Well only Ricks Beth was killed by a bomb- the other Beths would have seen their Mother been erased like slow Mobius's family saw him vanish across infinity. Much more tragic that Beth is essentially orphaned hence the Ricks that live with alternate versions of their dead daughter, as mentioned by Ricks younger memory self. Thats why Rick prime made the Omni Device, he wanted to automate the punishment. He did i first on Diane but it was one time use only, as mentioned by Rick Prime he upgraded it to fire multiple times. He is so evil Beth would have been next, as mentioned in this latest episode. With Lesser Ricks abandoning their daughters there was room for better ones coming in and assume their fatherly role.
He likely wanted to hurt the Ricks by killing their friends and family one person at a time. He likely wanted them to "savor" each death. He also probably wanted the punishment to last as long as possible without giving them enough time to heal.
@@joetrevino734 True... but... not exactly. Rick Prime was the one that built Froopyland and other inventions for Beth, after all. I think u should watch more Rick and morty channels then 💀 (not to say this guy isn’t cool but I watch a lot of Rick and morty channels and non of them are obnoxious so I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about)
I really think that this was one of the most straighforward episodes so far story-wise, like constant flow of answers and conclusions, evil morty backstory, prime rick capture and defeat, info about ricks wife being killed in all realities, all in one single mid season episode. I know that the show is renewed for a couple of seasons more or something, but while watching that episode i had that unexplained feeling that this is the last season of rick and morty, and the names of the last two episodes seem a bit serious as well.
Also, the posters on the wall in Morty's room are seen previously in 'An Rickonvenient Morty', or at least, the devil one is. So, are not unique, to E.M.
Luckily we will gurentee have 10 seasons of rick and morty and even with new voices it's being positively received so one can assume they would be renewed again
the fact that c137 rick appear to be smarter than other rick besides rick prime, give rick rick prime a valid point when he said "you would've been me, i just walked into your garage before you walked into mine"
Evil Mortys comment about Rick Prime makes sense when you think about it like this. Rick C-137 claims Rick Prime is "The worst Rick", and Evil Mortys response is "The worst turd is a Pizza". His point is that the worst Turd would be something that isn't a Turd. Rick Prime would therefore be the Best Rick as he is still a Turd, like the rest of them. All Ricks are equally shitty in his eyes. You can claim one smells worse than the other, but shit is still shit.
Evil Morty isn't evil, he just hates Rick and what he did to him and the Universes. This Rick is different, that's why he stated that he was OK at the end of the episode
Not to mention the mass genocide that was the “Nobody leave, Everybody stay” operation. Not even project phoenix saved them. He’s definitely evil, his goals are just fundamentally simple - to leave the curve and be left alone.
How many weeks or months did he torture hundreds of other Mortys? How many Ricks and Mortys did he slaughter on the Citadel? He is one of the most Evil characters in all of fiction. Maybe his end goal is just to live in peace, but he pursues that goal with Stalin-levels of ruthlessness.
In the flashback, the Rick's only saw the Mortys as stupid idiots, not capable of such crimes. That was why he was escorted away, believing him to be a dumb idiot.
It's "the scientist formerly known as Rick" and it's a parody of the musical artist Prince (who changed his name to a symbol so people referred to him as "the artist formerly known as Prince)--he also looks exactly like Prince. It's got nothing to do with the Victorian era. Also the family that discovers portal travel is The Jetsons, an old cartoon from the 60s.
Well at the end of the episode, it is heavily implied that revenge is not the answer, but rather finding love again (implied by slow möbius wife). Even though Rick has been rejected by every girl he tries to get with, I believe that he will finally learn to love his family and fully accept them as his own. Rick will try to accept the fact that he’s never going to have his original family back and move on (it was also implied in S6 E1 with Cronenberg Jerry). Or Rick is going to try and find Evil Morty, so he can get some info about the weapon plans. I mean if there is a machine that can annihilate a person then surely he can build a machine that can undo it. Then it will either not work and wreck havoc or it will work, but Dianne won’t be or act the same.
well we have had jerry's arc with the divorce, summer's independence and somewhat looking into rick's footsteps, beth/space beth with what happened to them, now we just need to see what morty c-137 will do. he somewhat needs his own thing going, at first i thought he was gonna get a girlfriend or something but up till now he is just supporting rick or going on adventures with him while sometimes calling the shots on what they will do (and i think the next episode will cover that aspect). he needs his own stuff and even summer isn't fully arced out yet soo hopefully we get to see those things happen.
season 1 episode 1 Rick says "100 years Rick and Morty" so that means Evil Mortys flashback was during S1 E1 time frame. Thats mind blowing great job Dan
Really enjoyed this review over others because you just told the story elements where others would weave in all the pop culture references on the episode which took away from me grasping the narrative. Thanks Lonny.
