1) Doesn’t run from a title
I had a man telling me he loved me and I felt the same. I asked him if he considers me his girlfriend and he said no and I said goodbye. He wouldn’t commit but wanted all of the perks of a relationship with me. Nope.
Not the right man for me.
2) Consistent communication
With the same man I asked a simple, can you say good morning and goodnight to me every night. And he always had excuses and it made me realize I am not a priority.
After ending it with that guy, the next guy (who I am with now) is extremely good at communicating. Always makes time for me!

Honestly, what's wrong with these sons of Solomon. They want to have the cake and eat it. I sent him the last text msg due to no consistency or commitment, but pretending as if we're in a committed relationship. I just blocked 🚫 him this time after some time of me giving him a chance and me expressing how I felt about the situation.
I was dating a nice man for a month and a half.We went on almost 10 great dates! I asked him what he is looking for he said family,open to kids.He was very nice and consistent.Then when I wasn't ready to go and spend the night over he got mad over the phone and cancelled the reservation at the restaurant that night and told me that he was so nice to me and how I didn't do anything for him and called me selfish and narcissist.And I'm am talking here about a 46 years old w a good career and manners.Just crazy.

Communication is so tricky because so many men weren't taught how differently we (men/women) communicate. I think communication is essential, but men communicate differently than we do. Consistentcy is one thing, but depth is something totally different that many men aren't really interested in these days. I'm also mindful of a man's personal space. Sometimes, men just don't want to talk or text a woman because we talk a lot, sometimes overstimulating him. I match energy, respectfully, but I also make sure I continue to express interests if it's mutual.
Ok we’ll just leave these type of men alone then if he feels we’re over stimulating. I think most women don’t have the time and patience to parent another adult since we’re too busy being a parent to our own biological children.

Agreed social media can be toxic in how they distort reality. However in my experience with the men I’ve spoken with wasn’t that far off from these relationship videos. My point is there’s some truth to these self-help/relationship videos but Stephan knows how to keeps it real.

Thank you Stephan! I met a gentleman exactly a month ago and we are both grateful that we met each other. He said he knew when he first saw me he wanted me in his life (wife). He works a lot and I found myself beginning to get irritated because he doesn't have the time I want to spend with him. I took your advice last night and reached out to him while he was on the road and voiced my concerns about things. Unbeknownst to me he's making moves in his career in order to have more time with me. He has been consistently calling or texting me today. I also asked him does he consider us friends or a couple. This has been very helpful to me and direction changing. The guy refers to me as sister, makes little attempts to see me, yet talks frequently on the phone. I think I was seeing something I wanted to unfold. It's only been a few months. But something feels off. I have truly prayed and feel he may be a friend for the long haul even though friends tell me he cares and more time will prove we belong together. I literally just had to end a new relationship because he was not communicating. Showed no interest in me or trying to progress. When I would bring my issues and feeling to him on it he would just say he's going to bed and get off the phone. Lol. Oh well. His loss. I'm not hanging around until you feel like it. We made it 20 days.

Twice alone looking at the beach with a brewsky in hand; not long ago at a Friday Fest art show, several in active singles and civics clubs, serving on city boards, widowers. Go to where the men are (car and gun shows). These men have means and are gentlemen. I'm a tall lady too but that hasn't worked against me.

To be fair, I have a met a handful of good man who want to be committed. Unfortunately, there was a lot of issues when it came to sexual attraction to them. A lot of men who are ready to settle down to I have encountered, are not attractive to me and are entirely too old for me I.e 15 years older minimum.

My neighbor of 7 years, whom I only spoke to 10 min in all that time, prayed that he wanted to experience love before he died. This is true. I'm a baby mama with one kid I met this handsome man in our home street he stopped me to have my phone no. As it was our first time to see each other. But the very first day he proposed but I refused time when on everyday he was reminding me about us being together. After wards I said yes eeh this man is too loving it's like a divine connection. He loves my kid like its his own fruit n he says its our first born son... Planning of our wedding now soon or later.

I am aware of it and have reported it to the appropriate social media companies. They have done nothing about it. I have been single since 2016. Truthfully speaking, I dated men none of whom I would have been in a committed relationship with. Therefore, I remain single. Also, I know of none, men who were interested in being in a committed relationship. I don't do social media, so I don't set up thirst traps. I am not desperate. I find great contentment in being single until God has that special person he desires that I will be with. Until then, I'm good.

I knew someone who got into trouble many times and repeatedly went to prison. He ran for 30 years from a woman he claims is his Mrs. Special, a sweet well rounded confident woman, who he says he loves and can't live without. I can't imagine the damage he may do if he was with her. He's 56 years old and got into trouble again. That's a lifestyle that's def on him. I really fell for a guy at work he is single I got to a point where I told him I really liked him and he said thankyou and laughed. he put something on Facebook pretty much saying women only want to get married so they can have the man's income in divorce. 14:00 I wish more men understood that. It seems to me that a lot of men run away tbthe first sogn of trouble or hirt without even trying to discuss things. I'm not talking about if a woman made a serious mistake, but one that can easily be resolved by a bit of communication. An honest mistake that might have been there for reason xy (like what you mentioned, or confusion about sth that hasn't been discussed directly enough, etc.)

Yes, Stephan is correct there are so many available men out there. I recently met a guy online but we’re taking it slow. He’s not that expressive but really lights up when I send pics. We don’t talk too much during the day since he’s extra busy. But he enjoys texting me late at night when I’m already in bed. I think I found the one 😃

Welp, my ex failed the test already on point #1 but I think you should add a timeframe context to that. For me, I didn’t know how much time was appropriate to wait for a commitment particularly because he kept telling me he needed time to get to know me. He was vague & avoided being clear when the conversation was raised 5mos in. His unclear response ended up leading to the rapid downfall of our relationship. 2. Communication was consistent & to be honest so consistent I had to adjust my life to be available that long & often. 3. He took an interest in me but in the beginning I had to point out that he didn’t ask questions about me.
Overall I hate that I lost 6 mos of my life, my emotional energy, plus the 3-4 mos to recover. Basically my entire year. It was time I needed to invest in me & my future.

I'm serious but he doesn't want to committed, he said I will finish some things , but I'm exhausted really I want to know what to do . whether to stay patient or to move on .
