Nick, Great video!!! Loved having Mike on this video!!! Love this channel SO much!!! Thank you SO much for starting your channel!!!! I get SO much info on here!!! Bless you!!!❤
We've been lucky to find a few other age-gap couples as friends over the years, which makes things easier when you have a lot in common. Now that we are travelling full time, we don't get to see our family or friends often, but when we do, it's so much fun. We just celebrated eleven years together and are looking forward to many more together :)
Im a young 65 and single and this gives me hope that someone out there might still want me. I spent 10 years in a horrible relationship with a narcissistic alcoholic that left me feeling unlovable and undesirable - and the scars are still with me to this day though with a lesser impact on my psyche thanks to years of therapy. Thanks again for these videos - THEY GIVE ME HOPE! Mark
@@LanceyKerstiwhy do y’all weirdos always use that argument "weLl YoU wEre 5yo wHen He WaS 20 🤓". Like what?? That’s so irrelevant. Every single person on this earth has been a child before…
Thank you so much for producing this video. My husband and I have a similar age separation, have been together for 6 years and married for 2, and it really works for us. Our varied strengths and weaknesses off-set each other: he keeps me young and I encourage him in his maturation. It wouldn’t work for everyone, but it does work for us. The biggest problem we experience is judgment from outside … but we let that go, because the opinions of those outside our relationship are often based on bigotry and ignorance. One of the best things we did for ourselves was find a couple’s therapist. Blessings to you both!
My male gay coworker is 67 years old and his husband is 32 years old. They are so cute together and understand each other so well. They met in church choir too here in the ATL.
People who like each other - who are comfortable with each other - (as Mike is actually saying as I type this) connect soul to soul. I am not talking the term "soul mate," simply people who love each other having fun and having things in common. Mick Jagger and Melanie Hamlick: Though there are 44 years between Hamrick and Jagger, she has said that she "doesn't think about" their age difference. Cher didn't let a 40-year age gap scare her away from Alexander “A.E.” Edwards the first time around. Rupert Murdoch has gotten married for the fifth time. The 93-year-old media mogul wed 67-year-old retired molecular biologist Elena Zhukova i was in the sauna yesterday and guys were talking in code, I assumed it was steroids. I said to them "I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, and I'm 70." One guy said "I thought you were 50." The other said "Wish I look like you when I'm your age." Attitude is essential, and I'm very happy.
Thank you guys this is so helpful to me right now. I am also concerned about age gaps, being older, but the points of view you discussed really make sense. You fall in love with the person not their age.
Sorry I missed you while you were in Florida. I’m 61, my late partner was 37, I can relate to what you shared. Now I’ve met a 32 yr. old and I’m excited to see where it goes.
I'm 64 in a 11 month relationship with a 29 year old.. Atfyirst the age really bothered me.but as i got to know him , That's gone. Just two guys now. Thanks for sharing your story.
The 60 year old man really does talk to the 31 year old more like a dad than an equal partner. You can see him trying to teach him things and offer wisdom. It’s interesting to observe. I’m attracted to (up to) 30+ year older men too but I’m married to a guy only 7 years older than me. If it works it works!
I am 23 years old , living in japan but i like 50+ older man , sometimes i say to the god why he made me like that. Then i watched this video and i feel okay if it’s not me at least someone is ❤❤ , i pray to the god for a healthy life for both of you🎉
I was 56 and my partner was 69 when he passed away at the start of covid. We were together 36 years and it was awesome and beautiful. We completmented and energized each other. We felt we were very lucky and happy to have each other. . And now im alone and lost . 5:24 wo him.
I'm ,67, he's 30. Aside from the occasional " oh, are you taking your grandpa out for dinner?," comments at restaurants it works. And I'm not a sugar daddy.
I have been in a 22 year age gap relationship. As the older man in the relationship, I can say that it is much more difficult on the older man than the younger man...can you guys please do a video about your opinion on my statement.
