They had 5 minutes planned for him to speak, he spoke for 7.5. He then said he would wrap up in 10 seconds, then went on to speak for another full minute. If you don’t interrupt people who can’t keep their speeches the length they agreed upon, the system falls apart and others don’t get the chance to speak. Obviously they had to interrupt him since they were on a schedule.

I can confirm Mr. Peterson's statement regarding surveillance cameras in China. As the co-owner of a Telecom Systems Integrator company here in Thailand, I have frequent dealings with Huawei, touting their latest technology. On a visit to their office, about 3 years ago now, they were demonstrating their new CCTC (surveillance) cameras to me and during the conversation the sales manager casually told me that by 2023 they will have one of these cameras installed per every 2 people, and there you have it from Mr. Peterson's mouth. The statement was made to impress I believe, but quite frankly it scared the hell out of me.

Even then, on the news they were boldly saying that they could store the biometrics of every person on the planet. I’m a Chinese citizen and my father suffers from low credit score due to personal debt. I can confirm Mr. Peterson's statement regarding surveillance cameras in China. As the co-owner of a Telecom Systems Integrator company here in Thailand, I have frequent dealings with Huawei, touting their latest technology. On a visit to their office, about 3 years ago now, they were demonstrating their new CCTC (surveillance) cameras to me and during the conversation the sales manager casually told me that by 2023 they will have one of these cameras installed per every 2 people, and there you have it from Mr. Peterson's mouth. The statement was made to impress I believe, but quite frankly it scared the hell out of me.
I said it before and i'll say it again, the CCP is the worlds largest unofficial corporation and for the average citizen living there, it's a prison of the mind. I lived in china around the mid 2000's during the early phase of these cameras being set up. I’m a Chinese citizen and my father suffers from low credit score due to personal debt. His transportation options were limited and his business partners were reluctant to phone him that they sometimes went through me. I’m not saying Chinese citizens are unable to live a fulfilled life like westerners do, but the control is definitely palpable and unparalleled.
In China, most Uyghurs are automatically born with negative credit scores, they aren't even allowed to travel to other provinces.

It's not as though he's talking nonsense; on the contrary - his words are (almost excruciatingly) well-chosen to deliver a very clear message, without leaving holes for it to be misconstrued.
This man is such an educated intelligent man that when asked if he could summarize is humorous, when the entire time he spoke was most likely summarized already where we the people have the opportunity to seriously adhere to.

We should not want the level of information about ourselves being available to a couple of incredibly influential companies led by the super wealthy and available to a government as that could easily turn and lead to a fascist state.
