Helloo, Im from mauritius awesome video thank u so much🙏
Great presentation & at 70yrs old, this is exactly the way that I use a special turmeric powder blend, to counter my Knee & finger Osteoarthritis pain!
GREAT video!!! You're spot on with your information. The only thing is . . . there is this ongoing debate about the use/non-use of pepper with turmeric. It's all so confusing.
I recently learned that I have untreatable lung cancer, due to its position on my lung I have begun experimenting with Turmeric and it seems to be helpful. My neighbors from India and Bangladesh are good teachers, I am not looking for a cure. I hope to be able to function and maintain average abilitities, with dignity and grace both physically and mentally. Thanks for putting me on a good path.

Have you heard of Dr Joe Dispenza? He has a channel on here (RUclips ) which you may find helpful. It has 100’s of testimonials from people who’ve healed from chronic conditions ~ including stage 4 cancer. ❤ he also has some really life changing books about people who healed ( went into spontaneous remission) regardless of being told by doctors / medical professionals that their conditions were incurable .
either way, I hope you get better my friend ! ♾

A few years back I was unwell and was diagnosed to diabetes 2, I changed my diet and reduced carbs, and started using TURMERIC in my next check up with the Doctor he was shocked to note that I was no longer diabetic.
It is wonderful stuff if used correctly.

If you do IF , tumeric is not necessarily
@@hungrytime3343 necessarily (adv.)
late 14c., necesserili, "inevitably, unavoidably, so that it cannot be otherwise," from necessary (adj.) + -ly (2). As "a necessary result or consequence" from c. 1500.
aid (n.)
early 15c., aide, "war-time tax," also "help, support, assistance," from Old French aide, earlier aiudha "aid, help, assistance," from Late Latin adiuta, noun use of fem. of adiutus, past participle of Latin adiuvare "to give help to," from ad "to" (see ad-) + iuvare "to help, give strength, support, sustain," which is from a PIE source perhaps related to the root of iuvenis "young person" (see young (adj.)).
The meaning "thing by which assistance is given" is recorded from 1590s; the sense of "person who assists, helper" is from 1560s. The meaning "material help given by one country to another" is from 1940.
if (conj.)
"in case that; granting, allowing, or supposing that; on condition that;" also "although, notwithstanding that," Old English gif (initial g- in Old English pronounced with a sound close to Modern English -y-) "if, whether, so," from Proto-Germanic *ja-ba (source also of Old Saxon, Old Norse ef, Old Frisian gef, Old High German ibu, German ob, Dutch of "if, whether"), of uncertain origin or relation. Perhaps from PIE pronominal stem *i- [Watkins]; but Klein, OED suggest it probably originally from an oblique case of a noun meaning "doubt" (compare Old High German iba "condition, stipulation, doubt," Old Norse if "doubt, hesitation," Swedish jäf "exception, challenge"). As a noun from 1510s.

How did you use the Turmeric? With oils? With milk? As a tea? Thanks in advance for your response.
@@macrapidito1 I tried it in warm milk, but did not like the taste, however by adding some natural honey it became rather nice, now be careful with honey as some brands are not as natural as one would wish, but nature honey is good. I mostly used it with meat dishes, a few mild curries types and I did like a kind of back and scrabbled egg mix that I added it to.
Your point is a valid one as without the use of nature fat base or oil it is rather ineffective, be very careful with choosing oils though not all are very good for one, what we eat greatly effects us, turmeric alone is not going to solve the issues but it will help a lot if used in the correct manner with the right foods.
I lived in Italy for 13 years and had no issues, it was only after returning to the UK that I developed diabetes, since then I have been looking closely at what is in fact in the kinds of processed foods so really consumed here, and it is shocking to say the least, I reduced sugars and carbs, though did not cut them out, here is the thing, it is not so much the category of food stuff, but rather the quality and of course the quantity, high proceed foods, particular carb based ones just don't fuel the system, yes you will get some energy and some nutrients out of it, and it will fill you up, but the there is a lot of waste which the body has problems dealing with, and this causes health issues, my way, and this is only my way, as each and everyone needs to understand what their own body requires and understand what their gut biome is made up of, is to go a long while without snacking and then have one main meal a day, it works for me, but I advise that you cautiously examine what works best for you.
Be well and sorry for the long response, I do hope that somewhere in there I managed to answer your question.
Finally someone stating that pure turmeric powder is what you want. Don't rely on the curcumin derived capsule. I ad a heaping teaspoon of organic turmeric powder (with black pepper premixed into it) stirred into a few ounces of water daily. Then just gulp it down. Some form of fat is eaten at the same time. I am on my 16th year of that.
My morning drink is ~ 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1teaspoon cinnamon, 1teaspoon coffee , pinch black pepper , plenty of oat milk , squirt honey and boiling water . Beautiful drink ..love it
Great but you still need to add some fat for absorption. What about some olive oil?

