What a battle. After such a fight, most bones are a little bit dislocated and the organs suffer from forced total reset. Two really big boxers and fighters, both among top 10 of all time.
This is a fight between A natural light heavy weight vs A Super Duper Heavy Weight. Undeniably, Holyfield is truly a real deal. As a four time heavy weight champ n the warrior who fought anybody in his era, He is undeniably one of the greatests of all time. Real deal indeed.

@@douglaspaterson5269 put down literally everyone of his generation. Points count in boxing in case you dont know. Never outweighed his opponent as a HW. Guy was a phenom that jumped ranks. Rare in the CW to HW divisions. Guy was a warrior no matter what you think of him. Top 10 all time. Love Tyson but he couldnt hold Evander's jock. His trilogy with Bowe is probably the best one I have seen in the HW division. Puts the Fury/Wilder ones to shame. His first fight with Bowe was 2 guys beating each other like I had never seen HW's do since Ali/Frazier.

I was still a child, but my parents owned a nightclub during the height of heavyweight boxing back in the 80s and 90s so we got to see almost all of fights. We are all huge boxing fans because of it. It was a great time in sports.
Fun fact: Deontay Wilder used to work at Anheuser Busch and deliver to them before he started boxing.

Lennox won easily their first fight and it was made a laughable draw? Second fight it looked like a draw but Lennox got it. I think they gave it to him because he had been robbed the first time.

This is a fight that's only close on the highlights. Lennox significantly out threw & out landed Holyfield including power punches. & he dominated the 2+ minutes of every round that took place at range with the jab which the highlights don't show.
Holyfield definitely won this fight in my humble opinion. Lennox wanted no part of Holyfield. Holyfield was such a skilled boxer. One of the greatest to ever do it. Fought all comers.

i remember watching this fight, it was great. i have always been a Holyfield fan, wanted to see him beat Lewis (didn't really care for him, though a great fighter). There seriously were a couple shots Holyfield "just" missed on that could have turned the tide in the fight...but that is how it goes.