I can definitely be wrong, but very likely he was just like Rick C-137, invented the portal travel before any other Rick, found out other being invented portal travel, and being egomaniac he started creating the central finite curve and giving Ricks the portal traveling. If they try they can sure invent something better, but I think they would just stick to that backstory, since I think Prime's story is over for good. I know ti's been only 3 episodes, but that's the point, the big bad nemesis is just gone that "easily", no going back now.
@@franix97 I always thought that c137 created the central finite curve to make finding prime rick easier. Also wouldnt make sense on how c137 knows how to get out of central finite curve without making it, also if prime rick made the cfc then evil morty would def hate him or atleast know about him

Rick Prime seems to me like the epitome of what Dr. Wong said in the Pickle Rick episode about how Rick uses his intelligence to justify sickness. Based on what he said about killing Ricks who he believed considered themselves to be better, I'm thinking it all began when Rick Prime was confronted by Diane about his growing nihilism after he invented portal travel, but he tried to justify it to her by saying that's how all Ricks are. She, of course, didn't believe that, and so I'm thinking she left him. Afterwards, Rick started going around and giving the secrets to portal travel to all the other Ricks and killing those who refused simply to prove to Diane and to himself that he's right, and after finding enough Ricks that disagreed with him he created the Omega Device and erased her from the multiverse out of spite. It honestly makes perfect sense given what we know about Rick Prime, and I feel like a good direction for this season's storyline to go would be for Rick C-137 to find a way to reverse the Omega Device and bring Diane back, completing a character arc that shows that Ricks are actually good, decent people who believe things matter, are able to show that they love their family, and are no longer going to hide behind their intelligence to justify their behaviour. It'd be a great way to actually change the status quo in a way that they can't just backpedal out of in the next season's premiere like they've done before.
My only wonder is: Did Morty sucked the Rick's knowledge? Most would say "of course, he take Prime Ricks' tech knowledge at the end of the episode" and even more, he seems to scan deceased Rick's memories with his eyepatch during the evil Rick episode, but he's still smart enough to develop such a tech in a simple eyepatch. If he was "evil" Rick's sidekick he sure is not a super intelligent Morty, maybe just a more sadistic and cold one as we can see at the begin of the episode, so I'm pretty sure he somewhat stole Rick's tech just making it into an eyepatch, then when Rick was drunk he sucked all of his intellect becoming a smart Morty, then sucked a lot of Ricks intelligence to become smarter than any Rick, I highly doubt he was already that smart but still work for Rick like every other Morty.
Plus, going back to the "I could use that" when "Evil" Morty says Rick is different, that implies his plan is not (anymore) just "monologue and f off", he has something in his mind. I expect a Gus Fring-Walter White thing, E.M. will come back with something in his mind, and Rick will be forced to work for him, or else he and his family will get cancelled from every reality, plus E.M. is too smart to be defeated, so Rick has to comply while thinking on how to beat him for good without being too aggressive until he will be sure to be able to win.
I think its related to the fruit that makes people intelligent. Remember on the first scene in the flashback where he complains about putting stuff up in his 4ss? Maybe he uses these stuff to keep smart as rich.
Is your fragile mind that opposed to the idea of a morty being smart? I mean god damn you constructed this much shit instead of just accepting morty can be smart? And the other guy in the comment going as far as season 1 saying morty shoves those smart seeds up his ass constantly to stay smart. Like come on. Our morty is already proof of a smart morty being able to exsist. And if you watched the previous evil morty episode you would know that he was scanning every rick to find information about the central finite curve. There doesn't have to always be a reason for why. Just take it as it is and move one
To support your theory, when Evil Morty closed the garage door, you hear a sound & a red flash.......it's literally the tool where Rick used to erase and store memory bits but Morty used it on Rick!!! So I think you're right.
