I like how Rick wasn't there for "Vindicators 2" but instead of saying Lady Katana and them died, he says, "They didnt want me so bad, they murdered three heroes," which suggests he sees right through that press release.
Maybe, though it could also be that he's saying they effectively murdered them because they'd likely live if he helped. Both work well but that had been my thought.
he also directly says they are 'the writers of their own press releases' further saying that anything they say is suspect and they don't get the benefit of the doubt.

Alan is the only member of The Vindicators. Who feels guilty over the incidents that his team had committed in the past, and his death was horrible by Million Ants who had an affair with his wife. In the end got betrayed by the same person. It's basically their version of The Boys.

So, Supernova can annhilate everyone in the bar including her fellow Vindicators while being drunk, but when Rick does it everyone throws a fit especially Supernova herself instead of understanding the gravity of the situation at hand?

Tbh, drunk depressed Rick wants to prove Morty that vindicators are a waste of space and time, while he can annihilate the boss, while drunk. He did forced the team into a squid game, and the teammates ended up royal battle each other. Drunk Rick really ended the vindicators, and supernova just superseded the termination of the group.

Supernova was the tipping point in all parts of the Vindicators downfall. She had an affair with million ants, she pushed the team to Ignore Rick and not seek his help, she egged on everyones bloodlust, had a miscarriage on a populated planet, all while making everything about her. Legit, if Supernova wasnt on the team everyone would still be alive only to die horribly by Drunk Ricks Saw parody.

Notice the way things worked out in Supernova's favor similarly:

To be fare. He didn't kill them, it was supernova. So he just doesn't care.
Vance's expression might not have changed, but Supernova's goes from smiling to looking angry. Alan's goes from smiling to expressing remorse, so if anything Supernova has the worst reaction of them all.
Based on her excuses right after she killed them, she's probably just thinking about how mad they made her feel so they deserved their deaths at her hands. Vance is just nonchalant in general; he may not have killed them but he doesn't care that much that they died either. Not to mention, Supernova and Vance are both selfish and terrible people. Don't think one being better than the other means anything at the end of the day.

Alan being the one to bring Rick Sanchez in as a possible option really surprised me, considering what Supernova said in the actual show. “Im not the one who didn’t want you back, Alan was.” Really surprised me.
She also lies constantly, like the time she helped genocide a planet and then blamed it on some other galactic horror. She's probably the one that had a problem but put it on Alan.

The original vindicators 2 shorts intros saw supernova getting increasingly evil looking and alan more distressed at whats happening to them.

I don’t have Internet at my new house until next week, so I was looking for full episodes. Didn’t even know this gem existed.
Should make a Vindicators series even if it's minis. You can have SuperNova lead a new team of people, then an enemy can be millions ants, the millions ants (minus a few) each become a Million Ants colony and go after Super Nova for revenge for killing the Queen, then you can have some issues caused by or left over from Rick and Morty appear, Naruto Smith can be a member as well as other characters or messes. Many bad guys, Space Beth can also be a member. Beth Mytholog can be an enemy with a few Jerry Slugs, she could have escaped in some way from another dimension, you really have a hundred stories you can make of them easy. Alone handling issues Rick left behind would be a series on it's own. You can go about naming it 100 ways, Mighty Vindicators, Vindicators the next Generation, Vindicators Extreme, Vidicators of the Galaxy, so many weird options you can make it. Noob Noob the most powerful member is still alive so it be fun to explore that whole thing.
The army of left over Jerry's since all the Ricks died, the Giant Sperms is an enemy on it's own, Weird Evil crazy Ricks, other aliens, so many choices and disaster they can handle in the Vindicator way.
This is some hard core.. love of fans.

This is a pleasant surprise....2/3 of the episode is new to me! I just thought there was a whole missing story, not that it was ever animated, to show how terrible they mostly were, kind of like "The Boys." Fills in a lot of gaps on the "Vindicator 2" mission.
I feel like Rick knew about how terrible they were since day one. It makes sense that he got so jealous now that we have the context

I thought alan didnt want rick back but supernova was open to the idea. Im pretty sure when they said that "we exterminated planet" im sure it means that they did it on purpose. I dont know what parts of these are inconsistencys are showing what the vindicators lied about, but that wasnt them lying, if it was it wouldnt make sence for them to put on an act and only lie about that spasific event and not everything else. Alan being suprised by the baby in vindicaters 3 I always asumed it was beacuse he didnt know that they even had a baby, let alone she had an affair. But I cant critisize this beacuse of an asumption. but im pretty cirtan thats what the show led us to belive but dosent really matter. I kno all these things happen so you could tell a story but I would rather not to retcon an episode just beacuse "you" wanted to make a short that wasn't needed.
