I agree. Tampering with evidence I think that is indisputable. However, I think they established that the violence of her husband had been escalating as evidenced from the black eye witness testimony, witness testimony of the doors being kicked off the hinges twice, the doctor witness in Memphis describing her injuries from DV, and the witness testimony of her sister about him cornering her in the closet and yelling calling her the "B" word. Also, if she intended to kill him why only stab him once in the shoulder? "Stand your ground" is clearly applicable

Could've gone either way. The issue with this case is that we only get one side of the story. She clearly lied on the stand but that doesn't mean she was guilty. However I still feel that someone who chose not to call the police and save a life, even after he couldn't do anything to her and was dying, should be second degree murder

Rest in peace to the husband but I think she's not guilty..if she intends to kill him, she would have done more and worst having that 11hours but she didn't..I can't blame her action afterwards because I myself is not in my right mind when I'm panicking, I saw my son bleeding after his bike accident and I ended up just sitting and trembling and can't look at him no more, great my sister and friend was there to bring him at the hospital...so I believe people are different in handling trauma

I think it's kinda cool though, how he doesn't just play that game. Not much pandering you're going to get with him, at least some jurors must find that annoying. 'Poor woman' just did pretty well with the verdict. The prosecutor's over-enthusiasm by contrast, don't know if you saw him, has been almost viscerally off-putting. But I recognise he had the tougher job of course, going up against the truth.

This is a short trial because there's no cause to prosecute her.
    She stabbed in Self-defense.
Why the state never brought a knife battle expert to clarify the scope of the time that kind of wound keeps bleeding to death.
Military experience personnel knows, because arm pit is a lethal point used as target undergoing knife battles.
This was fast, she reacts and her physical complexion helps body motion to accomplish this outcome.
That's why non of them had defensive wounds.
