Ill be honest, it sucked when Jessica said they should be friends, even though she said "Fuck off Im a Time God" right after that. But that didn't make me hurt as much as others since Jessica has been a consistent thing in this show. The girl from Mortys day of saving his place in time and Planetina were both instances where I actually felt Mortys pain. Not because of personal relatable experiences, but just because of how much I recognize the chemistry between the 2 and how much it sucks when they know it as well
It does suck when anyone has to call off a doomed relationship because they see what the other person has become. He knew what Planetina was after that mining massacre, and he just couldn't follow after that. But there is nothing worse than hearing that person say "f*** you" at your face. I’m with you brother. Happened to me two years ago and shit still hurts like it just happened. We’re lucky to have mothers that are there to comfort us like that though.
I always found this show kind of heartwarming that their family is even more dysfunctional than mine, but they somehow manage to do incredibly healthy things like Beth just coddled Morty after being pissed off about the whole ordeal she knew was going to end badly.
The voice acting, how broken both sound, Planetina sounds exactly how someone that has to show being strong is at the verge of tears, and how Morty (Someone how is emotionally sensible) is giving it all to be strong, in that moment, how Beth also acts like a true, loving mother, all the scene was emotional, heart breaking, and beautiful. Respect
Morty acts like she’s some murderous psycho, but she just seems to be thinking big picture. Morty thinks immediate threats are valid to use lethal force against, but not taking action against the gradual destruction of the planet which would make it uninhabitable. To her, everything the did was as tangible a threat as someone holding a gun to another’s head. She tried to inform people, tried to make a difference. To her, standing back and letting people continue like that was insane and it was a cause worth anything to protect everyone.

I went through a heartbreak like this too, I think most of us can relate to being super broken emotionally, when we were younger.. and some when they were older. The problem with my story was that I had such a weird relationship with my family that when I went through my break up, I didnt have anyone to comfort me. I didnt want to tell my mom, because we were really never close like that. I kinda just dealt with it, alone in my room. Hug ya'lls Moms.. especially if you all get along well..
I had a girl leave me for an unknown reason which I didn't know for months, but I had a feeling she cheated, which I later found out to be true. The miners contribute to the broken system they could vote for people who would lose the mine but gave them learning/ other job options. they could do so many other jobs or school themselves too do other jobs but short sight thinking got the better of them.
@@joeribaars5481 It isn't that simple to switch occupations like that, especially when such jobs tend to be the only one in a region and would require relocating. Realistically it would require something along the lines of the government designating an industry as obsolete and providing funding for the workers and families to transition to a new line of work. It is also hard for those like the miners here to worry about the planet and the effects their line of work is having on it as it seems far more abstract a thing than the obvious, real, and immediate need of providing for their families. In short, both sides are somewhat right and there is no perfect answer.
@@82SSchultz I heard that some mining towns started by offering office and IT schooling to miners but you could also build a nuclear power and hire the miners as workers innthe plant (IT isn’t locally locked, while powerplants while bound to a location by moving from coal to nuclear you could better transition to renewable while keeping the workers, in theory if not moved to Thorium you could turn old mines into nuclear waste Vault. If the local government cared they would make the mines absolute and school the miners but. Coal Lobbyists stop that.
@@joeribaars5481 Absolutely, though I know near me in NY we had an issue where decades ago there was a nuclear plant constructed and when it came time to use it the public outcry THEN caused it to not be used. So...we paid for a nuclear plant that we never used. I recall hearing of that program being offered (was it in West VA?) which is a good idea. I think your point of lobbyists and the influence they are having is a (perhaps THE) major issue. The coal industry is a dying one and we shouldn't be bailing it out through politicians. If we did the same thing to the ice industry a hundred years ago we would all still be using ice boxes instead of refrigerators. It stifles progress.

Considering I'm a hopeless romantic who thrives off of positive vibes but now I just yearn for the sweet release of death where I can sleep.
Only in the uncensored version could I hear the crack in Planetina's voice when she said "fuck you"
I may not be the AntiChrist who steps foot in my yard and I won’t back down without all the choices I made that It’s all because of Morty for being an emotional wreck.
