It’s quite observable the consequences of the shit welfare system we have! We have the worst welfare system in Europe, that’s a fact! This government have gotten away with murder quite literally with their welfare policies!
They have gotten away with murder and it enrages me so much that people who deserve it are getting shafted day in day out and those who don't get everything on a plate it's about time this stopped and the system was changed. universal income isn't desired but at the moment it's the one way we can try guarantee survival of the people most in need ❤️🩹❤️🩹

There's no doubt that the UK government should be prosecuted for pilfering taxpayers money that should have been spent on benefits, leaving victims to go begging to private charities. It's unbelievable, like something from a Dickens novel.
But personally I think the UN should really spend their time digging into the dark and murky world of Atos and Capita, and their role in the deaths of so many disabled people, and the DWP blatantly murdering people like David Clapson with their "benefits sanctions" reign of terror.
It's beyond Dickensian, it's like something out of the Middle Ages.

The way I and so many British people have been treated by the dwp is appalling.
It is, and they still believe they can get away with it and not be challenged.
I’m fed up with UC .
I’m a full time carer , for six years I have paid approx £8,000 in deductions for arrears and I’m still paying , this is ongoing until a DRO goes through .
After my own investigation it seems they did not have my non dependent disabled daughter as a resident for ten years .
I have no choice but to submit a debt release order to clear of the rest .
I have not committed fraud that’s official , yet the amount of arrears is equivalent.
I also received an eviction notice for rent arrears despite housing costs going direct to my housing association.
I’m in therapy for the financial & psychological stress this has caused .
I have to run the home & caring duties with less than £100 a week because of this .

I'm sorry to read this and I just wanted to reach out and announce that today the DRO fee has now just been scrapped as apart of the chancellors budget, I didn't know if you'd already paid or processed it but wanted to let you know in case.

Good news regarding the fee , that would make a massive difference.
The department attached to housing association said they will waive the fee , now they will have to :)
We cannot go ahead until council tax finalise total , by rights they owe me , somehow I cannot see this happening , as long as it stops though 👍👍

Me too. I’ve had to deal with bedroom tax, sanctions, jobcentre staff bullies and all of it. It’s got to stop.
@@sg-zd8ebI have always officially disagreed with their decisions to the point of tribuneral and only then do they overturn their decision in my favour! When you show you're willing to go to tribuneral, you either win at tribuneral or you may get an unexpected phone call just before your case is brought before tribuneral saying "we have decided in your favour so are you happy for you case to not go any further?" It was receintly put before a committee (maybe last year) 'how' ppl are being treat by dwp (reg dissability) and how the 'win' rate at tribuneral was 69% of cases overtuned. As long as you never back down ( as stressful as it is ) you will win. Hope this helps with your case😊

Yes, it is called Foreign Social Security (foreign aid) and just continues when they come here.
The only thing you'll see is the DWP and/or the UK government doing their best to wriggle out of it without being hit with anything they can't get out of. The DWP is absolutely ruthless and the UK government is sadistic by nature.

I don’t know if anyone else on PIP benefit feels the same as I do and would be interested to hear others views. It’s always a difficult process when claiming or challenging PIP decisions. I have an extremely traumatic past and am affected both mentally and physically as a result… the mental aspects left me withdrawn, indoors, in bed for many many years, depressed with CPTSD, eating disorders etc… this ofcourse eventually affected my physical health… diabetes, arthritis, pelvic inflammatory disease and others… EVERY time I have to go through the system I have to prove my disabilities and EVERY time this has a negative affect on my mental health again, which continues to affect my physical health. I feel I am discriminated against by having to repeatedly go through the mine field. I don’t understand why I have to keep on proving my disabilities. It’s not like they are going away. When I win my case at the tribunal, which I do most of the time, there are periods of improvement as I feel vindicated but fear the next cycle. I try to forget that I will have to go through it again and like I said, improvements occur, but when I have to return to proving my disabilities, they all come back and again, I withdraw to bed etc etc etc. It’s an awful cycle and I’m so sick and tired of it. It feels inhumane. I often have suicidal ideation, especially around those times. It needs to stop. If they just left me alone, I probably would eventually improve and be able to come off of benefits. It’s like they want me sick. Anyone else feel the same?

