Thank you. I was taking tumeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper with a squeeze of lemon every morning but with cold water or cold tea. Now I have learned something new....add warm liquid! I will try. However I have had amazing results with the cold liquid. I am 80 years old and have not seen a doctor in 40 years. I just went plant based two months ago. Wow! What energy!!! Yesterday I ran up my first hill in minutes. Now I am on to your videos Dr. Mandell. Wow! Hey let's close down these hospitals! I'm from India 🇮🇳🙏.
Add the turmeric powder(cool ground) half spoon directly in vegetables and curry you prepare.
    2) half spoon powder in hot pasterused milk without sugar.
It helps get rid of throat infection.
By the way we use the leaf of turmeric as base while preparing traditional sweet dishes like Modak (search in google)
In India it is essential ingredient
We consume2.5 kg of pow der every year.
Coconut oil mixed with turmeric powder is applied on body before taking bath.
The powder is applied on both cheeks of married women when they are invited by another married woman when congregation of married women takes place.
Even the sindhoor applied on woman's forehead contains turmeric powder
    Don't hesitate to consume,go ahead
    It is nature gift.

Works fantastic on my arthritis for my ankle. Through silly things I have done in my youth, I have beaten my body up pretty good. Like falling off the trunk of moving cars , vehicle racing accidents, getting on a racehorse with no experience and someone spooking it among some a bunch of other stuff. I am a naturalist and abhor big pharma. About 3 years ago, the sins of my youth were starting to make themselves apparent. My ankle blew out in full arthritis, I could only hobble because the pain was very extensive. I did some research and came up with a recipe. I had taken a shot glass, put black pepper about the size of 3 grains of rice, then one half teaspoon of turmeric topped off with a third of a shot of extra virgin olive oil mix it up really well. Take in the morning and in the evening. It takes a while to kick in. This is a most fantastic anti inflammatory. This works on a molecular level not cellular. I have no pain whatsoever arthritically any where in my body and can now once again do my 10 kilometer walks 3 to 4 times per week. I swear by it. Do not go to your health food store. To expensive. Go to a bulk spice store and get what you need and fix yourself

My daily routine is taking a shot of; tumeric, black pepper, 1 tea spoon of avocado oil, half lemon, 2 tea spoons of apple cider vinager and water with a lil honey for taste .. Aside from that i also take all my daily vitamins with a peice of ginger and a raw garlic. It is important to crush or slice the garlic and let it sit approx ten minutes so it can produce allicin. This is non expensive and i do this every morning. Im 33 years old and havnt been sick in 15 years. My day is filled with good energy and i sleep great!

Dr. Mandell is right on the money with this one and best way illustrate this is: In India you will hardly ever see a senior citizen consume a turmeric beverage, it is always blended and cooked slow at low heat into food recipes for better absorption. Likewise with a different food, beet juice is okay but again, better absorption in a beet soup(borscht) with diced beets that have been lightly steamed, quality beet juice, carrot, cabbage, garlic, black pepper.

Turmeric is added to all our cooked vegetables, meat and fish dishes. Most of these dishes have Red chilli, green chilli or black pepper and oil. But only a small pinch is added to each dish. We wash vegetables and fish etc on water in which vinegar or turmeric is added to remove toxins. Turmeric is boiled in water and the cooled water is administered for mild food poisoning. Turmeric and cream is applied on the skin for glowing blemish free skin it is washed off with gram flour paste in water to remove vestiges of the yellow colour and oiliness

Hi, I've been taking turmeric for about 6 weeks now for a pain I've been having in my knee. This pain started in March and was so intense that I went to my doctor who gave me painkillers and it wasn't helping. Sent me for x-ray and it came back normal. He then told me to get turmeric tablets but I decided to take it in pure powder form in warm water as the pain was bad, really bad. After three days of drinking one teaspoon in warm water the pain subsided. Now the pain is completely gone and I continue to drink it every morning before I have anything at all. I used black pepper in it once and had heartburn the entire day so I discontinued the pepper. I can tell you it is amazing. NO MORE PAIN.

I don’t even notice the earthy taste of the turmeric, nor the pepper I’m so used to it. I always take turmeric with me when I travel, and I am a living testimony of the benefits turmeric has on inflammation and pain. By the way, alcohol cancels out the benefits of turmeric. I leave the drinking of wine for specials events and most of those times I skip the alcohol. The benefits of the turmeric is worth it!