It's interesting; after this episode, we find ourselves asking, "Now what?"-similar to how Rick got his revenge and questioned himself, "Now what?" It's amazing how the writers sync our emotions with Rick, capturing that emptiness after we get exactly what we ask for. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Oh, by the way, great video! Keep up the good work!!
If they’re going to put a new villain, I would like them to add doofus Jerry and make him the main antagonist of the next season. That would be pretty amazing.
Rick Prime's hubris could be seen in the scene, where Evil Morty was scrubbing his brain of Omega Device data: He was speaking to him like any regular Rick would speak to Morty, with disdain, thinking that Morty is just too retarded to comprehend even the most basic Rick's invention. He basically underestimated everyone else, as he considered himself a god. Not unlikely to other Ricks, as they also have overinflated ego, but Prime was special case. This also makes me think that Rick Prime, and Evil Morty are different stages of the same cycle. Underdogs getting out of their original confinement by taking the control on the first opportunity. But while Prime wanted to make Ricks gods in their secluded part of the multiverse (I still think that making of the Citadel was his plan all along), Evil Morty just wanted some peace and quiet. That's why he wasn't travelling between dimensions, giving his tech to the smartest Mortys, to do what he's done. So in fact, he broke the cycle in some way.
Evil Morty did successfully leave the finite curve. He only came back because Rick's attempt to search for Rick prime was also affecting Evil Morty's paradise. That, plus the fact that Rick Prime had the Omega Device that couldve potentially kill Evil Morty if Rick couldn't kill Rick Prime
It would make sense for The Council of Ricks to be in on the 1x10 situation. They did have a vendetta against Rick C-137, remember? There would be a reason to frame him.
I think he understands that our Rick’s current version of Summer (I forget which dimension she’s from) has grown in standing with our Rick and would seek to rally all the other Summers from different dimensions to find Evil Morty to take revenge on him for wiping out Rick.
@@MrDEMarq our Rick technically doesn’t have a Summer because his Beth and Diane were murdered. And then the Summer from Rick Prime’s dimension died too. I think Jerry from that dimension was the only survivor of the apocalypse besides Morty (our Morty) and then Rick Prime killed him too.
Also, Rick is free to do whatever he wants.... that probably scares him more than anything. His adventures used to be a distraction from his vengeance... but he has it now.
There are still more story lines to tie up. The one true Morty, the piece of Morty's consciousness that is living as a character in an AI program. Evil Morty even admited he was afraid of some of Summer's versions coming after him, so they could explore that possibility.
I already said if Rick wants he could have saved his wife and daughter, clone them both, put the same clothes on them, travel through time, stop time, replace them both with clones, they will die, make Rick see them die, taking care of the paradox, then take them for the future . You'll just have to explain to them what happened .
I am a little worried that Rick Prime is the one that came out that room. He couldn't outsmart Evil Morty, but he was leaps and bounds ahead of our Rick, and with the info Evil Morty has, he would have to play along. (added on edit) The very way he come out the room they never show the body behind him so you can tell who is really in the chair, just a Rick covered in a TON of blood, and this has never been a show at shying away from showing you a messed up body.
I really hope that's the case, I think they're just gonna bring it, Rick, crime back because our Rick has nothing to do, but I'm really fucking, hoping that for the rest of this season and the next season, it's Rick, prime posing as our Rick
For me this possibility does not exist. The fact he was captured by evil morty means he is no longer someone who is so far to kill. bringing him back would just be a rerun of the whole thing. Idea of rick prime is a rick as smart as our rick with no family or connections. The fact that he got defeated makes him an nonaluring character to revive.
I just had a idea: what if the smartest Rick in the multiverse was never on the central finite curve because he wasn’t the smartest of all humans, he was just smarter then all Ricks
We have seen the omega device. Remember the episode where rick tried to kill himself with a helmet device but ended up killing a creature called bogger aids? That was the omega device being used. You saw evil morty extracted the schematic for omega device, the blueprint labeled as bogger aids v2 limplied we have seen it. Now we know the device is capable of erasing all variants of.the person across the multiverse, Rick was about to erase all ricks. Rick does not remember he created the device as well because he erased his own memory for the event.