This is very true for a lot of people and me personally understand this and your frustration of it, just because disabilities aren't visible and you may look okay they automatically assume your faking it as well despite having medical evidence etc. and as you said you have to go through the whole process of proving your disability over and over and the majority of those don't just disappear over night despite what the government may think or say.
People need to wake up and realise they are being turned on one another and it's ridiculous. You wouldn't sit there shouting at someone in a wheelchair in public so why do people feel the need to do it behind a computer screen?

same here, It really sucks constantly worrying about that brown envolope coming through the door :( I'm Paraplegic paralised from the chest down, It ain't never getting better just more difficult, Takes 2 hours just to poop lol,.. just wanna be left alone as it really effects mental health and then get poorly with bladder infections etc.
since 2018 3 courts up to now with DWP (pip & ESA) about 4-5 assessment, a lot of doc from hospital GP etc and all 3 courts I won, all pay by tax payers money coz DWP dont care for disabled ppl or spending tax payers money... DWP made me more sick then i was
EVERYTHING YOU SAID! ❤You've described my life pretty much. They stopped my pip in '22 and I appealed. I won and the tribunal actually put me on the highest award which saved my life. The stress of it all for 12 months made all of my symptoms worse. I felt I could finally breathe, my award was up until Aug 2025. But they weren't going to stop and started my review in 2023. I was flabbergasted and my mental health took a dive. How can they do that? Then on Christmas day I got a message first thing saying they still haven't come to a decision, so have to wait longer. I couldn't believe they could be that insensitive. Anyway I got another letter 2 days ago saying that they've still not finished so was delaying it till April next year. So that's a full 12 month of stress. How can they do that to people, especially when your ill. They're evil.
P.S. The assesors lied on mine too so I kicked up a merry hell, and they put it right. It's disgusting what hell we have to go through.
it's getting worst and the Courts are fully aware of it now, they won't get away with this it's getting silly now stopping the most vulnerable peoples benefits and end up dying and in poverty

Being very blunt, you are complaining about a symptom.
The root cause, that DWP pension debt. Socialism at its worst. It's spent the pension contributions, leaving a debt. How do you pay that debt? Do you even know how big it is?
But as it stands you are in the same class as King Canute, expecting the tide to stop.

The problem is, no one will be held liable, no one goes to jail for the suffering caused by the so called Government policies. We as men and women are held liable for are actions, if we cause harm we are held accountable. Not in Government.

There are many ex dwp staff who will confirm the facts. Many ex staff have left for that very reason.
Many ex DWP staff assessors etc have commented on many videos on here trying to defend themselves and use cuts as an excuse, there's no excuse for forcing disabled people into suffering and dying at all. I honestly don't know how they can justify it matey and expect people to stick up for them, truly I don't 😂

My friend who is disabled said if the DWP stops his benefits, he will take it to the European courts because he has 3 cards one his brother uses abroad and they sent him information saying he has committed fraud which he has not by going abroad without telling them
They dont realise how much fraud they have commited and continue to do so , the difference is now the general public have realised and with the power of the internet and recording devices have been caught out multiple times! once they realise you have proof they become your best mate and offer you pay outs. disgusting vile system.

I wonder if UK pensioners are included. It seems to me we are always left out. My state pension is less that £700 a month. Energy costs and water eat well over £200 of that and I'm sitting here in a coat with a jumper under it.
can i suggest that you claim pension credits as that amount is well below the threshold to live on. It is easy to do online.
The trouble with the D W P is that you have to be literally dying before you get anything out of them. l tried years ago, and my spine is crumbling. Go out for a short time but can't for long cannot stand for long period's l get tired breathing is bad but l get around applied went for a meeting wouldnt put me on any other benefits so had to carryon looking for work they have always been rhe same l worked my ass of till l had my son before my 32nd bithday still did part time work but its like hitting you're head of a brick wall with them.