Its great in all types of meat/ fish marination mixed with salt because of its anti bacterial properties. You can pickle the root in vinegar/lemon juice and salt and use it wherever you use pickled gherkins etc. A little turmeric powder with black pepper in hot water is great post a big dinner.

Drinking turmeric milk twice a day, morning and evening helped not just shrink my cancerous tumour but totally killed it. Oncologist was very surprised by results and asked me what I had done during Chemotherapy because I got 100% success rate at end of Chemo treatment. Turmeric milk is a common drink in Asian households. The benefits of this spice us well known as a healthy all-rounder. Drank with some black pepper, but of fat like coconut oil or olive oil, and soya milk will be absorbed into the cells. I cut out dairy because of the animal hormone in milk which was bad for breast cancer.

I’ve used coconut oil as a facial moisturiser for a long time. I’ve also started heating the coconut oil in turmeric root and gently heating this until it’s all infused in the oil then using this as a night time face moisturiser it’ll do wonders for your complexion.

I just mix warm water with a little black pepper and turmeric, sometimes I add cordyceps or reishi when I have it. It’s amazing what these spices combined with conventional medicine can do

A paleo blog gave me this recipe for a drink to make you sleep. Make a cup of chammomile tea (it has no caffeine) and add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened coconut milk, 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, a teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon of ginger, and stevia or raw honey to sweeten it. As you mentioned, the black pepper and coconut fat will increase the benefits of the turmeric.
My friend from India drinks this when she has the flu. It's soothing.

    love turmeric!
i actually started drinking this drink with spices the past couple of months after reading some really amzing life-changing benefits this doctor experienced from drinking this - he had artery and heart function of a 19 year old at the age of 67 - just by drinking these spices in water.
so i started drinking it too, i use cayenne pepper or african bird pepper (much hotter than cayenne but same compounds), turmeric, black pepper and ginger powders in a mug of hot hot water, let it sit for 20 minutes or so then drink it down, once or twice a day - but always once a day.
im only 31, but planning for a long healthy life - i dont want to suffer later on down the road, sso i am doing everything i can now to guarentee that the best i can!
i use about 3-4 grams of turmeric, about a half gram of black pepper, about a gram of african bird pepper or cayenne pepper, and about 2 grams of organic gorund ginger powder - all mixed together in a mug of water and down it :-)
i have been also adding in a couple squirts of blck seed oil into this mixture to help the turmeric curcuminoids to absorb :-)

Hi Dr Mandell, I'm on a little journey having prostate cancer, stage two. Now that I have found your channel and saw your documentation, I will follow your directions by using Turmeric in everything I eat from this day on. I eat well and do all the right things, and I want to beat it without any surgery in effort to keep my prostate. If there is anyone or anything anyone can recommend, I would be very grateful.
    Regards,
    Alexander

Thank you for commenting. Someone said stay away from that is great advise. If you thats a problem for you try raw honey. Also try to stay clear of processed foods. You (we) don't want to feed the problem or problems.
Knowledge is definitely power. So keep watching videos and read peoples comments there are treasures in some of their suggestions and experiences.
      Wishing you the best.🌞

Thank you for improving our knowledge of turmeric and absorbing a maximum amount of curcumin from it. Can I request that in addition to the coconut oil, can we also consider mixing it with kalonji (black seed) oil? Is it possible to mix ACV with turmeric, black pepper, coconut/kalonji oil, and honey in warm water as a drink first thing in the morning? I'm already having ACV, kalonji oil, and honey in warm water

Hello Doctor : I was researching how to correctly over winter my turmeric roots as I live in Maryland and they won't in our climate survive and this is my first year I have grown it. The lady said to use black pepper. I went to your web-page to let you know about this and found this other video. Once a day I take Atorvastatin 500 mg. Lisinopril 10-12.5 and, 500mg. Metformin twice a day . I was planning on starting 1tsp. Turmeric 1tsp. Ginger 1tsp. and 1tsp.beet root once a day they will all be dry power at the start of the year I asked my Doctor if this would be ok and she said yes. So now with this new information from you I'll be adding olive oil or some other oil and pepper and heating it up a little in the microwave once a day. I already have been taking a 1 1\2 Table spoons of vinegar first thing in the morning and again in the evening (w/ cold water 6 oz.) before meals. I'm thinking with breakfast or any meal as you said adding it as a spice would work. I quit drinking 15 months ago and packed on 15 lbs. . The vinegar seems to help the craving for sweets. I'll let you know how well that works in February after the next Doctor visit. Thank you for the information . Oh yea the lady in that video failed to mention using oils to bypass the liver. Great job again