Man this takes me back to the high school sweetheart days..
its the uncensored “fuck you” that gets me
Honestly, that "fuck you" had so much emotion behind it, it really made me sad
01:18 Watch this, Lisa. You can actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half
The uncensored “Fuck you” hits that much more harder than it does censored
Damn the amount of character that Morty showed in this scene to say no to Planetina.
This episode was a tearjerker.
Wanna feel bad for Morty but a couple of episodes ago he was murdering generations of people downplaying the significance of the murder of 300 people
That felt way too real
It is a cathartic moment when someone you love like your mom can make you break down after simple question “are you okay”
1:02
That "fuck you" hurt
I felt a love that strong for someone once, it was unrequited...never again.
Planetina: "This is the only way I can save Earth. It's the only way I can save you."
Morty: "IF that's the only way, I don't want to be saved."
Damn, this show got deep. Then again, when hasn't it?
1:02 good lord Annie from Community just gave a huge blow to Morty so fucked up
that was the hardest "fuck you" i've ever had to hear
This episode took my by surprise that I even cry everytime o see this scene
This ending scene and the ending scene on the episode with unity in it from season 2 are my favourite 2 episodes because from this show being a comedy it ends up getting very real and the reason I fell in love and related with these characters I LOVE THIS SHOW
that ,,fuck you" was strong.
When you love someone and their activism consumes them.
Watching this right after a break up
That “shes gone “ feels all too real 🥲
Seriously. When planetina said "fuck you" it broke my heart.
To those who broke up for the best of both parties.. the song is called "I Am the Antichrist to You" by Kishi Bashi
It's kinda funny how Planetina DO understandas that the system we live is broken and still asks the miners to stop working
I’m just glad she wasn’t murdered at the end when they were happy.
I cannot express how much the last thing Morty said fucked me.
Oh shit didn't realize in the uncensored version she threw one last insult as Morty gosh dang just when I thought the episode couldn't get more emotional
Beth being an actual mom broke me...
One of the saddest break-ups if you consider Morty innocent as I do, ever. So sad.
I remember going through this kind of pain, nothing like a good Molly Binge to feel it harder
Morty needs a shit load of love and fan support. Now more than ever.
Rare moment of beth being a decent mom
The poor boy is loosing it at this point...
Man, I've been hit with that "fuck you" a few times and damn it sucks
Hurts deep inside.
1:13 that was legit wonderful to see, Beth can be a good mom.
That’s not even his real mom now you have to remember they’ve switched through hundreds of universe is that’s not the original Beth
I hope Planetina is gonna come back at some point in the story
Apparently they wanted to have Planetina Break Morty's heart, but They Thought it'd be more interesting to be the other way aroynd
now morty stuck with his room temp iq mom
Top 10 saddest Anime moments:
Wish my mom or dad was there for me like that when things happen a lot of feels right now
Morty and Planetina had a better relationship than Jessica and Morty would ever have
I genuinely think Morty's break down in this episode is one of Justin Roiland's best performances in his entire carrier
If only Healthy Morty from Season 3 dealt with this hard breakup.
Reminds me of my second ex. She didn't appreciate me being there for her when she was sad. One time she didn't message me at all the entire day and I got worried, constantly checking in on her to make sure she was alright. Then the next day she ranted at me calling me an annoying worry wart, and then she dumped me.
1:02 is basically how I responded
I'm not being mean but are you sure you weren't being clingy? Also if she was going through something I don't think she would want spam text from a guy or girl who doesn't understand since I probably wouldn't. People deal with stuff differently so in a way it was no ones fault
@@zonebro6205 I understand. But the least she could've done is send me a message telling me that she was going through something and needed some alone time.
@@wlliamson53 Ok but what was she going through if you don't mind me asking? Because if she was in deep pain she probably couldn't even go on her phone because she was that sad. Maybe her phone was off then when she saw all your text she got angry the broke it off between you both also after you broke up did you ever try to reconnect with her because you never know
@@zonebro6205 her step mom had died and she had a lot of shit going on at work
Man. This scene hit too close to home
I cried at this scene
The only time Beth is actually a mom