What i find unsettling about these older men wanting relationships with younger they don’t even want someone 10 years younger than them. I know a 61 year old that only wants 35 and younger. Someone age 50 they would not even give a chance. Come on guys we know what this is all about. The old ones are practicing ageism. And alot of them can’t get it up unless the other person is young.
Age difference is not an issue at all, so long as the younger person is prepared to deal with the health issues of the older one when the time comes (assuming they stay together till death separates them). And also have a plan of how to take care of his own health and life when the older person is no longer around
Me 74 husband is 56 we met 19 years ago and have been married for 7. The age difference has not been an issue for us. Thank you for sharing your channel

So Nick, I think what Mike is saying is the age gap is something that happened. But there’s nothing different about the dynamic of it because it’s a relationship all the same.
Another thing is the older ones wants someone thats going to make them feel young and look young. “ oh i got this young guy with me i must be hot.” Similar to having the trophy wife. They are chasing the fountain of youth in a partner. Soon as the guy gets a certain age they go for younger thats how you get the 61 year olds that don’t even want someone in their late 40’s thats too old! Meanwhile they aren’t looking any younger themselves, and ain’t attracted to someone that looks similar to them but expect younger guys to be attracted to them….?!?!
when people talk about age gaps they are talking about people dating 18-22 year old with older men not people above the age of 25+ age gaps don't matter that much because people are grown at that point
You avoided the two issues that probably are on the top of almost everyone's mind regarding age gaps. You didn't get into how your sex life is going, something that matters in any relationship. Also, your partner's money allows you to live in a nicer place than you would have otherwise. It's not a bad thing but it should be addressed.
Their sex life and financial lives are strictly their business. You can be curious, that’s fine. You are allowed to tell such details regarding your own personal life to anyone you choose. Just be respectful of Nick and the community he is building here. So many people need the positive support provided by this channel. It’s not a tabloid, just an authentic guy including us in part of his life.
If it was a woman in this case they would be called a housewife and no one would bat an eye. If someone has more money than someone else who cares. If they had no chemistry they couldn’t be together long! It would fall apart. My partner is 15 tears older than me and we’ve been married for 17 yrs! We’re family! Sex age and money doesn’t even get looked at. At the end of the day we take care of each other probably better than an average straight couple does even.
Sorry not sorry: age isn’t just a number. If you have more then a 10 year age gap w a partner, and that younger person is in their 20’s… it’s predatory imo. I’d bet, That younger person isn’t an “Old Soul” they’re a CPTSD Survivor.
I don’t think the age gap is the issue here at all. Mike seems overly defensive and sensitive - automatically interpreting Nick’s innocent comment about him being detail oriented as him being ‘Anal’ for example. That kind of fragile ego and defensiveness isn’t something easy to deal with (from experience). Or, when Nick makes the point that Mike likes to travel, although he has to instigate things, Mike immediately says Nick lacks responsibility as a response to put him down. I wonder if he can accept criticism? It’s a tough pill to swallow when someone cannot accept that they’re at fault. Though I wish you both well and hope you can navigate that.
You and I are a lot alike because when I was your age I wanted older men as well. Mainly because they had more body hair and that was my fetish. Yet here I am attracted to you (a younger guy) because you have more body hair than your older partner. Of course we haven't seen your partner shirtless yet, but after decades of studying men I can predict the amount of hair and distribution by instinct.
of course the young one is a gold digger: he said the other one has more cars, houses whatever; is all about money. Is not a relationship is a transaction.
This young guy is a tool. He’s too full of himself. It’s the trend now where these young guys are trying to create an occupation for themselves by sharing things that aren’t that interesting and dragging their older partners in to help their job. I’ve always been in an age gap relationship and if there’s not mutual respect, it becomes a manipulation game and it gets sour after a while if they don’t catch toxic behavior.
My husband is 83. I'm 65. Been together since 1982. Married in 2020. Things are great.