Try again. They are required to use your GPs diagnosis and treatment notes as reality, despite routinely dismissing them. Most applications are turned down initially, over half having that decision overruled on appeal. Getting help with the process from the likes of Citizens Advice improves your chances massively. The private firms doing the assessments are paid a bonus for keeping numbers low and their staff are given targets. Keep at it, though it shouldn't be this way. My son is same age with spinal trouble. Physiotherapy exercises work more effectively than pain meds in the longer term. Stretching out releases nerve and muscle tension behind the pain. Doesn't vanish, it lessens and becomes manageable.
The UN and the EU have Human Rights Laws although the UK DOES NOT but we subscribe to the former two. Why?

This is why the Tories want to leave the European Court of Human Rights. Sunak claimed its a foreign court interfering with GB sovereignty. It isn't, we signed up to it decades ago and it protects ordinary people against government. 2017 Tories rejected the UN report. Glad to hear they can't ignore it.

I’m glad I found you today, it’s weird but I had been thinking a lot about I.D.Smith lately & remembering when he started sanctioning & penalising people on disability benefits. The bedroom tax & other extremely harsh measures drove many to suicide, it seemed deliberate & was & is extremely abusive . Thanks for the information.

This was only possible because New Labour (Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, ATOS) had already put in place laws and more importantly the IT systems that allowed that to be done. Not to take away from the sheer psychopathy of IDS and brutality. It was established by various reports including UN rappoteurs that these policies killed people (estimated to be between 200,000.to 300,000 between 2013 and 2020). Rachel Reeves had to withdraw her comments on being "harder than IDS" but sadly the latest version of New Labour is repeating these policies.
Let’s hope some good comes from this.

Hi there lovelies! . . I am the one who got cut off at the beginning of my ESA medical because I told them I was going to record. I also got cut off when I rang the assessment centre to let them know this! . . I have just received another appointment at an assessment centre in 11 days time! Do you have any idea what the law is about whether or not they are allowed to make me attend another assessment seeing as they were the ones who cut off the first one? If you don't know the answer to this, do you know anyone I can seek advice from? Thanks for taking the time to read this ❤
They can't make you attend if you're too sick to attend. It's always better if you can get a home visit. Your GP could write you a letter/note asking for this.
Contact Disability Action for advice. You are allowed to have someone with you at the assessments and I strongly recommend you do so. Video or audio recording can both be used in court, if needed. Private phone calls need agreement from the other party to be useable.
They suspended your assessment due to recording. Good. When they repeat that you have clear evidence that you are cooperating and they are being obstructive. Of course, you need the recording for your own peace of mind that you answered their questions correctly as these appointments are very stressful and intimidating, putting your mental health at risk.
The nurse lied in my report on some pretty fundamental stuff so defo record it.

Also I have emailed them to ask why I am expected to attend another assessment when they terminated the first one. The email address that they provide for you to make a complaint, has suddenly stopped working properly and says there is an error!!!!!!! Even though it took a day for the error message to appear!! I just don't know what to do!

I’ve got a mate that has battle with them over 12 yrs they stop his payments 6 times each time he as won the last time which was 6 months ago he trook them to court and won but he’s never got any back pay

People don't understand that JSA income based and Universal credit is funded from general taxes. This means you have been contributing all your life, and even if they stop your benefit, you will still be contributing.
The DWP have kicked over a million people off the dole over the last 13 years.
The management set a bench mark for the staff to get 3 people a week off benefits.
And changed the appeal system to make it much harder to get an appeal let a lone win an appeal.
Just don't record and create a video from it without permission is all I ask , it's fine to share stuff but we had people recording videos with us talking about fish pie to make a video for their channel about fish pies it was weird as foook. Yeah. most people on UC after rent is deducted are only left with about 100 to 250 to live on. That is, unless, you get higher amounts. Even then it can be a struggle, add on the fact 40% of UC claimants work. How can you justify working so many hours, with the maximum UC you can get possible and still struggle??