When it said V2 I kinda assumed it meant V2 because prime said "this one can fire more than once." Essentially meaning he made one before that was flawed
What would come next is in my experience of questioning the existential and battling nihilism is that once the shock of reality clutching at him as he has to face himself. Either Rick goes into depression ceasing to invent, travel, and/or battling depression begins to spiral as he tries to fix what he sees as unacceptable and a new goal meaning Diane being gone. To me that would be the thing to do as even if he can’t get his Diane back who’s to tell him different that he can’t fix what Rick Prime did? Exploring deeper into Ricks ideas in the face of something existential but is cold reality setting in while battling within himself is a real great setup to explore the mind, the spiritual and time itself no matter where it leads on his own journey of purpose whatever or however that takes shape.
Morty lives out of the CFC and the void was what is outside, chaos. The point of the CFC is to make Rick a god in each accessible universe and within his control.
I really love these videos the background music is terrific with the subject content along with the narrator's voice it's awesome Now bow before JEERY SMITH
2:42 not a Victorian version, this is a parody of the late pop singer Prince, who later referred to himself as "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince". In the Season 1 episode, the parody is called "The Scientist Formerly Known as Rick".
"Weird sweater universe..." lol, they're turtleneck sweaters and the picture of Snuffles shows him in the turtleneck/gold necklace combo that the young Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) wore, which has become iconic.
I’ve got a feeling we haven’t seen the last of prime. Sure, his back ups got erased, but I can almost guarantee he has some sort of secret “operation phoenix” program like c137. We’ll see, but I strongly believe the writers wanted us to think it was the end of prime. When I’m all reality it was simply fight No 1 between the trio. And I’m intrigued as to what role evil morty will play in the future. I loved how he helped “kill” prime, but what’s next
@@kowhaifan1249 well the thought of the show without prime sounds kinda boring tbh. Like prime said as he was being beat to death “who are you without me” he was promptly answered “we’ll see”. I mean, the entirety of the show has revolved around him for the most part. Harmon must have something amazing up his sleeve, or the show will flop moving fwd. ya just have evil morty, and all he wants is to be left alone. What kinda story comes from that. Who knows
No he's obviously dead. There is no Project Phoenix for rick prime. Project Phoenix was already destroyed by evil Morty and literally in this episode he destroys all of prime's backups and decoys. So its like right in front of you telling you this isn't the case but somehow you think it is. Makes no sense
@@joetrevino734they showed the body what do you mean? you watched rick prime get brutally beaten to death, right? After they got rid of all his backups and disabled him? Why would he lose a fight like this on purpose it makes no sense
It was the "The Scientist formerly known as Rick" not "The Science also known as Rick". Its not a Victorian era dimension, this rick was a cross between Rick and Prince. Its a play on Prince's name when he changed his name to "The Artist formerly known as Prince" so that the record company couldn't copyright him or his work from then on. This was back in the 90s so maybe you were too young to remember that or possibly not even born yet. Hope this makes sense!
1:58 Actually, strangely enough, his dimension is written perfectly on screen, as are the other Morty files. Evil Morty’s origin universe is Dimension 79⊢⊇V (Seven-Nine-Turnstile-Superset-Vee)
5:27 Or the genius behind Ricks portal is that it is limited granting the safety in numbers limiting the number of dimensions available. In the episode with the Dinosaurs its obvious Rick knows his portal gun is limited [to whats implied by the Triceratop (?)]. Lets play with the idea that Ricks portal gun get a larger range of universes, statistically speaking it ought to be more chaotic as even though there is an infinite amount of ricks, the mean range of ricks came from earth but if the portal guns range opens up to the astounding wealth of a multiverse the relative safety would get diluted. Lastly, if he would open up the gun and decide he'd wanna do the journy out into the unknown, the increased difficulty is probably not indicative of "high enough gains." Rick is sort of lazy that way which is why I think this a cogent argument. Its sort of Circa 2010 with iphone vs Samsung Galaxy. Even though the Galaxy was marginally more powerfull the limited iOS (beat it hands down, despite being "dumbed down").
