Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor Tchaikovsky
Seiji Ozawa, Conductor

Love his dynamic and enthusiastic approach to his music. As he grew older he became even more sensitive to finer phrasing. He is my favorite pianist
wandaful
do you have more concertos from this series (Lincoln center)? i has been searching for Kubelik in 1976. regards
Do you happen to have the 2nd half of this concert? The Brahms 2nd Symphony....
Thank you.Merry Christmans.
While masterful piano playing, fairly cold and dry. And, sadly, the BSO didn't do much to add drama. Perhaps the close miking makes it sound more mechanical than it did in the hall, but this was during a time that Seiji was wearing out his welcome in Boston.
THESE DAYS,THE HARSH CRITICS OF YESTERYEAR HAVE ALL BUT VANISHED FROM DOING HARM AND,ATTEMPTING TO MISLEAD CONCERT GOING PUBLIC AND HARMING THE CONCERT WORLD.
@@colinfischer1268 Sure, whatever.
I loved this perfirmance
and ... it was also back in Kissin's crazy hair days... he still make the piano sound just lovely... I personally like a more "romantic" telling of this work... some parts were nice...
