Little Idea for your drawer system would be a little clip or other form of filament holder to attach to the drawer fronts. You could then clip in a short piece of filament in from the spools that are in the drawer. Having just "PLA standard colors" could mean anything, but I guess you know really well what to find in each.
@drstefankrank great minds think alike! I do have something for that, I just don't use it. But I designed something for people that want to see the actual filaments in the drawer

Nice video Igor and great initiative ! If I may suggest a new filament testing video, I think that testing z-polymer tullomer would be Amazing. There is no proper test, and this is the closest to a real engineering filament there is (if the claims are true). It's really expensive for sure and I can understand if it's not worth it for you. Keep up the good work!
I think I'll submit something i made some custom brackets to add an extra battery to my partners e bike recently and i couldnt of done that withiut 3d printing and fusion.
I find it so much harder to get good quality prints with PETG, while PLA is far easier to print. On a BambuLab P1S I have way more bed adhesion and stringing issues even using BL filament. Others don’t have these issues? Or it is worth putting up with them for better properties for heat and water resistance?
Mine? All of the functional prints I've designed over the years... What i hate about designing functional prints? All of the waste that's produced that will end up in landfill and that's with me printing the bare minimum of a part needed to test its fit, and designing so it doesn't require support material, using sacrificial bridging and every other trick i can think of to save wasting print material. Still produces a lot of waste that we still haven't got a solution for.
I must learn to use petg now, can u do practical video when/ where petg will survive or fail. And abs maybe because of their low layer adhesion problem
ABS is super for long term functional printing. PetG is pretty nice too but will break under load more on some items we use. I recently tried Sunlu/Jayo brand newer Easy ABS and it prints easy without being enclosed as well as seems to be at or almost at standard ABS in different attributes. I just printed some scaled up carbiners we use to hold customer chainsaw chains I normally make out of regular ABS. It will be interesting to see how they hold up. PLAs have a almost 100% fail rate while PetG does have a 100% fail rate. While ABS is amazing to see what people do. A customer leaves with their tag and 3 sharp large chains and brings a batch of 10 or more and I marvel how the carbiner can survive that weight even in the summer.
@@gitss7367 yeah I use abs too all the time, just curious when/where the low layer adhesion will be Hugh problem. And petg have so many varian, more than abs so I want to try it too. Pla just won't survive our climate here.
I am also very impressed with ABS. Print quality seems as good as PLA but with more resistant properties. PETG seems too difficult to print for relatively few advantages over PLA
@@MyTechFun Based on those findings i dared to order a 3D printed aluminium bracket that i designed, which be subjected to constant loading. Hope its good enough:)

That was a great video idea Igor. Love it. Some excellent things in there and I confess to using (sometimes adapting) a few from FPF - thanks! I have no interest in figures and trinkets - functional parts are the real value of a 3D orinter to me. That's why I also love your content so much (and refer people to it whenever someone asks about material properties on Reddit for example). I lnow its against your professional ethics but it would be interesting to know eho asked for money - that thinking should be discouraged. Why have a channel on 3D printing if youbwant money for things? Well, for ad revenue of course. While I am happy for YT channels to get ad money because I watched a video, if that is the main purpose rather than teaching (like Michael) or helping people (lihe FPF) then I dont want to support thatvattitude Your channel, and the two I mentioned, pmus a host of others are the ones I want to support so I shall be looking up the creators who oarticipated here and seeing if I want to subscribe. Those who wanted money missed a chance to promote their channel for free. Keep up the good work - I wish I could support you on Patreon but living on a pension rules out a lot of expenses.

While I am happy for YT channels to get ad money because I watched a video, if that is the main purpose rather than teaching (like Michael) or helping people (lihe FPF) then I dont want to support thatvattitude
Your channel, and the two I mentioned, pmus a host of others are the ones I want to support so I shall be looking up the creators who oarticipated here and seeing if I want to subscribe.
Those who wanted money missed a chance to promote their channel for free.
Keep up the good work - I wish I could support you on Patreon but living on a pension rules out a lot of expenses.