Yeah them releasing this episode and this stuff happening in the middle of the season, I’m guessing either Evil Morty is coming back at some point at the end of this season or next as the next baddie, or they’ll team up again in revelation of a far greater threat than the two of them! Just a guess! They also have been showing Doofus Jerry in one of the intro scenes in the season 7 intro, so definitely or maybe, I think he’d be an awesome baddie for Rick and Morty to face!
its not victorian era, everybody in that universe is dressed like Prince. When the council summons rick c137, even even threw out 'the scientist formally known as rick' as also having a history of non compliance before the council threw back that he was already a victim. ... Its all one big prince joke.
I think the omega device had a fail-safe that prevented Rick prime from complete eradication. Evil Morty realized that while looking at blueprint before leaving. But he decided not to ruin c-137's moment and destroyed the device to hide the evidence. Because all he wanted was the blueprint
What nobody seems to mention is that there is more than one prime and c-137 rick. In the potion no. 9 episode where the world turns Cronenberg and rick and morty go to the reality where rick fixed everything but they both died, the dead rick also has booze drool like the c-137 rick which he only has because he got depressed after he couldn't find prime rick. Meaning the new world is that of another prime rick because the story had to happen the same way like for rick c-137
Fr I always consider the comics not canon as Rick Prime said, he and C-137 are the only ricks to make inter dimensional travel. In the comics where Doofus Jerry debuted, Doofus Rick made Portal Fluid which proves he’s capable of making inter dimensional travel as well.
3:08 saw an explanation for the weird sweater dimension. its a joke about an old photo of the rock. the dog pic on the wall is exactly the cloths he had on his pic
I wonder if that device only erases people in the curve. Can Rick go outside the curve, into a universe where he isn’t the smartest, and find a Diane there? Or is she gone _everywhere?_ If that is the case, and he can just leave the curve to find a Diane, then wouldn’t he be able to make a machine that puts her back into existence?
The only thing that didn't turn well is when Morty discover Diane was killed all over the infinite universes and said to Rick "you didn't tell me she was killed all over the universes". The problem is that Morty should have all the memories of Rick since the day they were fighting with evil Morty ñast time..
I can see a potential return of rick prime later on because of project Phoenix. In some of the past episodes we have seen when Rick's die they can come back with those back up clones. You would think rick prime would have some sort of back up but at the same time maybe not, maybe his ego was so big he didn't feel for the need of a back up body. Who knows tho
It's going to be interesting seeing how before Dianne's death our Rick was gonna hang up being a science god and just live a normal life. But still Prime tells him if he didn't discover Portal travel first, it would have been our Rick in Prime's garage. So perhaps Prime was about to quit portal travel, too and something happened that tirned him into the embodiment of chaos.
So for the sweater universe as u called it I saw somewhere it’s a reference to the rocks outfit choice of a black sweater gold chain necklace and a Fanny pack
Correction: At the 2:14 Mark, that is NOT Rick & Morty in a Victorian setting. That's The Scientist Formerly Know As Rick. They're from a dimension where everyone dresses & decorates like Prince (the musician).
The Omega Device can bring Diane back. It'll end interdimensional travel. It's exactly where the show is headed. The Smith's will need protection from it, and anyone who Rick chooses. Those are the biggest strands. Evil Morty asks Rick how he felt after killing RP. He knows...making the show now, not about a revenge plot is exciting.
Kinda makes sense why evil rick said "DO YOUR WORST, KILL ME! KILL ME!" while brutally being beaten up by a bunch of mortys. He had enough and saw it has his chance to be free from evil morty's control.
Rick Prime was the first Rick to invent portal travel. The thing about Rick Prime is that he doesn't care about anyone but himself. And as such, Rick Prime's ambition was to turn himself into an infinite god, where the only other people of worth were different versions of himself. Hence Rick Prime travelled from dimension to dimension, handing out portal travel technology. C-137 refused the offer, because he would rather spend time with his family. So to motivate C-137, Rick Prime killed his family. This motivated C-137 to invent portal travel too. But Rick Prime realised that with portal travel, Ricks like C-137 could just travel to a different dimension family. So to properly motivate other Ricks to become an infinite god, Rick Prime killed Dianne across all dimensions. The point is that other Ricks who also cared more about their family, would be properly motivated to accept the portal travel offer after the loss of Dianne. Hence why C-137 is the only other Rick to also invent portal travel. The key here is that Rick Prime killed Dianne across all dimensions, to motivate other versions of himself to become the infinite Rick.