I watched about six vedeos about turmeric they were long and a little boring.yours was precise and get to the point in an informative and brief way.❤
I have heard many presentations about Turmeric. You are the only one who explains the difference between turmeric and curcumin and that curcumin is just one of several compounds in turmeric and what happens when you take curcumin which has been removed from its natural state. Thank you for the clarity of this presentation.
I have just recently been using turmeric in to my life I make the drink at night time I use almond milk, black pepper, and an turmeric. I love it and it is very good. I sleep very well. I use it mostly to illuminate me getting sick all the time I’ve been learning how to use it on my food but the best part I hear is to make it warm or hot and with black pepper. I’m learning a lot about it and I love it. Thank you sweetheart for your advice.

Bro, you don't have to be Indian to eat like an Indian. How many fat Indians do you see? Very few.
I have success growing tumeric in in pots from a few store bought roots. Very pretty leaves as well🌿
Tumeric leaves can be used in cooking and boil as herbal tea..add some lemon juice..no sugar
Cup of warm water, add
(1) one teaspoon turmeric powder
(2) pinch of black pepper
(3) add a teaspoon of ghee, or coconut oil or olive oil.
You can also use milk instead of water

I took turmeric in gel-caps some years ago when I was still working and didn't notice much difference in my blood glucose readings. In May 2022 I started craving Turmeric Rice for some reason and one night I gave in and made a pot. I'm a male so don't go there with the strange craving thing and my wife is about have her 68th birthday. I ate three bowls that night and was expecting to have a fasting glucose of 130mg/dL, 7.22mmol/L, or higher the next day. Imagine my surprise when my glucose meter showed 81mg/dL, 4.5mmol/L. To be sure it was the turmeric I experimented with it and when I didn't have it my glucose rose towards its normal range. Well, a couple of weeks later blood work was done and I got the results back the following week when I saw my doctor. Everything read 'normal' and this was the first time he did not chastise me about anything plus my weight had dropped 12 pounds since the last time I saw him. I have found that it is better for me to just cook with it than take a gel-cap. I also put a pinch of turmeric and ginger and sometimes cinnamon in my first cup of coffee in the morning. Since I've been cooking with turmeric my lowest fasting glucose has been 79mg/dL, 4.38mmol/L, and my blood pressure has also dropped. Yes, I'm a Type 2 Diabetic and a heart patient so when my doctor was pleased for a change I was also pleased...
Thanks for the confirmation and encouragement, I put turmeric and pepper on my eggs cooked in olive oil, so I’ve covered your three points, thanks.
Add some Heng..in every food..
I have been taking turmeric in pill form daily. Now ill make sure to add it to my veggies with the oil in the beginning and have my golden milk before bed. Glad to hear that Almond, coconut milk work because that's all I drink. Thank you
A most amazing health benefit. I take it daily in drinks and cooking.I use the root and grate it. I'm lucky to have a grocer who supplies me every week. It is excellent for arthritis and aches and pains.
1. Have turmeric in its raw form instead of curcumin pills or tablets, 2. always add a source of fat when consuming turmeric it will help in absorption of curcumin, 3 add a pinch of black pepper to further enhance the absorption of curcumin in the body
Thankyou !!!
Without the Pepper. It's a Waste of time. It Won't absorb
is powder considered raw? TY.
Actually, there are plenty of excellent turmeric/curcumin supplements out there. You just have to know what you're buying and be willing to pay more for a high quality formulation. I don't want to deal with having to mix up a concoction and drink it, so I take an excellent Sports Research gel cap which already contains everything necessary for maximum absorption. It has been very effective for me. The problem is that most people buy the cheapest lowest quality supplements and then complain when they don't see any benefits.
@@dlg5485 The powder I mentioned before is actually in organic spice form in a spice bottle. It's touted to be high quality, so hopefully it's good. What benefits have you seen from taking it? Thanks.
You know what you are talking about. Thank you for your time and efforts 🙏
Thank you for your highly informative video regarding Curcumin. Actually in countries were curcumin is consumed India, china, lots of countries in Asia, islands in the Caribbean with a large Asian descendant population ( Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago ) the cases of Alzheimer are lower due to the fact that curcumin compounds taken for many years eliminates the amyloids( a protein) which gather in the brain causing Alzheimeres disease. This research-study was conducted a few years ago.
in china turmeric is not available as spice
Recent studies in the United States suggest that the formation of amyloid plaque may be the result of a immune response against common oral bacteria, found in the gums and nasal cavity. Poor oral hygiene and even nose picking are thought to introduce these bacteria to the brain by way of the olfactory nerve channel.
Sho u right!
Happy that research is being done on turmeric benefits. This spice has been around for millennia and I am glad we can find a correlation between turmeric and health.

