"enough" is another Tarja song that is clearly dedicated to Nightwish. in the live version of her you can feel her disappointment, her sadness, her anger... i think it's the answer to master passion creed. and in the opposite way when she sings "diva" you can feel that she is over that and also sings with a lot of passion.
Oh, a reverse revenge! Well, it's not ALL bad blood. From either side. A lot more material than I thought. I haven't checked out the lyrics of all of her rock albums' songs, but a few were familiar. I think, even if there's someone else credited for writing, the content might still well come from Tarja. Because many times these people she co-operated in several songs in the album, and they knew what she was after. "Until My Last Breath" in my opinion is a reply to "Cadence of Her Last Breath". In the Nightwish song Tuomas hopes her last breath will be for him, and in Tarja's song the reply is: no it won't.
Enough is the most obvious song dedicated to Tomas. What impressed me in this song is the rage vibe in Tarja’s voice which we are not used to, but she released all frustration she had. Also the line ‘ had enough symphonies of sorrow ‘ captured my attention as it gave me a hint she hadn’t enjoyed singing all those ‘she doesn’t love me’ songs.
Tarja and marco keep in touch and so do her and floor!! And from what it sounds like she talks with toumas on the phone sometimes not all the time rarely but they talk on the phone but she video chats with marco and floor almost all the time now deffinetly with floor

Also 16:17....I'mma be controversial and say that the lyric is actually "beast(s?) of prey a breath away" and somehow it ended up being inaccurately transcribed as "be so brave and weep me away"? When I listen to the song I just don't hear it that way but maybe it's me? I have seen it both ways. Anyway, if I'm right, it may be a reference to Tuomas always referring to himself as the "beast" in early NW songs 🤔

Many don't know this fact about Tuomas and TARJA, but they actually were dating in HIGHSCHOOL, but it did NOT LAST that long. They actually, broke up in good standing, and remained good friends. But all this was before Nightwish even became a band. And Tuomas went to look for TARJA to sing in his band he was trying to get started. Tuomas was surprised years later, when he had not seen her for awhile.
Tuomas has said that he and Emppu didn't know Tarja really well when they asked her to sing the first demos. They knew about her, but that's it. :) Who is your source? :)
@@SilverCreek24 They were in a high school music class together. The video is on you tube. It was 1994. Both are in the video, Tarja singing, Tuomas is playing saxophone.
@@walkawaycat431 Yes, they played in some school music projects together because they had the same music teacher, but they didn't know each other well. And since they were born in different years they were in different grades, so they didn't share many classes together if any. :)
Well... After breaking up with Nightwish, Tarja does not stop developing her independent career, free, her own, unique... I adore Tarja, I still listen to her, Nightwish weakly or not at all (except the old one, with Tarja). This analysis is a bit childish. I doubt she had such a need to "answer" Tuomas. Why would she, when she could finally breathe? Personally, I think that the old Nightwish had two irreconcilable frontmen (Tuomas and Tarja), that together, including the other members of the band, they created magic forever until 2005. Now they live their own different lives.
I completely agree! I love the style she's developed with her music. And I already did a discussion of all of her albums in separate videos. As I said in the disclaimer, this video is just an analysis of her lyrics that I think could connect to Nightwish. I'm not trying to say that the lyrics I discussed in this video are for sure about it, but it's just one way of looking at it.
What has this to do with Tuomas and Nightwish.....Tarja is the past and we all know the story. At the moment Floor is almost 10 years a member of Nightwish and it worked out very well.
The purpose of this video was just to talk about the lyrics Tarja has written that could relate to Tuomas and the Nightwish breakup of 2005 because I had already talked about Tuomas' lyrics about Tarja in previous videos and wanted to do the other side as well. It doesn't have anything to do with present Nightwish.
Tarja is not the past. She has a successful solo career, collaborates with interesting musicians, enjoys her creation and I love and listen to her. I leave the current Nightwish to others. Tarja forever.

Realistically, if there was anything to be said to Toumas, it was said with "Until My Last Breath".

Tarja said in her book that the song 500 letters is about a stalker. I haven't read the book myself, but she talked about it in an interview. :)

How do you know this? I've read and heard a lot about NW and I had never come across this info before... Thats weird!