You all missed it. The real Rick prime was found in an earlier version where he ran around naked when being hunted by Rick before resetting portal travelers. When Rick prime went back to his universe he met with survivor Jerry when Rick prime was putting pants back on and said “Igor that I was doing a thing”
So, while Evil Morty burned/destroyed all of Rick-Prime's backups I can't help wondering if.....when he downloaded that weapons specs into his mind......he might have downloaded a bit more then intended and inadvertently turned himself into another backup for Rick-Prime.
Did we see a body? No? Then we can't assume Rick Prime is dead. Oldest trick in the book. In fact, the Rick that walked out of the room... THAT could be Rick Prime.
Damn guys my bad for mistaking victorian era with prince 😭 unfortunately i’m not really knowledgeable in his stuff which was the reason of my misinterpretation, thank you all for noticing that mistake! Imma use that for future videos 👀

The curve is sturdy af and the Ricks knew what would go down if they didn't isolate it (insert joke of the Jetsons here). Now... The Citadel is gone, that's for sure, and a bunch of Ricks died. But the curve is there.
I just realized, Rick Prime killed both Dianne and Beth, then he created a device that erase Dianne in all infinity but kept beth. Interesting.
I mean c137 Rick didn't have a Beth, so maybe that's why?
He infers that the device could only fire once before he rebuilt it.
@@joetrevino734 True... but... not exactly. Rick Prime was the one that built Froopyland and other inventions for Beth, after all. He had some sort of detatched appreciation for her, till he eventually left completely. His issues were clearly with Diane. I've been reading some theory that he lost Diane before all the story and, noticing that for Ricks that still had her, his life path wasn't attractive, he proceeded with the omega device.

And underlying all of it, was that it was hilarious.
"Eh, I don't need a robin."
last season? how about the rick phrase "a hundred years rick and morty"
Also, the posters on the wall in Morty's room are seen previously in 'An Rickonvenient Morty', or at least, the devil one is.
So, are not unique, to E.M.
Luckily we will gurentee have 10 seasons of rick and morty and even with new voices it's being positively received so one can assume they would be renewed again
im from the future and fear no Mort was the best episode of this season and ragnarok one is quite okayish
the fact that c137 rick appear to be smarter than other rick besides rick prime, give rick rick prime a valid point when he said "you would've been me, i just walked into your garage before you walked into mine"
No he's still evil, don't forget he willingly enslaved and tortured hundreds of other morty's for his cloaking device.
Not to mention the mass genocide that was the “Nobody leave, Everybody stay” operation. Not even project phoenix saved them. He’s definitely evil, his goals are just fundamentally simple - to leave the curve and be left alone.
Bro the morty torture dome was definitely not lawful good I'll say that much
How many weeks or months did he torture hundreds of other Mortys?
Yeah, and it was three different versions with one looking like fallout.
Makes me wonder how old this guy is not to know that, or maybe I'm too old?
It could even be that Diane comes back, perfectly normal, but can't love who Rick became in his desperation to bring her back.
No evil Morty tells him cuz he's been so obsessed with chasing prime that after feels like life has no meaning
Well, now he's available for Unity
@@NineBreaker009 never gonna happen tho
well we have had jerry's arc with the divorce, summer's independence and somewhat looking into rick's footsteps, beth/space beth with what happened to them, now we just need to see what morty c-137 will do. he somewhat needs his own thing going, at first i thought he was gonna get a girlfriend or something but up till now he is just supporting rick or going on adventures with him while sometimes calling the shots on what they will do (and i think the next episode will cover that aspect). he needs his own stuff and even summer isn't fully arced out yet soo hopefully we get to see those things happen.
season 1 episode 1 Rick says "100 years Rick and Morty" so that means Evil Mortys flashback was during S1 E1 time frame. Thats mind blowing great job Dan
Really enjoyed this review over others because you just told the story elements where others would weave in all the pop culture references on the episode which took away from me grasping the narrative. Thanks Lonny.