And the 60% that don't find live a life of luxury running to food banks and being evicted from homes what a stress free life that must be but it's ok plenty of immigrants to move into the houses and get full rent paid for them while more British people live on the streets what a glorious and proud time to be a brit I own 2 houses and there will never be an immigrant in them period

UN court is non-binding so even if they rule against the DWP and tear them a new one, they are under no requirements to conform to any judgment.
I knew someone who had an assessment for benefits, and was told they would qualify, no problem. The department ‘lost’ the original paperwork, and so had to be re assessed......guess what, they went against the original verdict. They appealed.....it was turned down.

The DWP are a joke, when my cousin turned 16 they asked him to come in for a work focused interview despite being severely disabled. My uncle called them explained to them his son wasn't physically able to but they insisted he came in well my uncle wheeled my cousin into the Joke-shop(aka the Jobcentre)they soon changed their minds.
its like they want to see you in the flesh to determine if your disabled or not?! the fact that not all disabilities are visible means nothing to the JC or DWP.
@DynamicDuoUK I have noticed that a lot, as I've seen a few stories about other people with disabilities but DWP and the JC seem to be under the impression that everyone is lying. My cousin can't do anything for himself as that's how he was born, when my uncle told me that I thought the JC were taking the piss.

Know they saying they have a right to access your bank account ,to see what you are spending your benefits on ,been disabled I rely on these benefits ,surly this is illegal ,and against data protection .
Against human rights, the right to privacy, but the tories want to strip those from us unfortunately, all under the guise of getting back at a few "foreigners". Propaganda at its finest.

i struggle with language, both written and verbal, so may be typos and bad grammar :P
yup, not just the DWP, currently in a case what breeched the disabilities act , witch meant i could not access my filing account, despite 1 year (recorded) of asking them to change a phone number to my cares phone number so i can file my taxes
I had move house, and as part of that move there are no phones (mutism as a disability seems to be on none one radar, you all have phones right? or cant text?). phones distress me deep and do not have one, hearing someone else go off, or the sound on an advert kills me inside- (partial mute, and cus of the worry of such devises i don't have one for even text under mental health concerns and wellbeing)
My request, and documented where outright ignore (7 letter over a year, all recorded). And I got mounting late filing fines.
I knew the law was on my side (not all know the law) so i only played one fine and for evidence.
up-on till now, i had filed my taxes every year, and when they finally change the number after a year of asking? I had failed said taxes with in hours, when I saw I could, when I checked my emails at lunch time.... HOurs vs thier years!!! was not me being an ass here, it was them.. provable in court!
so i payed That one fine (a chequ so it would sho it was cashed and dated) was also send with a recorded delivery letter, yet again requesting they change my phone number so i can file my taxes.
The cheque was cashed and they did not give me access to my account, yet, send another , bigger fine. < sent me a threat of courts summons with no warning.
we logged on to the site they have and saw, nothing was due for a month! thye messy up june and july.
i payed it all up leavining me out of poket, as i'm house bound and could not deal with random court dates (unless it me filing the case :P)

Yet the UK government are giving 16,000 new homes to illegal immigrants???? Why what is the rationale behind this all single males I bet. I was diagnosed with M.E. Lost my job and yet couldn’t claim any benefit to support me. It’s diabolical I was refused an appointment because I had missed two appointments due to the fact I couldn’t get out of bed having seizures passing out migraines acute tiredness. I worked for 46 yrs full time and couldn’t get any help. I took DWP to court and lost. I detest this government and the DWP if I was an illegal immigrant or any other immigrant I would have got help. This country is a disgrace for the people who work hard.

I don’t know how long ago you applied but if you understand how the system works it’s not about how bad the diagnosis of any disability but how it impacts you on a daily basis so don’t wish to insult your intelligence as you probably are already aware.
Get every bit of evidence you possibly can from all healthcare providers who have assisted you, friends or family to write supporting letters to explain how your condition affects you and even them.
It is an absolutely awful condition to live with it can destroy your life from a once productive member of society to a mere shadow of your former self this I know.
Do you also know that professionals have said to me that lazy people rarely develop M.E. It’s usually the most ambitious goal driven people that do who tend to live life to the full!
