Here's a tip for everyone: if you love a frothy drink but don't have a fancy milk frother, pour the golden milk into a Mason jar, put the lid on and shake it up. You will get a beautifully foamy beverage this way

Having fibromyalgia when I first found the recipe for Golden milk and it's benefits I made it that very night and I can honestly say it really helps. I slept better the first night and not as much pain the next day. It has an amazing taste (though I've used coconut oil) that's rich. I like to keep my cup pretty warm as the taste changes as it cools, but don't let that keep you from drinking it. Also I want to mention
That a friend's hands were swollen from arthritis so much he could barely bend his fingers. That night he drank 2 cups of Golden milk before bed and woke the next morning with no swelling no stiffness and hardly any pain! 🧡😊

I enjoy golden milk many different ways. A cinnamon stick works too just fish it out along with the ginger after steeping. In the summer months I leave the ginger out because it's a warming spice. If you like cocoa or Cardamom, they also work well in golden milk.

Hi Robin, I just made this recipe and it was amazing! I loved your cinnamon addition. I have made a slightly different variant in the past by adding in some nut butter, and vanilla essence. I also make a slightly different golden turmeric paste for my dog that has arthritis. It is turmeric powder, water, coconut oil and freshly ground pepper, and I occasionally add ginger if I have fresh; and I have been able to keep him limp free and off western medication.

For your consideration, because turmeric is fat soluble, it is better to start first by melting some butter then adding turmeric and the rest of ingredients. Last year, I reversed (eliminated) my pre diabetic by drinking this golden milk every night for about 4 weeks.

This sounds absolutely delicious, and I’m go into try it tonight .
Just a suggestion; if you use whole milk vs almond or other non fat types , you will not need to add the butter for the fat. It is important that turmeric is taken with some form of fat for absorption.
I have taken turmeric for several years now, and the pain relief results are profoundly better when I take it in the evening with approx 6 oz of whole milk.

Drshave a practice. They examine, determine a prognosis, and use you to practice. If prescriptions cause side affects you will be prescribed something to counteract the symptoms, or if the symptoms continue?....change to a different prescription. Practice. If you get better science has won. If you do not get better they will surgically remove or correct the problem. If that does not work eventually you die. Mortality wins again. Best one finds where they are going and if there is something more than money motivating what is done to your body. Dont be stupid

Man invited the Devil in and that belongs on him and man's need to be their own God instead of being satisfied with what he originally had planned for us. It is sin to mock The Almighty. The Devil loves that! I have had Crohn's Disease all my life, 42 years, and never once ask the Lord why he chose me to carry this burden. I have ask him to help me use it to help others. I would have ended this misery long ago without the reassurance that because of Jesus, and the shedding of his blood, there is a perfect place waiting for me in the Heaven man turned up his nose at the first time in the Garden of Eden. No matter what hot coals in life I must walk everyday, will I ever blame my Lord, that curse belongs to the power of darkness.

Hi, Robin! I’m drinking my first Golden Milk! Of course I went over board on the amounts of Tumeric & Pepper. I figured I’d gain all the benefits in one cup! I wound up using one teaspoon of honey, the pepper still burned so I used some real maple syrup, a lot of cinnamon, fresh ginger & Tumeric. I want to do this everyday. I put the sweetener when it was drinking temp. Thanks so much!

@@twin86040317 i think so you should use butter because research shows it helps in bioavalibility of turmeric components that help in reducing inflammation and add it in the beginning so it gets enough time to dissolve fat soluble components of turmeric ... a lot of turmeric substances are metabolized by intestine wall which is interfered by pepper to enhance in blood availability which may be bad idea if your bad throat was because of intestine issues ... so i think one should try without butter and pepper to see if it works better for throat ... for swelling in body use with butter and pepper

Just found your website and recipes and plan on looking at many of them and of course trying them out. Thanks for the great work. Suggestion : replace the butter with 3 tablespoons of rough or finely ground flax seed. That will give you lots of omega 3 fatty acids as well. Butter, even from grass fed cows still ends up being a barbaric food and is totally avoidable. Also replace the honey with "whole plant based food" dates ground to a fine powder, called "Date Sugar". Do not add too much Date Sugar as it tends to thicken the liquid. Furthermore the date sugar gives you lots of antioxidants. A win-win.