Yea I want to understand what's happening the others channels states the obvious alot
I want to see Rick Prime's backstory in 1 episode
I can definitely be wrong, but very likely he was just like Rick C-137, invented the portal travel before any other Rick, found out other being invented portal travel, and being egomaniac he started creating the central finite curve and giving Ricks the portal traveling.
If they try they can sure invent something better, but I think they would just stick to that backstory, since I think Prime's story is over for good. I know ti's been only 3 episodes, but that's the point, the big bad nemesis is just gone that "easily", no going back now.
@@franix97 I always thought that c137 created the central finite curve to make finding prime rick easier. Also wouldnt make sense on how c137 knows how to get out of central finite curve without making it, also if prime rick made the cfc then evil morty would def hate him or atleast know about him
@@randomguy6467 If I remember correctly, they confirm C-137 made the COUNCIL, not the finite curve, but maybe I just forgot the scene when that happens. That said no, if what you say is true, Evil Morty should hate c137. Evil Morty literally said he doesn't hate him, he just doesn't care about both prime and c-137, whatever c-137 made the curve or not.
If they didn't confirmed that 137 made the curve I stick to the hypothesis that Prime did, but I might have forgot a detail, still Evil Morty just doesn't care, he does nor HATE anyone ore he would use the omega weapon.
@@franix97 Yeah its not confirmed that C137 made the finite curve but it just makes sense to me.
Why would evil morty have to hunt specifically C137 to get the information of leaving the central finite curve like why him, hes the only one who knows how to leave it.
@@franix97 just checked the wiki it says C137 is the creator
This episode was insane and it is probably my favourite episode of the season so far
Same! This definitely a favorite of mine in the series so far ❤ Solaricks is not far behind too
That wasn't a Victorian universe, that was a universe where everyone was dressed like Prince
@@renatobarreira6505good point. But he just said "another adventure where I end up an ass" seems more like this one Morty went up an ass
Would be epic!
@@lancecook7225 SUPER EPIC, I love his Homelander attitude
This Rick was paralized when Rick killed the council. Maybe he will show up latter.
I liked the way Evil-Morty said he didn't want a bunch of Alt Summer's chasing him if he killed Rick.
Which means it might have happened before? 😅
I think he understands that our Rick’s current version of Summer (I forget which dimension she’s from) has grown in standing with our Rick and would seek to rally all the other Summers from different dimensions to find Evil Morty to take revenge on him for wiping out Rick.
@@yarapah You think his Summer is still hunting for him?
I'm curious about his family also.
@@MrDEMarqevil Summer 😭
Evil Morty could wipe out the Smith family except Morty because if he kills a Morty that means he dies as well
Also, Rick is free to do whatever he wants.... that probably scares him more than anything. His adventures used to be a distraction from his vengeance... but he has it now.
Lonny's calm voice is literally perfect for a chill podcast and commentary type videos.
There are still more story lines to tie up. The one true Morty, the piece of Morty's consciousness that is living as a character in an AI program. Evil Morty even admited he was afraid of some of Summer's versions coming after him, so they could explore that possibility.
He meant if he erased Rick then summer would come after him
I already said if Rick wants he could have saved his wife and daughter, clone them both, put the same clothes on them, travel through time, stop time, replace them both with clones, they will die, make Rick see them die, taking care of the paradox, then take them for the future . You'll just have to explain to them what happened .
No you can't, because rick doesn't do time travel.
(The snakes episode doesn't count)
Essentially to save his family, he has to cause a bootstrap paradox.
@@gameover9390 Perfect solution in my opinion, it worked on Chrono Trigger and works everywhere.
This felt like season finally material.
I doubt it considering You can see that it was Rick c137 beating the shit out of Rick prime
Well no he wasnt leaps and bounds. Seems that he was literally a filter away
@@kevinmoore4355that would suck so bad why would you want that lol
Woah!
When it said V2 I kinda assumed it meant V2 because prime said "this one can fire more than once." Essentially meaning he made one before that was flawed
I feel like Rick Prime isn't truly dead...
