Tuomas has said that Auri is freedom of musical expression without limits. This is one reason he does not follow any patterns or rules or formula. Johanna sings with her unique style/voice and Troy complements the issue with his multitalent skills and style. Yes...he is Ocean Soul and all NW fans know that deeply.
Lovely reaction! Yes that's Troy doing the 'anchor away' backing vocals. It's also him doing that instrumental in the middle (which sounds like his EBow guitar and low whistle playing together) and that beautiful guitar solo towards the end! This song absolutely gripped me and I now can't get enough of it! Really excited to hear the rest of the songs from their new album. :) I know that all three of them have songwriting credits for the album so it'll be interesting to find out who wrote what!
This album is almost a flip side to the first one it seems...the first Auri was quite dark in tone and colour whereas the two songs off this album we have heard so far are very bright and filled with light.
