To the discussion of cornerbalancing - Its super fun to see this, and get educated about this. But as you said, not worth doing on the RS, and probably not most cars after just doing wheels/suspension. On the other hand, say some one does a full track build, does heavy weight removal, full roll cage and major suspension overhaul, that's when it's really needed. And to get those last tenths on circuit. As always, great video
If you disconnect the battery and leave it disconnected while the seats are out, the airbag light will not come on. You just have to remember to reconnect the airbag connectors before reconnecting the battery.
Love how there is a " GOOD'OL BOY " doing a awesome job on this car. Never judge a book by the cover in every since of the phrase. Thanks for sharing. :)
Agreed. Did this after my son and I performed a rather exhaustive/expensive suspension upgrade, overhaul, rebuild on his BMW. The buzz is great. The Alignment guy was as ocd about his work as we are about ours. Has proven to be worth every penny.
Nice mate, my mx5 needs an alignment as soon as possible after changing the wishbone and ball joint! I’m going to do it myself over the next few days and then take it into a garage to get it done properly with a laser if it doesn’t feel right still. But I know the strong method works very well👌🏻
I'm so glad you put your weight in the seat - wouldn't want to do it otherwise. Those numbers look great - car's that weigh 1/2 as much have similar differences in corner numbers. It makes it easier to understand, for me, your obsessions when you take care of the small details that are important to me. Paint correction, not for me. Corner balances on a GT3RS, absolutely required. I can watch your channel easier now, thanks. Nope, not gonna say it, either.
Should have a battery charger on when adjusting your rear toe it’s one of the first things it says on the info screen, also don’t need to jack it up when adjusting your front camber, looking forward to the exhaust video tho!!
Shop worker with greased hands touching that alcantara steering wheel with no gloves or steering wheel cover. Ouch. The first time I took my BMW 330 into my local BMW dealership for new tires, when I got my brand new car back the left door handle was coated in hydraulic fluid; the moon roof felt cover had black grease marks on it and both front o-shit handles were covered in grease marks. My interior is light grey and shows all marks like this. The rear leather seats showed grease marks on them as well. The maintenance manager said they were like that when I came in and handed me a bottle of interior cleaner and said, "it's on me". The left door handle was never the same and is tacky, picking up dirt and turning brown and black until I use that cleaner to clean it off. It is shiny and smooth and the other side is like it was when new so I have had to deal with that since new. I paid cash for the car in 2001 in Atlanta. While I was at my local dealer in Florida, a brand new white M3 pulled in and the driver had covered his door handles, the steering wheel, his shifter, his e-brake and his seats with Seran wrap. He also had a printed sign taped to the dash which read, "do not wash this car, period." I thought he was crazy and embarrassingly anal to the point of looking like an ass hole. Boy was I wrong. I dread the day when I can finally afford my used white GT-3 and I find that Porsche dealers in America are the same as BMW dealers... no white glove treatment and any protection you have on your car is provided by yourself. I certainly hope this isn't true of my local Porsche dealer. I've waited almost 50 years for my GT Porsche. I drove through Nalley Porsche every weekend through college and now my local dealer is Hennessy. I've been in Hennessy before and they seem very competent there and I think I'll use them when the time comes. I certainly hope they don't prove me right. I sense a reality check coming. But of course, that's unfair before I actually give them my money, isn't it. :D
I wrote that diatribe as soon as I saw it... when I watched the rest of the video, it quickly became apparent that those are good guys! Sorry and thanks for the reply! Do you have the Griots window cleaner on your store. I didn't see it so I ordered from them direct. Also, I'll be ordering your pressure washing system to practice detailing on my 01 BMW 330 so I get it down before my first Porsche purchase... after my Raptor buy next year. Looking forward to it. By the way. I've been using Elly hose reels and accessories in my home in FL also and they are top quality!

Very well said.
i LOVE these tech videos.. Always learning and love watching the proper way to set up a car!

Correct.
Mans got jokes... 5:12 “Want me to call Hurley Haywood to see what he should set it up at” haha not sure many people got this reference. #Brumos

It’s so satisfying driving away from a full alignment.
Agreed. Did this after my son and I performed a rather exhaustive/expensive suspension upgrade, overhaul, rebuild on his BMW. The buzz is great. The Alignment guy was as ocd about his work as we are about ours. Has proven to be worth every penny.
What a great looking car. Keep the videos coming, really enjoy. Want to see one re the GMG roll bar/harness.
I bet you cringed when the measuring tape hit your paint.
bet he left a very negative yelp review...
He has the car done fully in PPF - You have to just learn to filter those things out and let them do their job
Doggepp ik man, was just a joke 😉

There’s not a single mark on this beast is there, amazing 👌🏻
Matt you should have left the front at 2.1 camber
Sending you good vibes 🙏🤗
Yo looks good!

Perfection, but pretty sure that steering wheel was a little off Matt :p hehe
God the white on that car is just to die for.
was wondering why I haven't seen any videos over the last month... youtube unsubbed me :\ good to be back
You certainly know your way around Porsches! What's the break-in for the GT3 RS?
I don't do break in. I just drive it like normal. Porsche calls for an insane amount of mileage.
Shouldn't you be sat in the car (or weight equivalent) whilst the measurements are being done? What I did for mine.
That's what we did on the second reading.
You don’t call it obsessed garage for nothing 🤦🏾♂️😂. I must say I did learn something lol
Man I forgot how much bigger a Porsche is versus the BRC Frs
Is that RUclips not allowing for better than 360p?
Michael Turco its because you're early it take a while for the HD to upload
1080P60
Nice clean hands on that steering wheel 🤦🏻♂️
I hope he washed his black hands before he touched your steering wheel and got back in your car.
This car will never see the track. Why so dialled in?
Because he feels like it. Why does it bother you?
And neither will you. What does a track have to do with an alignment?
Track is super addictive and not for everyone.
proper corner balancing happens before, not after the alignment. just sayin’...
Umm...that's what we did.
your steering wheel is off centered by a lil bit. off enough to bother you i take it lol

I don't show it on camera, but Bill always washes his hands before touching the interior.

Just give it a minute to load. 1080P for me!
ahh figured glad it's up in HD. I'm surprised how little camber there is and impressed how much caster is available.
