      @@lseasto That sounds like a great approach to supporting your health! Bromelain and turmeric both have strong anti-inflammatory properties, making them excellent choices for managing cold symptoms and enhancing overall wellness. Turmeric milk, or "golden milk," is a popular and soothing way to consume turmeric before bed, and trying turmeric water is another excellent option, especially if you're looking for a lighter alternative. I hope you find the turmeric water just as beneficial. Let us know how it goes, and if you notice any differences when using it! Thanks for sharing your routine.

    I see things like using olive oil or coconut oil. I actually have been making it with coconut milk for the fat. Does that work or have I been doing it wrong?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  3 дня назад +1

      Using coconut milk is a fantastic way to make turmeric water! The fat in coconut milk helps enhance the absorption of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, just like olive or coconut oil would. You're definitely not doing it wrong-in fact, you've created a variation similar to "golden milk," which is a traditional and effective way to consume turmeric. Keep it up, and enjoy the added creaminess and health benefits! 😊

    Hi
    What will be better to take the organic tumeric or tumeric tablets?
    Thank you

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  2 месяца назад

      Both organic turmeric and turmeric tablets offer potential health benefits, but they have different pros and cons:
      Organic Turmeric:
      • Natural: Provides a whole-food source of turmeric with potential additional nutrients and compounds.
      • Taste: Can be used in food or beverages for a natural flavor.
      • Absorption: May have better absorption due to the presence of other compounds in the whole food.
      Turmeric Tablets:
      • Convenience: Pre-measured and easy to consume.
      • Standardized: Often contain a standardized amount of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric.
      • Potency: Can offer a higher concentration of curcumin than turmeric powder.
      Ultimately, the best choice for you depends on your personal preferences and dietary needs. If you prefer a natural approach and enjoy the taste of turmeric, organic turmeric might be a better option. If you're looking for a convenient and standardized dose of curcumin, turmeric tablets could be a good choice.
      It's also worth noting that some people may find one form more effective than the other. You might want to try both and see which one works best for you.

    Hello doctor if a person has stomach ulcers, is it safe to drink tumeric water together with black pepper?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  19 часов назад

      If you have stomach ulcers, it’s best to be cautious with turmeric water, especially when combined with black pepper. While turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that can potentially help with healing, black pepper may irritate the stomach lining and worsen symptoms for some people with ulcers. It’s always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider before adding turmeric and black pepper to your routine to ensure it’s safe for your specific condition. Your doctor can guide you on the best way to incorporate these remedies, if appropriate. Take care!

      Làm nước nghệ bằng cách giã nhuyễn nghệ tươi, vắt lấy nước thì được không? Hay làm nước nghệ bằng tinh bột nghệ pha với nước?
      Vì tôi nghe nói nghệ tươi có chứa một thành phần nào đó độc, chỉ khi làm thành tinh bột thì nó mới hết chất độc và chỉ giữ lại các chất tốt. Thông tin này có đúng không? Nhờ bạn trả lời giúp!!

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Месяц назад +1

      @@thachthuchoctienghan1namth562 Cảm ơn bạn đã đặt câu hỏi này. Đây là một câu hỏi rất hay và nhiều người cũng thắc mắc về cách sử dụng nghệ hiệu quả nhất.
      Làm nước nghệ bằng cách giã nhuyễn nghệ tươi, vắt lấy nước: Cách làm này hoàn toàn có thể thực hiện được và mang lại nhiều lợi ích cho sức khỏe. Nghệ tươi chứa nhiều curcumin - hoạt chất có tác dụng chống viêm, chống oxy hóa rất tốt. Tuy nhiên, để cơ thể hấp thu curcumin tốt hơn, bạn nên kết hợp nghệ tươi với một chút dầu ăn (ví dụ: dầu oliu) khi xay nhuyễn. Dầu sẽ giúp tăng khả năng hòa tan của curcumin trong cơ thể.
      Làm nước nghệ bằng tinh bột nghệ pha với nước: Cách này cũng rất phổ biến và tiện lợi. Tinh bột nghệ đã được qua xử lý, loại bỏ một số tạp chất và cô đặc curcumin nên dễ sử dụng hơn. Tuy nhiên, tinh bột nghệ thường có giá thành cao hơn nghệ tươi.
      Về thông tin nghệ tươi có chứa chất độc:
      Thông tin này không hoàn toàn chính xác. Nghệ tươi không chứa chất độc. Tuy nhiên, trong nghệ tươi có một số chất có thể gây kích ứng dạ dày nếu sử dụng quá nhiều hoặc không đúng cách. Khi chế biến nghệ tươi, việc loại bỏ phần vỏ và xay nhuyễn sẽ giúp giảm thiểu tình trạng này.
      Cả hai cách làm nước nghệ đều có ưu và nhược điểm riêng. Bạn có thể lựa chọn cách làm phù hợp với bản thân và sở thích. Nếu bạn muốn tận dụng tối đa lợi ích của nghệ tươi, hãy kết hợp nó với các loại thực phẩm giàu chất béo lành mạnh. Còn nếu bạn muốn sử dụng một sản phẩm tiện lợi hơn, tinh bột nghệ là một lựa chọn tốt.
      Một số lưu ý khi sử dụng nghệ:
      Liều lượng: Nên sử dụng nghệ với liều lượng vừa phải, tránh lạm dụng.
      Đối tượng không nên dùng: Phụ nữ mang thai, người bị rối loạn đông máu, người chuẩn bị phẫu thuật nên tham khảo ý kiến bác sĩ trước khi sử dụng.
      Kết hợp với các loại thực phẩm khác: Nghệ kết hợp rất tốt với các loại gia vị khác như tiêu đen, gừng, mật ong... giúp tăng cường hương vị và hiệu quả.
      Lời khuyên:
      Để có thông tin chính xác và đầy đủ hơn về việc sử dụng nghệ, bạn nên tham khảo ý kiến của bác sĩ hoặc chuyên gia dinh dưỡng.
      Hy vọng những thông tin trên sẽ giúp bạn giải đáp được thắc mắc.
      Chúc bạn sức khỏe!
      Nếu bạn có bất kỳ câu hỏi nào khác, đừng ngần ngại hỏi nhé!

