchids want a good shade from trees and sun in the morning
There’s just something off about calling this ‘America’s first’ when it’s in Hawaii… wonder how the Hawaiians feel about that…? 😢 Stolen property… it needs to go back to the Hawaiian people… isn’t there some place in America that can grow vanilla? 🤔🧐😢
When this Vanilla company started the business ,Hawaiian Islands was part of USA for 50 years already . It’s the first commercial vanilla company .

Hawaii is the only place in the United States where vanilla can grow due to its location to the equator.
Sounds like you should boycott vanilla all together, since a slave figured out how to actually grow vanilla without native bees.
Wow, there plants look awful. When you see happy vines you'll know the difference. Aloha!
Aloha!
You mentioned that all the farms sell out of vanilla. Who is buying? Who's the customer base
Everyone likely. Bakers, Kitchen suppliers, grocery stores. Vanilla is even higher demand than chocolate and it's running into growing issues in it's native range due to changing weather patterns. But it's harder to grow than chocolate.
😂 I don't think Hawaii is in America
It’s America since 1959
@@ExploreWithEugenstolen property… people were [x] to make them accept ‘becoming part of America’ It should never have happened… just like La Hiena (spelling ?) Land grabs are ugly stains … Sorry but true… my friend was a Hawaiian princess that remembered those days and stories passed down to her … sooo sad 😔