The best way to eat turmeric is in cooking, e.g. various curries, yellow rice, wrapped grilled seafood, satay, etc. Many Asian dishes have turmeric in it. Not only that it's good for you, but it also tastes good.
Yes, I've turned my youngest brother on to it. I made turmeric rice one day and let my next door neighbor try it and she liked it. Said it tasted better than she thought it would.
Are there other spices in yellow rice, other than turmeric?
@@gtennier, in mine? Yes. I will put turmeric, garlic, ginger, paprika, 1 stalk finely chopped celery, 1/4 finely chopped bell pepper, onion powder or 1/4 finely chopped onion, chili powder, salt, black pepper which helps turmeric get into your system. I'll even put in frozen peas, carrots mix or broccoli, cauliflower, carrot mix cut up into bite size pieces. How you do yours is entirely up to you. I also add a couple drops of olive oil and a pat of butter.
I've been drinking a turmeric tea made from ground turmeric, ground ginger, ground cinnamon and ground black pepper. I will add a teaspoon of MCT oil from now on.
Came very close to buying Turmeric in capsule form until I came across your video, thank you for putting up this video, very informative, liked and subscribed x
You can buy it in capsule form if you get a quality turmeric with black pepper. In fact a solid company who sells it is Natures Truth who you can find it at your local supermarket (USA). Another source is a HIGH quality turmeric capsule sold by Info Wars, at their Info Store website. Problem is they sell out of it quickly and may take weeks to get it in stock. So if you are able get several, at least 3 bottles. Because they work so well, it is hard for them to keep in stock. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. God bless.

So the easiest way is to eat it raw! Without fat?
It seems that only a few people know that there are two varieties of raw turmeric, one orange color and the other white.
The white one tastes like raw mango!
We always used salt, pepper, turmeric and tamarind paste for fried bhendi!
Salt pepper and turmeric was also used (the standard) for scrambled eggs and many (self taught ) people upload videos, missing out the turmeric!
Hey Nirupama,
I am here to improve my pronunciation and to boost my fluency 😅
It Really works,,, wait wait not turmeric, your english 😊😊
Since we do not eat curries at home everyday I make golden paste in both a sweet version (honey and sweet spices) and a savory version, (no sugar or sweet spices) That way it's always there mixed with fat ad pepper and ready to be added to foods whenever I think if it. I've been adding the savory one to my butter or ghee before I fry eggs.
Please provide a recipe, if u can, thanks
I just mixed 3/4tsp of organic turmeric powder + 1/4tsp ground black pepper + 1tsp of extra virgin olive oil and mashed it together in a bowl with the back of a spoon. It wasn't terrible and I'll do this more often and I'll try putting it in my food when it won't clash. I'm sure my lips are orange right now.

Wonderful, and many thanks!
Important compound in Turmeric is Curcumin. Normal varieties of turmeric contain 2 to 3 percent of curcumin where as LAKADONGA variety and some other varieties said to contain 8 to 10 percent of curcumin. It dissolves in fat. So add butter ,ghee or oil etc. Another aspect is add some pepper. Pepper contain a compound called Pepparin which enhances the absorption by2000 percent.
