    What people don't see if they're not disabled, is you have to pay for everything. Things like having your toe nails cut which can cost up to £40. If you have pets. Dog walkers charge. Cleaners. Etc.
    I'm sure anyone reading this who can relate to this, understands the sheer frustration. I would do anything to be in full health and not be dependent on a government.
    When a pompous, rich and unrelatable tosser Prime minister tries to demean people on benefits, it makes my blood boil

    Hi thanks for putting this video up. It has helped calm my worries. I rely heavily on my PIP payment to help with daily living issues and find that the way it is currently paid suits my needs perfectly. It has allowed me to purchase the rise and recline chair I need and the Walker I use to get about. It allows me to purchase the personal items that my condition needs. If they changed it to vouchers it would be much less flexible. Truthfully without this money I would struggle to afford to live. Just recently it seems that disabled people and those suffering long term illnesses seem to be on the receiving end of a lot of flak and this is the last thing we need. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Yeah... none of those options involving the government deciding what you can spend money on is acceptable. How very Dickensian. Truly, we live in the worst timeline if people think that's an acceptable proposal. If only all government ministers were required to live solely on standard rate UC and PIP, no expenses budget, no jobs outside of being a minister, and it being made outright illegal for them to change themselves over to anything other than standard rate UC and PIP without a 60% majority in public referendum, I think we'd see immediate change.

    Thank you so very much for doing this video. I have been so very stressed and worried about being misunderstood by the DWP. My partner has set up youtube and my online repeat prescription accounts, because i am very dyslexic and did not do well in a class room environment, when i was trying to learn the commuter, on previous government courses. I have sleep apnea, Chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, clinical depression, some agoraphobia and other physical health problems. I would physically not last a day, if i was pushed into a job. I did work in the past and did all sorts of jobs to earn money. I cannot follow a bus timetable due to my dyslexia and have to be accompanied when taking a bus journey. I did fight a pip case back in 2019, where my mother attended with me and the adviser shouted at me and my mother was told to be quiet. Because i fought the case until the actual social security took the case on, in January, 2021, the case was done over the telephone. Due to being in part social distancing then. My worry is that i am going to have to go through the whole scenario again!

    The welfare system needs to be ONLY for the vulnerable people who need support and help, we need to be grateful we have PIP today but maybe not tomorrow the government is hell bent not trying to pay people how would vouchers work it WON'T people need PIP for extra support someone helps them with day to day tasks they cannot do themselves how would you pay a support worker a voucher, this is dangerous the tory party keep lying and scaring people to death this is not funny anymore they know nothing what some people go through day by day. for example just imagine being schizophrenic living day by day medicated up to the eye balls dopey and fatigued feel high on drugs cannot cook or clean, or do simple budgeting going out traveling cannot drive or work but being told no more PIP or universal credit sick payments it's a recipe for disaster

    The green paper regarding PIP changes does not end until the end of July so there wont be any changes until at least then and it will be at least another month before we see an actual bill try to be passed as law. What we are getting is the living shit scared out of us for kicks and thats the sickest part of this. An article is the Guardian last week said they more than likely wont introduce ANY welfare reforms until next year and thats ideal for me with the election looming and this lot will be out on their ear. The proposals they put forward are farcical for the most part as what would you use vouchers for in the first place. Mel Stride does not know that people with long term sickness/disabilities have whatever property they live in modified because of their condition so his so called claim they are paid hundreds when all they need is a grab rail is an insult. PIP is not fit for purpose. why is it always a battle to get the correct points? the assessors manipulate the truth determined to award very few points, then we are forced to appeal in a magistrate court just to win our acknowledgement for PIP allowance. Like the post office scandal, it's a disgrace that causes unnecessary stress.

    Well said & thank you for sharing .
    The government should overall & reform it's financial priorities , Richie Sunak said that the PIP system is unsustainable & yet Lord David Cameron just promised 3 billion in arms & support to Ukraine & will continue to do so for as long as it takes , it's shocking to say the least .
    If the benefit system reduces any further it's likely that there will be further widespread civil unrest in the UK on a scale never seen before subsequently costing the UK government far more then the initial benefit system , the government should think very carefully & prioritize those who are vulnerable with health conditions & others who are out of work or indeed in work poor with families that are struggling .
    There are already medical professionals such as GP's & practitioners in place to provide medical evidence for the claimant , so the fraud factor with the DWP I would imagine is minimal in comparison to the larger figure that are claiming PIP .
    The government are vey good at hiding behind words , if the benefit system in general is reduced or stopped it will open up a hornets nest with millions that will have nothing to lose & would spell a national disaster on an unimaginable scale .