Drunk and stoned guy rn: Rick prime is defeated however evil morty remains
11:23 it played for morty when he realized nothing would ever be the same, and for rick when he realized everything was still the same
YOU DID IT, YOU MADE A VIDEO ON IT!! RAHHHHHH 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

The best episode of rick and morty
How old are you? Lol, at 5:50 that’s not “any” family, they were referencing “the Jetsons”
But good analysis overall (:
I’ve got a feeling we haven’t seen the last of prime. Sure, his back ups got erased, but I can almost guarantee he has some sort of secret “operation phoenix” program like c137. We’ll see, but I strongly believe the writers wanted us to think it was the end of prime. When I’m all reality it was simply fight No 1 between the trio. And I’m intrigued as to what role evil morty will play in the future. I loved how he helped “kill” prime, but what’s next
yeah they didnt show the body, Rick teleported him into a blender dimension to be endlessly tortured or maybe he has him in the garage as prisoner
No, you are all wrong. Rick prime is gone and not coming back, Dan Harman even said so.
Because Justin roiland wrote prime.
It's now time for Rick's biggest challenge.
Facing greif and accepting his wife is gone
Happy to see you again:)
its not victorian era, everybody in that universe is dressed like Prince. When the council summons rick c137, even even threw out 'the scientist formally known as rick' as also having a history of non compliance before the council threw back that he was already a victim. ... Its all one big prince joke.
I still want to see Doofus Jerry officially appear in a future season
We need doofus Jerry
Fr I always consider the comics not canon as Rick Prime said, he and C-137 are the only ricks to make inter dimensional travel. In the comics where Doofus Jerry debuted, Doofus Rick made Portal Fluid which proves he’s capable of making inter dimensional travel as well.
Question . When rick prime says " frying my copies" . Does that include operation phoenix ? Or just the decoy rick primes
whats the background music used in the vid? (specific songs)
Or is she gone _everywhere?_
If that is the case, and he can just leave the curve to find a Diane, then wouldn’t he be able to make a machine that puts her back into existence?
The Sweater Universe is the Dwayne Johnson Sweater Universe. Check the Dog on the Wall like The Rock
I hope they bring in Doofus Jerry as the new big bad... that guy is SCARY...
Is Doofus Jerry fom the comics?
@miles2378 yeah!
The "sweater" universe was a reference to the rock with a turtle neck and chain
I don't think that was a Victorian era universe, pretty sure that was a universe where everyone is a version of The Artist Formerly Known As Prince.
3:24 that The Rock turtle neck meme universe
Man never felt bad abt evil rick until now
The only thing that didn't turn well is when Morty discover Diane was killed all over the infinite universes and said to Rick "you didn't tell me she was killed all over the universes".
Bro they are literally making history.
Kinda makes sense why evil rick said
"DO YOUR WORST, KILL ME! KILL ME!"
while brutally being beaten up by a bunch of mortys.
He had enough and saw it has his chance to be free from evil morty's control.
OBLIVION DEVICE would of been a better title by definition
6:12 oh, I remember when Dan theories went crazy back then.
What the background music
Love your channel love the video. OH and it wasn't a Victorian universe. It was a Prince universe. The scientists formerly known as Rick
You all missed it. The real Rick prime was found in an earlier version where he ran around naked when being hunted by Rick before resetting portal travelers. When Rick prime went back to his universe he met with survivor Jerry when Rick prime was putting pants back on and said “Igor that I was doing a thing”
I noticed those posters in Evil Mortys room are also in Morty Primes room. Any thoughts on this?
Where do i watch the new season?
lol I took a break from rick and Morty this season, but I watch this episode
That episode of Rick and Morty was fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Quick question why does the central finite curve map is similar to the multiverse map that evil morty uses to navigate himself to his house ?
So, while Evil Morty burned/destroyed all of Rick-Prime's backups I can't help wondering if.....when he downloaded that weapons specs into his mind......he might have downloaded a bit more then intended and inadvertently turned himself into another backup for Rick-Prime.
Did we see a body? No? Then we can't assume Rick Prime is dead. Oldest trick in the book. In fact, the Rick that walked out of the room... THAT could be Rick Prime.
That would be something
7:46 yes c-137 is different, but he didn’t bring the Mortys with him. They brought themselves, so that’s not a good example.
You disappoint me dude.
Well done.
