I get what you are saying about Sony but at the same time you are literally placing a first of it's kind insane performing A9III with Global Shutter with a rehoused Blackmagic 6K Pocket Pro... No other camera company has put a consumer level camera in the position that the A9III is! I'm sorry but that's a straight S Tier move!
That makes since!
The problem is Sony has been so far ahead they can afford to sit back and wait until another company challenges them. If they don't then from a business perspective they have no incentive to replace a camera that's still selling well. For example the A7S3 is old but no other company has beat the video specs at that price. Great DR, Low light, no over heating, no crop... over 4 year since it's release.
Is Announcments the same thing as Announcements? :D.
You rated Canon S level and Sony C level. As a Canon shooter I can't hide my smile. A9 was a flop and the Burano going by people that actually bought them, Marchado... it's swing and a miss. And with the R52 and R1 coming... clear the bases. And the RF lenses coming, Ooooffff. Me and Jarrell are some happy fanboys. I don't play with other cameras. I found what works for me.

...this comment is lame as hell lol You out here "happy" about a camera being "a flop"? The A9 has done more to revolutionize future cameras than anything canon has ever tried to do for a mirrorless full frame camera. The Burano obviously isn't for a lot of people. But hey we out here deep throating a camera company. Good job. Like let's be clear this year is far from over.
But let's also be clear you found what works for you and thats great. Just keep it at that and be an adult about it cause that is what honestly matters ✌

On the c400 stream I said this before that it beats the burano. But y’all never mention the burano was Sony’s other camera that came out in 2024. And that was good and bad at the same time. Sony probably doesn’t have anything more this year IMO.
Also do any of the sub $7000 beat a basic Komodo OG kit from the 2nd hand market?
Some editors should not color. Hire a colorist who knows how to work that 8-bit footage. Haha personal bias.