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  6 месяцев назад +6

      You're right about "golden milk" or turmeric latte-it's a delicious and popular way to enjoy turmeric! Mixing turmeric with a fat source like the milk in golden milk does indeed help with the absorption of curcumin. The fats act as a carrier, helping curcumin to be more readily absorbed by the body. This method combines both warmth and fat, which can enhance the bioavailability of the beneficial compounds in turmeric. Thanks for sharing your preference, and it's a fantastic reminder that there are various enjoyable ways to incorporate turmeric into our diets! 😊

      @@tazbunful Absolutely, you've made a great point! Fat does indeed play a critical role in enhancing the absorption of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric. This is especially helpful if you're consuming turmeric in water or tea. Thanks for highlighting this essential tip and sharing some good options for healthy fats that can be paired with turmeric!

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Месяц назад

      Dissolving turmeric in hot water and stirring is generally the preferred method. Boiling turmeric can reduce the potency of curcumin, the main active compound in turmeric.
      By adding turmeric powder to warm (not boiling) water, you can release the compounds without compromising their effectiveness. You can also add a squeeze of lemon or a dash of black pepper to enhance curcumin absorption.

    For a week I've been drinking turmeric water, and it does help me sleep but does anyone know if that can make you feel fatigued the next day all day

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  6 месяцев назад +5

      It's great to hear that turmeric water has been helping with your sleep! Regarding feeling fatigued the next day, turmeric typically doesn't cause fatigue and is often used to boost overall energy levels due to its anti-inflammatory properties. However, everyone's body reacts differently to dietary changes. The fatigue could be unrelated, or your body might be adjusting to a new routine. It might be helpful to look at other factors like your overall diet, hydration, and sleep quality. If the fatigue persists, it might be a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider to ensure there's no underlying issue. Keep monitoring how you feel, and maybe adjust the amount of turmeric you use to see if that changes anything.

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  Месяц назад

      While some studies suggest that turmeric may have potential benefits for blood pressure, more research is needed to confirm its effectiveness.

      Yes, you can boil fresh turmeric to make a potent and flavorful drink. Boiling can help extract the beneficial compounds from the turmeric root. You can add honey to sweeten the drink to your liking.
      While black pepper can enhance the absorption of curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, it's not strictly necessary. Honey can still provide sweetness and other potential health benefits.
      However, if you're concerned about the absorption of curcumin, you could consider adding a small amount of healthy fat, such as a teaspoon of olive oil or coconut oil, to your drink. This can help improve the absorption of curcumin.

It helps to soothe the skin and reduce flare-ups. I can’t stand the taste of turmeric. Instead I’ve been trying it in warm milk with ginger, pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, fennel, and star anise. It’s pretty good even without sugar. Maybe I will acquire the taste in water but not for now.

    • @AlinartHealth

      That's a great way to incorporate turmeric into your diet if you're not a fan of its taste on its own. The combination of spices you've mentioned creates a warm and flavorful drink. It's wonderful that you've found a way to enjoy turmeric's benefits without compromising your taste preferences.
      As for acquiring a taste for turmeric water, it's possible that your palate might change over time. You could try starting with a small amount of turmeric and gradually increasing it as you become more accustomed to the flavor. Or, you might continue to enjoy turmeric in your favorite drinks and meals.

    Its good for children?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  3 месяца назад

      Turmeric is generally considered safe for children in small amounts, such as those used in cooking. When it comes to turmeric water or supplements, it's always a good idea to be cautious and start with very low doses. The benefits of turmeric, such as its anti-inflammatory properties, can be helpful for children, but it’s important to consult with a pediatrician before starting any new supplement regimen for a child. This will ensure it's appropriate for their specific health needs and to avoid any potential interactions or side effects.

    Can you take a turmeric supplement and just open that and mix with water ?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, you can take a turmeric supplement capsule and open it to mix the powder with water. This is a convenient way to consume turmeric if you prefer not to measure out the powder. Just make sure to stir it well to ensure that the turmeric dissolves evenly in the water. Adding a pinch of black pepper can also help increase the absorption of curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric. This method can be an effective alternative to using raw turmeric powder.

    Can we boil turmeric powder instead of adding hot water ?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  3 месяца назад +1

      Great question! While boiling turmeric can extract some of its compounds, prolonged boiling can actually reduce the potency of curcumin, the main active ingredient. For optimal benefits, it's recommended to add turmeric powder to warm (not boiling) water. This helps release the compounds without compromising their effectiveness. You can also add a squeeze of lemon or a dash of black pepper to enhance curcumin absorption.

    Why take at night vs say, am?

    • @AlinartHealth
      @AlinartHealth  3 месяца назад +3

      Taking turmeric at night can be particularly beneficial because it allows the body to absorb and utilize its properties during sleep, a time when the body naturally focuses on healing and restoration. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of turmeric can help promote better sleep quality and reduce inflammation overnight. However, taking turmeric in the morning can also be effective, especially for boosting your metabolism and preparing your digestive system for the day. Ultimately, the best time can depend on your personal health goals and lifestyle.
