KJV Ecclesiastes 9:5
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
This doesn't say for the living know that they shall die and automatically be transported to heaven. According to Martha, she believed that her four days dead brother Lazarus would be resurrected at the "last day" so she did not express to Jesus that her brother was then in heaven or he'll but would sleep in his sepulchre until.the resurrection of the just/righteous.
He should not be teaching the bible. Just my 5cents.

A plausible take on the scriptures and one easily consumed if you believe the soul is the body are the same thing.
When Jesus said," fear not them which kill the body but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which kill is able to destroy both both and soul"
Does it mean the BODY and SOUL the same?

"O Lord my God, I pray, let this child's soul come back to him".
When God heard the voice of Elijah the "SOUL" of the child came into the body and he revived.
Does these verses said the body and soul the same?
If truly believe the Bible is inspired by God and that it doesn't contradicts itself...
Then an honest christian you should realize that the speaker is talking primarily about what happens to the "BODY" specifically every verses he quoted has no indication of SOUL or the contexts them self refers to the mortal flesh.

It's a parable. The events of a parable are not meant to be taken literally, but they are to teach you a lesson.

What is the lesson from that parable? Are you saying that the Creator of the universe has to use those false information to teach a lesson? Not only that, but to name the poor man Lazarus and even mentioned Abraham would not be right. Jesus is sinless. No way He is going to make up stories based on falsehood.
I've heard so many lies and unsound doctrines from Parr, but worse, direct slander of SDAs, the Sabbath, and Ellen White in multiple videos. And he avoids confrontation or correction at all times by anyone, although he's had many invitations to do so. At this point, just hearing his voice is like fingers grating on a chalkboard. I don't see a big difference between his arrogant, profit-driven motives, and that of the pope. He defends ecumenical things, and attacks the Sabbath and commandment-keepers.

My beloved brethren technically Abraham and his father did go to hell which is the grave , which means we are all going to hell the grave , unless we are alive when Jesus Christ comes for his elect and we are saved . The body dies and goes to the grave and the spirit goes either to heaven/paradise or hell, as Yeshua said on the cross to one of the criminals...TODAY, you will be with me in paradise...Not 3000 years from now...Even Steven when he was being stoned to death said, Lord Yeshua, receive my spirit. He knew he was about to go to heaven, his spirit that is...😊
Jesus didn't go to Paradise that day. John 20:17 lets us know that He went after he resurrected.
The comma was in the wrong place. It should read "Verily I say unto thee To day, shalt thou be with me in paradise."
Meaning Jesus was declaring that day that the thief on the cross would be in the first resurrection.

Technically you and friends of yours can create your own church. Will you then think that your church is designed to control you? Perhaps there are leaders in some churches that have evil intentions. But you can explore different churches and find one where the people are to your liking. They exist.
We were created by God to glorify Him. He doesn't force us to do anything against our will. But His desire for us is to love one another and stop wickedness.

I want a biblical account of heaven from all these people that were resurrected in the Bible. Oh wait you won't find one single record because death is total unconsciousness. The longest dead was Lazarus 4days. Please Lazarus tell me how unhappy you are having to leave heaven. Oh wait Lazarus is happy to be alive and his sisters are happy as well. Correct! As living beings, we are living souls comprising spirit and flesh. When the body dies the spirit returns to God for safekeeping until the resurrection when we will be raised incorruptible.

However, why do most SDA's historically and currently believe that Enoch, Elisha, & Moses were taken to heaven at the end of their earthly lives when the Bible states differently, including the statement of Jesus declaring that no man has been to heaven?

Jude 9 - Moses resurrected and taken
Moses and Elijah represent the Law and the Prophets ,and they're archetypes. Moses of the dead in Jesus resurrected at the second coming of Christ, and Elijah of those (144,000) who are alive and remain at that day.

Hebrew 11, lists several prominent patriarchs including Moses, Enoch, etc,
" and they all .... received not the promise".
Enoch was translated = taken away.
" All the days of Enoch was 365 years"
" He was not, for God took him".
"He was not", can be thought of as a Hebrew idiom used several times in the Bible, always meaning death
The translation of the Enoch is no different than the Ethiopian Eunuch who was taken away/ translated, he obviously was not taken to heaven, just another location on earth.