    Vouchers were used in the United States back in the 1970s for what they called welfare claimants. It was an attempt to shame into not claiming as you seen at supermarket checkouts with vouchers and the stigma at the time of obviously being a claimant would affect your relationship with people around you. Supposedly so you would be less likely to claim etc.
    However it didn’t work as people just sold off the vouchers to dealers at half face value etc
    Whether or not these proposed ones have some kind of bar code I don’t know but I guess it will become a failure.
    The other side that it encourages crime …. Personally I know of at least two young gentlemen that after having a bad experience with work and the job centre’s sanctions system and the lack actual stable and reasonable paying jobs or training decided to go self employed and became very very successful, one of at the age of twenty four drives a Bentley and has a number of properties… let’s just say he became a pharmaceutical distributor and generator of exotic concoctions. The other gentleman is involved in the armament and weapons trade. Again apparently he doing even better.
    They both are very thankful and grateful of the DWPs help in developing their successful careers.

    • @DynamicDuoUK
      @DynamicDuoUK  21 день назад +6

      Like anything people's opinions can differ to others, I believe it's morally wrong as disabled people don't always have the money to pay for a service, I know the DWP aren't pleased about it but unfortunately can't discuss. It's her choice but we don't agree with it at all but that's just our opinion, other people may agree with her.

    • @RobbieMeadows-oz4cx
      @RobbieMeadows-oz4cx 21 день назад +9

      @DynamicDuoUK l am going to be controversial. It is people like her that the DWP are fed up.. I have anklosing spondylitis. My posture is stooped, and I have severe kyphosis. My neck has fused. I watched her video yesterday, and it reeked of please believe me, DWP.. She is turning up at tribunals , but she also claims she suffers from severe fatigue. I'm sorry, but I don't think she is being truthful. She is one of the reasons DWP is fed up. Can you imagine charging people 650 pounds. I don't like her .. She is giving genuine, sick people a bad name . I am your friend, now give me 650 pounds. Her videos make me cringe 😬

    • @elleskye3521
      @elleskye3521 21 день назад +5

      Wow, I didn’t realise she was charging £650. It does seem a lot, even if she claims that she’s only lost one case (if that’s the lady you’re talking about) I appreciate that a lot of time and effort goes into helping people complete those forms but don’t think it should cost more than, say, £250.
      I’ve watched a few of her uploads and find she tends to waffle too much for my liking, and her most recent video contradicts some of her previous ones. Maybe she’s worried about the DWP as they definitely won’t want potential claimants to know too much about how the system works.
      I’m not on PIP so don’t really know what it entails but I believe that the Benefits and Work forum have a step by step course people can do to learn about filling in the PIP form for about £35. It’s worth looking into for that price.

    • @DynamicDuoUK
      @DynamicDuoUK  21 день назад +5

      @@elleskye3521 there is also a lot of free online services to help and assist , I appreciate people wanting to charge more for filling it in on their behalf as it can be a long process and in depth but realistically it should be yourself in your words and if you need help filling it in due to a disability that's acceptable but nobody should purely rely on someone else only guides.
      Like you said all the information can be used that she provides and some people could use it fraudulently.
      We try and be a bit different as we've both been through it ourselves and know how hard and scary it can be.
      £650 should never be charged I think for anything like this its just greed.
      I've noticed she is deleting people's comments however she accepted the ones slagging us off, so therefore we give it back now, don't have time for people like that at all.
      I waffle myself sometimes sorry for that lol!

      The thing is if you get the enhanced rate of personal independence payments for the mobility section, you're entitled to lease a vehicle for the duration of your award so the people don't actually get that money in the first place. It goes to the charity but they are a profit organisation so they're making profits as well which unfortunately doesn't fit well in most people's eyes. So can you imagine this benefit being stopped? Not only would you destroy a company who leases vehicles on behalf of disabled people, but all the people's jobs will then go as well. It's truly Madness

They've seriously angered a lot of people and organisations in this country and now they are finding out the hard way they're not to be trusted. No organisation from the government is unfortunately and especially the media.

      @@DynamicDuoUK My pip is due for renewal. And, just like last time I'm expecting the same lies and playdown of my fully diagnosed conditions and general ignoring of any medical evidence. I'm fully expecting to have to go to court again under the charge of being disabled. Last time I was guilty as charged and they still removed all my support. System by design.
