This tea is loaded with antioxidants, and vitamins with lemon, cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric. Don't forget to add pepper and some kind of fat to enhance the absorption of the turmeric. That way you will get the full anti-inflammatory benefits of the turmeric and ginger.
    Turmeric Tea Recipe
    Ingredients:
    5 cups water
2 inches of turmeric root, thinly sliced, or grated with skin on
1 to 2 inches of ginger root, thinly sliced or grated
    ½ tsp. Cinnamon
1 organic lemon, peeled and then juiced, try not to peel the white part.
    Few cracks of pepper
    Coconut oil
    Honey
    Directions:
Pour the 5 cups of water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until it just comes to a boil. Add the turmeric, ginger, pepper, cinnamon, and lemon peel and simmer for 10 minutes. Do not boil.
Pour the tea through a fine strainer into a large bowl or large measuring cup. Add the juice from 1 lemon and stir. At this point you can pour a cup of tea and add 1 tsp. Coconut oil or butter (some kind of fat) and 1 tsp. of honey, stir and enjoy.
The rest of the tea can be stored in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Each time you heat up some tea, just add some coconut oil and honey for your serving.

I recently gained a lot of weight and one of the side effects I’ve noticed is inflammation and pain around my ankles. I decided to turn things around and get healthy and started taking tumeric ginger lemon tea + healthy diet of course and within 2 days the inflammation had drastically reduced.
I’m able to exercise and move around a lot better. I’m so happy, I intend on making it part of my morning routine indefinitely.

Indians have been doing this for thousands of years. Even to this day we boil a cup of water add turmeric and pepper to it and boil until the water decreases to quarter of the cup then allow it to cool a bit drink this when it is warm .Drink this thrice a day and every time prepare it fresh. Refrigeration is not advisable. Turmeric boosts the immune system and also brings down the inflammation . Pepper clears the lungs along with turmeric. 2. Fresh ginger juice one tea spoon along with honey taken three times a day brings out the phlegm and eases the cough. Fresh cinnamon powder 1/4 tea spoon along with honey also boosts immune system. Follow any of these methods regularly for a week or two as per your requirements. Consuming two raw petals of garlic every morning boosts the immune system. Spices will keep ones lungs clear. People who make fun of India should atleast now become aware of Ayurvedic and herbal medicines which have been used by Indians for thousands of years and the Indian food has rich medicinal values which is good for the human body. Indians have much better immunity than many other races because they mostly consume natural foods with medicinal values and add a lot of green edible leafy veggies in their diet and many of which are found only in India, Nepal , Sri Lanka etc. Thousands have died in China and European countries due to Covid 19. Instead of mocking at India take a leaf out of India's book. Funny to see westerners demonstrating about Indian herbal, Indian home made medicines, as if it's their own formulation.

I also make a drink with turmeric, ginger, lemon. Later I discovered that it was similar to Juma a popular traditional drink in Indonesia. It's a little different as I add green tea extract and of course some pepper and some Stevia for sweetness. I did not know about the fat, I put vitamin D capsules which contain vegetable oil, and they totally emulsify. To me, it tastes good and is packed with anti-oxidant phytochemicals.

@@Meee_eee3 i grow turmeric and ginger. You can totally just buy some fresh, plump looking roots from the store (not the dried up looking ones. If they are kinda yellow and have not dried up at the ends they should be fresh enough) and put in in a semi shaded area if you live in a really hot climate. If you wait until you see it growing some roots/stems by putting it in a sunny window, even higher success rate. If you really wanted to know lol sorry for the wall of text.

I just discovered your channel. I appreciate your sharing this really simple recipe.
I’ve been experimenting with a lot of different concoctions designed to boost my immune system. So, I will most definitely try this.
I made up 2 different batches of “Fire Cider” the other day, but I will have to wait 1-2 months for it to “cure.”
So, since I have some turmeric, garlic, lemons, and ginger on hand ; it’s just a matter of making this for an instant immune booster.
I appreciate your presentation. You are very simple, homey, and clear. It’s like going back in time with my grandma who was part Indian and had a whole lot of remedies that she gave us.

Thanks very much for sharing this recipe with us. We have been using it now for over 2 months. My wife and I were both prescribed anti-reflux tablets for many years which recently caused my wife to have a vitamin B.12 deficiency. She also used to get very car sick on many of the uneven and twisty roads here in Ireland. Since drinking one cup of your Turmeric Tea every day she hasn't needed one tablet. It's amazing that she can now eat salad and many other foods that she hasn't been able to eat for years and she hasn't got sick once since drinking your turmeric tea. I am 75 and the stomach tablets were the only medication I was on but now I have got rid of my severe indigestion and we no longer take any medication. What a shame our doctor couldn't have advised us of this excellent natural remedy.

For the past four mornings I’ve had a cup of lemon, ginger and honey and I swear I feel so much better, more energetic and drinking it first thing in the morning boosts the immune system. I’ll definitely try the turmeric and cinnamon.....
I just squeeze half a lemon, grate the ginger straight into the cup and add honey and hot water. Delicious and I don’t mind the bits of ginger, lol
EDIT: I meant forty (40) not four (4) mornings :)
For the last week I’ve been adding a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into my cup of lemon ginger and honey, but I’ve not tried the turmeric or cinnamon yet. Just an FYI ♥️

Recently in past 2 yrs, I have also suggested using Frankincence oil and Castor oil for additional arthritis benefits and has worked wonders for so many. As well as drinking ACV and soaking feet in 1 cu apple cider vinegar in warm water for 30 min. once a week. or even rubbing ACV on those painful areas.

Rains of Healing the fat:oil connection is why I prefer golden milk ( a good preparation with piper negra, ginger and cinnamon) with coconut milk or dairy if that is all I have. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I began the high doses of curcimin for pain management post operative surgery for breast cancer, and I found it mitigating and helping with so many other things caused by inflammation and stress. Fortunately, I had begun cooking with turmeric and eating a lot of curry many years ago: more than 25 years ago. I insist my recovery from breast cancer, my rehabilitation from multiple surgeries and the trauma of all that including the minimum dose of nuclear radiation and the side effects of that have all been mitigated by turmeric/ curcimin and eating a “diet for a small planet” consistently over the years. In combination I am evidence that these things have kept me above ground and able to enjoy a much better quality of life given all these health challenges . Things could have gone much worse with me. I am grateful for what God and nature provides even when things go terribly wrong!

Sandy Bee. I also take Astragalus, Vit D3 & a daily crushed garlic clove. It's what I used as a CNA for 20 years, cleaning the elderly. Eldebarry (SAMBUCAL) & Olive Leaf extract is also great, and eliminate a lot of sugar as well. You have to strengthen your immune system.

Curcumin in turmeric and ginger is fat soluble. So to get the antiinflammatories action, you must eat it with a little of
oil or a snack with healthful fat. Pepperdine from pepper also helps absorption but it can be hard on the stomach.

you shouldn't cut the lemon until ready to use because air deteriorates the vitamin c, and of course so does heat ... not sure of exact details of this notion but just sharing what I read ... also use organic turmeric and ginger or at least peel it. Both are very easy to grow in warm climate btw. So many food "experts" say to avoid all fats, so hard to know what to do, even for me after 50 years of study!!! Very appealing ... So pretty too. Beautiful demo here thanx.
